Chapter 9 Back and forth

I have experienced several frights this night, and Shuimi has been suffering from low blood sugar since she didn't have her teeth brushed.

After seeing the gilding, I could no longer bear the blow. After shaking my body for a few times, my vision went dark and I didn't know anything anymore.

I don’t know how long I was unconscious, but I vaguely heard someone’s voice:

"Liu Jin, I know it's not easy for you to carry someone back from the city.

But this matter is too big and someone has to take it on.

How about you two play guessing games, and whoever loses will take the blame.

At worst, I'll beg for mercy from the superiors, just say that this kid ran away on his own and we didn't stop him.

The higher authorities won't do anything to you, which means they will lose three to five years of your life.

Didn’t the superior who came down the year before last tell your fortunes for you two?

If you are upright, you still have sixty years to live, and if you are gold-plated, you have sixty-one years.

If I continue to beg you for mercy, it will only last for three to five months at most."

This voice sounds like an old Taoist priest in a Taoist temple. Did I dream of returning to the Taoist temple again?

Just when I was doubtful, I heard Gilded sighing again, and then said:

"Last time, Master, you were chasing stars and asking for autographs, and the superior got lost. It was our two brothers who took the blame.

As a result, each of us lost half a year of life."

While Gao Jin was talking, someone next to him sniffed a few times.

The man muttered his nose and muttered something under his breath.

The old Taoist priest heard what Nangbi said, turned to him and said:

"What do you mean by Zhengqi? What do you mean it's my turn?"

As an uncle, I raised you all the time, now is the time for you to repay your kindness!

When my old sister left, she held your hands and said something. She asked you to take care of me, your uncle.

Your mother has only been dead for about twenty years, and you are disobedient.

My poor old sister, look at your two white-eyed wolf sons.

When my wings harden, I want to fly. Why don't you take me with you?"

While I was talking, there was a sudden loud noise in my ears, which shocked me and opened my eyes suddenly.

In front of me is the room in the Taoist temple where I stayed for one night.

The old Taoist priest, Li Jin and another Taoist priest with his back to me were sitting beside my bed.

The old Taoist priest was a little excited when he spoke, and the spittle had already sprayed on my face.

It was him who slapped my bed excitedly just now, which woke me up.

Originally, the old Taoist priest was crying and scolding the two apprentices and nephews, but after seeing me regaining consciousness, he immediately changed his face and came over with a kind face.

After helping me sit up, he said:

"Donor, you finally woke up.

I have been sleeping all day and all night, which scared the old Taoist priest me.

How could you think you were mentally ill?

Don't be afraid, it's nothing serious, it's just that you ran around in the morning and broke the Taoist temple's formation.

But you can't go down the mountain at any time. It happens to be when the superior is about to leave. Our Taoist temple is also a part of the heaven.

There is a saying that one day in heaven and three years on earth.

You missed the next three years of good time."

At this time, my consciousness was still a little blurry and I couldn't understand what the old Taoist priest was saying. I just stared at the three Taoist priests in front of me in a daze.

The old Taoist priest was well-informed and immediately said to his two apprentices:

"Hurry, bring a bowl of porridge and add two more spoons of brown sugar."

While the old Taoist priest was speaking, a bowl of white rice porridge was filled with gold, mixed with two tablespoons of brown sugar, and served in front of me.

I'm also very hungry, and I can't think about why I disappeared for three years at this time.

After I took the rice porridge, I ate it hungrily.

After eating a large bowl of brown sugar rice porridge, I regained my consciousness.

I've just been hungry for several meals, and this bowl of porridge is really not that good.

After seeing it, Gao Jin served another bowl of rice porridge, mixed it with brown sugar, and delivered it to me.

I had just finished half of the bowl of porridge when the old Taoist priest smiled and said to me:

"After finishing this bowl of porridge, old Taoist priest, I still have a few words to say.

So what - donor, you are destined to be a Taoist and I, how about it? Become your master to me.

I don’t have any other abilities, but I can teach you how to become an immortal."

Before the old Taoist priest finished speaking, I turned around and sprayed half the bowl of porridge in my mouth onto his face.

Before the old Taoist priest could react, I rolled my eyes and fell straight on the bed.

This frightened the three Taoist priests. The old Taoist priest hurriedly came over to feel my pulse, and then said to the two disciples:

"I just said that he has been hungry for several meals, so he can't bear this little porridge, right? You don't listen.

It's over, this kid can't feel his pulse

We couldn't let this man die in the Taoist temple. The two young ancestors quickly dug a hole outside the temple and buried him.

Don't go empty-handed, go get the shovel and pickaxe, do you two still want to dig with empty hands?"

While he was chattering, Liu Jin and another Taoist priest had already walked out of the room with their heads lowered.

After the two young Taoist priests left, the old Taoist priest looked back at me.

Maybe he thought I had died, but the old Taoist priest felt a little uncomfortable living in the same room with a dead man.

The old Taoist priest walked to the door, leaned against the door frame and said to himself:

“Ashes to ashes, dust to dust

This person has his own fault, and you are not the old Taoist priest who killed me.

I also said that I wanted to take you as my disciple, but it's a pity that your blessings are too meager.

Tomorrow, as an old man, I will perform a ritual for you, so that your kid can have a good future in the next life."

While the old Taoist priest was talking, I sat up again silently.

I just pretended to be fainted, but I didn't expect this old man with two swords to think I was dead.

The bowl of rice porridge I just drank worked, and I no longer had hypoglycemia at this time. I got out of bed with my feet bare and tiptoed behind Lao Dao.

He picked up the gilded stool he had just been sitting on and smashed it into the back of the old Taoist priest's head.

Now I am convinced that all this is the fault of three Taoist priests. Although I don't understand what is going on, there is nothing wrong with restraining this old guy first.

After the old Taoist priest was hit by the stool, he fell to the ground silently.

Looking at the old Taoist priest's chest rising and falling slightly, it seemed that he was fine.

I was not in a hurry and ran out of the Taoist temple immediately, turned around and picked up the casserole with rice porridge.

After drinking half the pot of rice porridge, he wiped his mouth, stepped over the old Taoist priest's body, and ran towards the outside of the Taoist temple.

The moment I stepped out of the house, what was supposed to be the Taoist temple courtyard suddenly turned into the house I had just stayed in.

In front of me was a camp bed, a few stools, and a small pot of rice porridge left.

Underfoot is the unconscious body of an old Taoist priest

What's going on? Why did the yard become the inside of the house?

Looking back, I saw the courtyard at the gate of the Taoist temple behind me. Could it be that I just turned around and what was behind me became what was in front of me?

Or am I suffering from hysteria again, and the house and yard are all hallucinations?
