176 Transfer of assets

It was rare for Lao Meng to go home for dinner, and his wife and children happened to be at home, so the family of three had not been together for a long time.

After the company took off, Mrs. Meng returned home and became a full-time housewife. Her son, Xiao Meng, was rebellious and seldom spoke to his father.

Lao Meng seemed to be in a good mood today. He asked the nanny to cook two more dishes and also brought out his treasured wine.

"Boy, you have grown up too. Let me have a drink with you today." Lao Meng stopped Xiao Meng who was about to leave and said to his wife:

"Will you drink with me today too?"

Xiaomeng was a little confused and asked: "You have finally decided to divorce. Is today's meal a break-up dinner?"

"You bastard, what nonsense are you talking about? Your father and I will never divorce." Meng Tai rolled his eyes at his son, and then said to Lao Meng, "Why did you come back so early today? Are you not busy with the company?"

Lao Meng put the wine on the dining table and said with a smile: "It's rare that I have free time today. I come back to have a meal with you. Why don't you welcome me?"

Montague smiled and said: "The company has a new shareholder recently, shouldn't you be very busy?"

Lao Meng immediately said with a straight face: "Are those relatives of yours coming here to gossip again?"

Mr. Meng shook his head and said: "No, no, they just care about the company. After all, no one knows what to do if an outsider is parachuted into the board of directors."

"What do you know about the company's affairs?" Lao Meng complained unhappily.

When Xiaomeng heard his father complaining about his mother, he immediately quit.

"How could my mother not understand? Didn't you guys work together to create this company? Don't forget, half of your property belongs to my mother!"

Displeasure flashed across Lao Meng's face, and he shouted angrily: "Do you have any right to speak here? What do you know about company management? After graduating from college, you just play around all day long and don't even have a serious job."

Xiao Meng was not convinced and wanted to argue with his father. Mrs. Meng stood up and said, "Xiao Meng, why are you talking to your dad?"

"Mom, I just can't stand it, he looks down on you so much." Xiao Meng said unconvinced.

"He is your father." Meng Tai said angrily: "How can a son talk to his father like this? Why don't you apologize quickly?"

"I'm not apologizing." Xiao Meng yelled, ran out of the way, and ran away.

Montague shouted from behind, wanting to keep his son.

"If you let him go, why don't you come back when you have no money?" Lao Meng grabbed his wife and shouted.

Xiao Meng heard his father's words and ran three points faster.

"You two, father and son, why can't you talk to each other well?" Mrs. Meng complained to her husband.

"This son has been taught badly by you. A person in his twenties spends all day doing nothing but doing nothing. At his age, I made my first business," Lao Meng said angrily.

Mrs. Meng said: "My son is already very sensible, but look at the children of your old friends who don't engage in eating, drinking, prostitution and gambling. Although our son is a bit idle, he has not contracted any bad habits."

Lao Meng had nothing to say in reply.

At this time, the housekeeper and nanny suddenly came over.

"Sir, there is a lady named Su Mingyu outside who wants to see you."

Meng Tai frowned. She naturally knew her husband's apprentice, but Su Mingyu had never been to her house.

In fact, over the years, she had always suspected that the relationship between Su Mingyu and her husband was not as simple as a master-disciple relationship.

Mainly because Lao Meng was too kind to Su Mingyu, better than his own son, so Mrs. Meng couldn't help but doubt it.

"Why did Mingyu come here?" Lao Meng also frowned and said to the housekeeper: "Invite people in and prepare an extra set of bowls and chopsticks."

Soon Su Mingyu was brought into the restaurant, and then politely greeted Mrs. Meng.

"Mingyu, you are becoming more and more capable." Mengtai noticed that Su Mingyu's face looked a little bad today, and his greeting was also very reluctant.

"Master, I came to see you for something." Su Mingyu glanced at Mrs. Meng, and it was obvious that she wanted to talk in private.

"Let's go into the study." Lao Meng said, and the two of them walked into the study.

Seeing Lao Meng and Su Mingyu leaving, a light of unknown meaning flashed in Meng Tai's eyes.

After entering the study, Lao Meng closed the door, and Su Mingyu couldn't wait to take out a document and asked:

"Master, the financial director is secretly transferring the company's assets. Do you know about this?"

Lao Meng was shocked at first, but quickly calmed down.

"Are you mistaken? How could Director Du do this?"

Su Mingyu handed the report to Lao Meng and said, "I have found the evidence and contacted Director Du. He said this was authorized by you."

Lao Meng took the report and took out his reading glasses to read it. He looked at it very seriously, and Su Mingyu couldn't see any flaws.

Ten minutes later, Lao Meng closed the report and asked, "Where did you get this?"

"When my second brother was auditing the company's accounts, he discovered that there were problems with the whereabouts of some money. Later, he also found out that Director Du was secretly transferring the company's assets into a small company called Zuxun Trading."

Lao Meng said: "I know the company Zuxun. It is one of our suppliers, Zhongcheng. Is that money a payment for goods?"

Su Mingyu shook his head and said: "Master, I am in charge of the company's sales. Although I am not proficient in finance, I can't hide the business matters from me. The goods supplied to us by Zuxun are less than 10 million a year, but the money flowing into Zuxun

, has exceeded 200 million!”

Lao Meng's face darkened. He didn't expect that Su Mingyu had found out so many things.

"Does your elder brother know?" Lao Meng asked as he put away his reading glasses.

"I haven't told my brother yet, I want to hear Master's explanation!" Su Mingyu asked sadly.

Lao Meng sighed and said, "Yes, I directed Director Du to transfer the money to the Clan Patrol."

Su Mingyu said in confusion: "Master, you are committing a crime."

Lao Meng sighed: "I have no choice. You also know that in order to deal with my wife's relatives, I had to pretend to be sick. But in order to prevent the company from being swallowed up, I had no choice but to take this trick and transfer the money from the company's account."

Transfer to clan patrol first, just in case."

Su Mingyu closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and said, "But since my eldest brother became a shareholder in Zhongcheng, you still haven't stopped."

This chapter is not finished yet, please click on the next page to continue reading the exciting content! Lao Meng explained: "I was worried that the people on the board of directors would embezzle your eldest brother's investment funds."

Su Mingyu opened her eyes in pain and said, "Master, do you think I am a three-year-old child? Do you think I will believe such a lame reason?"

Lao Meng's face darkened and he said, "Mingyu, what do you want to do? Report me?"

Su Mingyu said: "If you return the money, I will pretend that it didn't happen. If I don't see the money within three days, I will convene a board of directors and make what you have done public."

After saying that, Su Mingyu slammed the door and left, leaving Lao Meng alone with a gloomy and ugly face.

A few minutes later, Mrs. Meng walked into the study and curiously asked her husband: "What happened to Mingyu? He left angrily without even saying hello?"

Lao Meng said impatiently: "You should stop meddling in my affairs."

Mrs. Meng was so reprimanded that she did not dare to speak, and Lao Meng was not in the mood to eat, so he directly called the driver and left home, not knowing where he went.

After Lao Meng left, Mrs. Meng came to the desk and took out a recording pen hidden underneath.

Meng Tai put the recorder away, took out the phone and dialed a number.

"Mt. Meng, what do you think of my proposal?" Wang Gang's voice came from the phone.

"Mr. Su, your sister just came to see my husband. They seemed to have a very unpleasant conversation." Meng Tai said, changing her previous submissive attitude in front of her husband.

"My sister is a bit impatient, but I think you should believe that your husband is transferring assets!" Wang Gang said.

"What exactly do you want to do?" Montague frowned.

"I just want to tell Mrs. Meng that what your husband is transferring now is not only the company's assets, but also your husband and wife's joint property." Wang Gang said with a smile:

"If you and your wife get divorced now, you will find that Mr. Meng has nothing in his name except the house where you live, and the company is just an empty shell now."

Mengtai said gloomily: "My husband will never divorce me."

Wang Gang asked back: "You are really so confident. How long has it been since you and Mr. Meng have eaten together and slept in the same bed together? How can you be sure that he doesn't have a woman outside?"

Mrs. Meng hurriedly shouted: "We still have children, and he will not divorce me for the sake of the children."

"Haha." Wang Gang asked: "Do you believe this? You should be the person who knows your husband best in this world. Do you think he will give up his career for love?"

"Not long ago, your husband took action against your natal family and drove them all out of the company. This was actually a signal, but you just didn't want to admit it."

Mrs. Meng felt a little panicked when she heard this.

"What should I do?" Meng Tao Liu Shen Wuzhu asked.

"As a woman, you can live without a husband, but you cannot live without children. For the sake of your children, you should fight for your own share." Wang Gang's words were full of temptation.

Montague seemed to see a glimmer of light in the darkness!
