Chapter 635

Chapter 635

The next day, Qiao Ran woke up from her sleep. She was lying on the sofa in the suite, curled up and covered with a blanket. When she woke up, she felt uncomfortable all over.

Inside the room, the curtains were drawn tightly so that no light could penetrate.

She looked at the phone next to her and saw that it was already ten o'clock in the morning.

This time, she slept so groggy that she actually slept until this point. Last night, she bandaged Zuo Chenye's arm, took a hasty bath, washed her face, and reattached the mask.

She checked carefully again and found that his arm was no longer bleeding, so she slept peacefully.

It seems that there is no movement in the room yet, and he hasn't woken up yet? It was impossible for him to sleep until this point without waking up before.

Could it be that the effects of yesterday's medicine haven't worn off yet? Or is something wrong?

She stood up doubtfully and walked into the room quietly.

Slowly approaching him, hearing his even breathing and steady rising and falling chest, she turned on the light. Seeing that his face had returned to normal, she breathed a sigh of relief and turned off the light again.

As long as it's okay, let him continue to sleep.

Thinking about it, she turned and left.

Unexpectedly, suddenly, the hem of her clothes was pulled. She was startled and stood there.

"Don't go." Zuo Chenye murmured, "I'm already awake."

She said "oh".

"I'll open the curtains." She was about to walk to the window, but he held on to her clothes, like a child.

She looked back at him helplessly, "What's wrong? Let go. This is not your presidential suite or the automatic curtains. You are sleeping in my room now!"

"I know. Come here." He sat up from the bed and raised his upper body. The shirt he wore last night was very wrinkled, and now it was sticking to his body, as if it was nothing.

He pulled hard.

She fell down on the edge of the bed.

He came close to her, so close that he could even feel his hot breath spraying into the crook of her neck. When he raised his hand, he touched her hair.

She flinched and immediately became nervous, "What are you doing? Could it be that the effects of the medicine haven't worn off yet?"

Zuo Chenye chuckled, "I'm fine now. What are you thinking? I just saw a feather on your hair. I'll help you take it off."

He picked a feather from her hair and handed it to her, looking at her playfully with his narrow eyes, "Don't be nervous. If you really want to do something, I did it last night. You don't have to wait until morning."

She angrily threw the feathers on the ground. They must have escaped from the cushions of the sofa where she slept last night. His eyesight was really good. He could still see clearly in such a dark room. Seeing that he was in such good spirits, he must be fine.

"Now that you're awake, get up quickly and go back to your own room." She said angrily.

Zuo Chenye lay on the bed and complained, "I don't have the energy. I didn't have dinner last night. I worked all night and there was a lot of blood. I'm tired and hungry. I don't have the energy to get up now."

Why do his words sound so strange? What does tossing all night mean? Who is tossing whom?

"I didn't have dinner either, okay?" She glared at him, stood up, and opened the curtains a wide slit. She was still tired and hungry?

The brilliant sunlight shines in, making the room bright.

Zuo Chenye subconsciously raised his hand to block the dazzling light.

"Go buy breakfast. Buy more. Steamed buns, porridge, rice cakes, dumplings, snacks, soy milk, wontons, and several special morning teas from Beijing. Buy them all. I'm hungry."

"Haha." Qiao Ran was amused, "Why should I buy it? If you are hungry, can't you just ask the hotel to send breakfast to your room?"
