Chapter 29 The Eye of Illusion

A tall and thin black shadow grew out of the darkness. It was translucent and immediately pounced on Lumian's body, as if it wanted to find a new body for itself.

This looks like the possession of resentful spirits and evil spirits, the kind that can control the hotel owner, but it is not that fast and cannot complete the whole process in the blink of an eye.

At this moment, the sleeping Lumian suddenly turned black and thinned, merged with the surrounding shadows, and disappeared on the bed.

This is his newly signed contract ability, "Shadow Transformation"!

The whole room suddenly became extremely quiet, and it seemed that only the tall, translucent black figure was left. There was no Lumian, and no real attacker.

The next second, the darkness seemed to split open, and out crawled a dark python that was so rotten that you could see its bones, with yellow-green pus dripping everywhere.

This python's eyes are empty, and there are no fangs in its mouth, which look like a whirlpool when opened.

It made a rapid and sharp sound, and there seemed to be a terrifying suction force in its mouth, causing large tracts of the surrounding shadows to disembodied and fly in.

It appears to be an undead creature that feeds on shadows and shadowy creatures.

In an instant, the master bedroom of Room 5 of the first-class cabin of the "Asuka" showed a strange scene where there was still a little dim light, but everything had lost its shadow and was sleeping in pure darkness.

Lumian escaped from the shadow in time, returned to his human state, and appeared in an area covered with thick carpets and leaning against an exquisite wardrobe.

Almost at the same time, another tall figure walked out of the darkness.

It was a knight wearing broken black armor. Pale flames were burning in its eye sockets. A rotten liquid exuding a strong stench oozed out from the gaps in the armor. Only sticky flesh and blood remained on the exposed skin.

The dead knight raised the giant sword in his hand, took a step forward, and struck Lumian with an attitude that could shatter the bed and wardrobe.

Lumian's body moved very flexibly, from facing the Death Knight, the Shadow Swallowing Python and the tall black shadow to facing them sideways.

Wow!

When the death knight's two-handed giant sword split the wardrobe in half and pieces flew, Lumian squatted down suddenly, made fists with both hands, and hit the heavy brown carpet hard.

A large amount of red and nearly white flames exploded from the center of the circle, sweeping to every corner of the room, igniting everything that could burn, and burning the three undead creatures who were suspected to be from the spirit world.

Rumble!

In the roiling fire waves, fireballs condensed and flew out from around Lumian.

They either flew towards the death knight, the shadow-eating python and the tall black shadow, or covered this rather small bedroom indiscriminately.

Rumble!

Those red and nearly white fireballs exploded one after another, tearing apart three undead creatures, shattering the bed, desk and other furniture, and causing thick and pungent smoke to rise from the carpet.

In such a violent explosion, in such a limited space, as long as it is not a pure ghost, a pure spiritual body, and some entities exist, it will inevitably be destroyed, and the steel-like armor on the death knight's body will instantly fall apart.

, the giant python that swallowed the shadows fell apart and turned into a large number of burning corpses.

The tall and thin shadow was in relatively better condition, but it was also burned by the flames and became thin and fragile.

Rumble!

Although the "Asuka" is a ship made of steel, when it was hit by multiple cannons in a small area, few rooms could survive such power without being damaged. But the strange thing is that

, the bedroom in Room 5 of First Class only had cracks on the inner wall, neither the wall nor the door were really cracked.

Of course, the invisible barrier that enveloped this place shook violently, and it seemed that it would collapse in the next second.

Affected by the shock waves that bounced off the walls, doors and ceilings, Lumian, who caused the explosion, was not in a good mood. It was as if someone had hit his body with a huge hammer seven or eight times in a row, and everything in front of him was golden.

Small dots, a strong smell of rust filled the throat.

The air that was instantly drained by the flames made him experience what it means to be suffocated.

In the rolling waves of fire, a figure was forced out of the darkness.

He was standing just inside the window, wearing a black robe and a loose hood. His body was torn from multiple wounds by the wind and waves of the explosion and the sweeping flames, leaving a large area charred.

Lumian saw that on the surface of this person's skin, all the hairs were pale white, and they were no longer thin and hairy, but closer to the kind of feathers that were so small that it was almost difficult to distinguish them with the naked eye. Some of them were burnt black.

Finally, what came out was not thick smoke, but deep dark mist.

The blood flowing out of those wounds was not bright red, but yellow-green like pus.

Lumian also saw that under the lifted hood of this figure, there was a pale face and several ulcer wounds that were deep enough to show the bones. Above the wounds, pale down was vaguely visible.

The next second, Lumian saw the other person's cold flaxen eyes, and between the two eyes, between the eyebrows, there was a crack that quickly widened.

There is an illusory vertical eye in the crack, deep purple and almost black. It has no eyelashes or pupils, and there seems to be countless pale patterns hidden inside.

This strange vertical eye instantly reflected Lumian's figure.

Lumian, who wanted to "teleport" directly behind the hooded man and used the "Hum Ha Technique", suddenly felt frozen.

That comes from the spiritual level.

It was as if his spiritual body had lost the protection of his physical body and was directly exposed to an environment full of blazing sunlight, making him instinctively fearful, stiff and slow.

——Under normal circumstances, human beings rely on the astral spirit body to roam the spiritual world and obtain various revelations. The spiritual body, which is the origin of the soul, rarely leaves the body and is always under heavy protection.

The "spiritual piercing" of the "Arbiter" path is because it ignores the physical body, etheric body, astral body and mental body, and directly acts on the spiritual body, so it has a reputation that is difficult to prevent. No matter who it is, it seems that it will be affected, but

The degree is different.

Lumian suspected that the "Hum Ha Technique" was also like this.

In the deep purple and almost black vertical eyes of the attacker, the pale patterns rotated silently, as if trying to see the essence of Lumian's spirit body.

This made Lumian seem to be receiving cold scans from piercing light, causing his spirit body to tremble slightly and unable to form more complex thoughts.

Just when he was about to take the simplest action and sink his consciousness into the "Blood Emperor" brand on his right hand, the strange man wearing a hood suddenly groaned in pain.

His head jerked back as if he had been hit by a bullet.

The illusive deep purple to almost black vertical eye was no longer translucent and became blurry, dripping with dark red blood mixed with yellow-green pus.

Groaning in pain, the hooded man turned around quickly and flew out the window, dragged by the invisible object.

Seeing this, Lumian didn't rush to use "Spirit World Travel" to block the opponent. He directly raised his right hand and snapped his fingers.

Boom!

At the window, with a flash of red and nearly white light, a violent explosion enveloped the strange man wearing a hood.

This is a trap set by Lumian.

Before he "sleeped", he hid the master bedroom in the "Bottle of Imagination". There were two entrances, one at the window and one at the door. Only creatures with extraordinary strength could pass through. No matter which exit, he could

Contains a delayed explosion of fireballs.

It will also explode when stimulated.

In the roaring explosion of fire, the strange hooded man was lifted up and fell heavily against the window frame, with his arms and legs almost detached from his torso.

Without hesitation, Lumian "teleported" to the side of the strange man who was seriously injured and unconscious, and "hummed" at the enemy.

Two white lights spurted out and fell on the target, making him lose consciousness even more completely.

Lumian was about to take the next step when a pair of arms suddenly appeared from the darkness at the exit of the "Bottle of Fiction" that was shattered by the explosion.

Some of them are covered with sarcoma, some are so rotten that pus flows across them, and some are only left with blackened bones...

These arms grabbed the hooded man's clothes and dragged him into the darkness, disappearing without a trace.

Seeing this scene, Lumian did not immediately transform into a shadow creature and pursue it. Instead, he stayed where he was and frowned slightly.

The appearance of the attacker just now was 70% similar to the "Devil Wizard" Boorman on the wanted poster, but the sense of inhumanity was stronger, and many details were closer to undead monsters than humans.

Lumian was not surprised at all by the appearance of "Devil Wizard" Boorman. This was exactly one of the results he had been waiting for.

He deliberately mentioned his suspicions about his relationship with the "devil wizard" in front of Fidel without making it clear, in order to create the image of Louis Berry, a bold and conspiracy-loving adventurer who wanted to blackmail a big businessman.

Illusion.

Under normal circumstances, even if there was a real problem, Fidel would not take action so quickly. He would definitely observe the situation closely for a few days to confirm the situation, but this time Lumian "gave" him a chance: the name Louis Berry

The adventurer is promoting the commission he has accepted and wants to fish out the "Black Lord"!

So, no one would think there was any problem with him being killed by "Klass Kizz".

If a guy who overestimates his capabilities dies in Faling Port, it won't cause any trouble. It won't arouse the slightest suspicion.

That being the case, why not just nip the danger in the bud?

Even if Louis Berry only had suspicions without any evidence, it would still make the official Beyonders turn their attention.

Lumian's "performance" in the bar last night seemed to be fishing for the "Black Lord" Claes Kizzi, but he was actually fishing for the big businessman Fidel Guerra!

If Fidel really has nothing to do with the "Devil Wizard", then this will not bring additional reactions. Lumian can just follow the superficial purpose of hunting the "Black Lord". If it is true, he will soon be able to harvest "

feedback".

What Lumian didn't expect was that the abilities displayed by "Devil Wizard" Boorman were similar to several paths to God that he knew, but there were also certain differences!
