Chapter 4 Plague Warlock

The five people returned to the square.

The injured and captured cultists, as well as the street people participating in the cult's sacrifices, were all detained.

The two warlocks on the stake escaped death and were rescued.

Pamela opened the storage bag and took out two bottles of healing potion.

After taking the medicine, both of them looked better.

These two warlocks are also students of the Elements Branch, and can be regarded as Pamela's classmates.

The boy's name is Locke, an earth elemental warlock.

The girl’s name is Jenny, a water elemental magician.

The cultivation realm of both of them is at the late stage of Level 1.

In the last investigation team that came to Magic Stone Island, they were the strongest and the only survivors.

Allen escorted Locke and Jenny to recuperate in a nearby residence.

The other teammates stayed in the square to discuss how to deal with plague patients and captured cultists.

Pamela is too lazy to bother.

Her handling method is simple and crude.

"It is too troublesome to treat plague patients alone!"

"Instead of letting them stay at home and infect more healthy people, it is better to isolate them in a centralized manner and fend for themselves."

"Cultists will all be executed, and the evil god they worship will also be weakened!"

"It doesn't matter whether they are true believers or false believers. All those who participate in cult activities will be killed to save trouble."

Angel opposes the indiscriminate killing of innocent people.

Helpless, Andy and Duke both supported Pamela's approach and cut the mess quickly.

Clean up this mess as soon as possible, continue to hunt down the animal worshipers, and destroy the cult headquarters on the island.

No time to waste time here!

When Allen came back, he heard his teammates arguing and said nothing.

Even if he vocally supports Angel, it will be useless.

After all, they are in the minority.

In the square, a young woman held a baby and knelt down to beg for mercy.

The woman cried and said that she just ran out with the crowd and watched the fun.

He was inexplicably involved in this controversy and was arrested as a member of a cult.

Although she repeatedly swore that she was not a believer in the god of plague, Pamela remained unmoved.

"It is understandable that someone who has contracted the plague would come out to seek treatment from a cultist."

"You are not sick at all, but you ran out in the middle of the night and participated in cult activities..."

"You say you are not a cultist, who believes you?"

"When things got serious and I was arrested, I was scared and cried."

"Why are you here so early?"

"How dare you pretend to be pitiful and think I'm a fool?!"

Pamela took a step forward, grabbed her hair with her left hand, and forced her to raise her face, exposing her fair neck.

He drew the sword with his right hand, swung it suddenly, and cut the woman's throat!

A sleeping baby in swaddling clothes...

Her young face was stained red by the blood spurting from her mother's neck.

I suddenly woke up and cried...

Pamela sheathed her sword with a sneer on her lips.

"Come on, someone! Test the bloodline of this little thing!"

"Testing the warlock's bloodline, there is also the value of adoption."

"If there is no warlock blood..."

"You figure it out yourself!"

……

The corpses of giant rats and cultists were piled in the square.

Just use the ready-made pyre and lamp oil and burn it.

After handling the matters at the dock, Pamela led the team to leave.

In the square, the fire is still burning.

As the night gets darker, the firelight dims.

A sudden scream came from a nearby residence.

Four ferocious giant rats came flying through the alleyway.

Not long after, everyone gathered in the square, stood up and transformed into human form.

Four plague warlocks with rat-human blood.

Three men and one woman, all wearing black cloaks.

The hood is pushed down very low, covering most of the face.

The four of them stood quietly in front of the fire without saying a word.

Seems to be waiting for something.

Another moment passed.

Across the street, on the roof, there was slight movement.

The four plague warlocks turned their heads together.

Eight eyes, focused on the roof.

A spider as big as a round table, dragging a silver thread.

He is flying over the roof and climbing over the walls.

The giant spider jumped up, stretched out its eight claws, and landed lightly on the square.

The huge and ferocious body gradually becomes slimmer.

The four spider legs shrink and disappear.

Under the gaze of everyone, she transformed into a sorceress with a hot figure and a curvy figure.

Wearing the same cloak, but it's sky blue.

"Are you Spanner?"

A plague warlock looked at Spider-Woman vigilantly.

The blue-robed sorceress nodded lightly: "This is our first time cooperating with you. Can you introduce yourselves?"

Four plague warlocks looked at each other.

"Okay!" It was the Plague Warlock who spoke first, "My name is Jamie, early stage of the second level."

"Sarah, she is also in the early stage of the second level." The black-robed sorceress continued.

"Moss, late first order."

"Rhett, your level is the same as Moss!" A young man's voice came from under the black robe, "Spanner, it's your turn!"

"Later second level." The blue-robed female sorcerer replied calmly.

"Wow!" Moss whistled exaggeratedly, "You are the strongest! You have the final say on what to do next!"

Spanner smiled softly and then asked: "Why hasn't the contact person installed by the cult at the dock shown up yet?"

"Are you asking Marin? I'm afraid he is already dead." Sarah sighed, "It was Marin's turn to preside over the sacrament tonight. The ceremony was sabotaged by spies sent by the Warlock Academy. He is also in danger."<

/p>

"Is the statue okay?"

"This is also what we are worried about. Let's go and have a look together. I hope it's okay."

One blue, four black, five warlocks, chatting and walking.

Arrive at the dock warehouse soon.

I saw the open iron door and the burnt rat corpses everywhere.

The five people looked at each other and looked at each other, and they all had a premonition that something bad was going to happen!

I hurried down the stairs and walked into the underground temple.

"Damn it! The statue is indeed gone!"

Sarah stood in front of the empty stone niche, stamping her feet and cursing.

"Where is Marin?" Jamie followed up and asked.

Sarah knelt down and whistled.

"Zhizhi! Zhizhi!"

A mouse responded to Sarah's call and got out of the hole in the wall.

The mouse jumped into her palm, twitching its beard and squeaking.

Sarah nodded slightly, thoughtfully.

Warlocks who awaken the rat blood can communicate spiritually with rat creatures.

Through telepathy, Sarah learned about this mouse and what she saw and heard tonight.

"Marin is dead!"

Sarah put down the mouse and stood up to face her companions.

"Killed by a very tall warlock!"

"At the last moment, Marin activated the forbidden technique, split into a group of rats, and fought to the death..."

"What a pity, the enemy is too strong!"

"In the end, Marin didn't even catch a single person to support him."

"Marin is just a senior apprentice. The strong man in his eyes... I'm afraid it's not small." Moss smiled disapprovingly, "What does the person who killed him look like?"

"I don't know! A mouse is a mouse after all, and its intelligence is too low to accurately describe a person's appearance!" Sarah replied angrily, "Anyway... that person is just very tall and strong!"

"Let Spanna answer this question."

Jamie turned to look at the blue-robed sorceress.

"After all, she has been an undercover agent in the Warlock Academy for so long, so she must know the details of the second investigation team better than we do."

Spanner nodded and said in a deep voice: "This investigation team includes five people. The strongest ones are two elemental warlocks, both of whom are in the early stage of the second level..."

After listening to her give an overview of the five people, Jamie then asked: "Of these five people, whose figure is most consistent with the murderer who killed Marin and stole the statue?"

Spanner groaned and said slowly: "The tallest and strongest one...is undoubtedly Ellen Panthers."

"However, among the five, he has the worst qualifications and pedigree, and logically speaking, his strength is also the lowest."

"Marin is a high-level apprentice after all. Especially when a forbidden spell breaks out, he will not be able to escape unscathed."

"Besides, Allen's status in the team is not high. Even if he takes the statue, he is not qualified to monopolize it."

"When we pursue the idol, we can eliminate Allen's suspicion and focus on Pamela and Andy."

"Wait!"

Moss interrupted Spanna's words, and there was a hint of cynicism in his laughter.

"Hehehe...Spanner, you were too hasty in ruling out the suspicion!"

"Even if Allen didn't take the idol, at least he is the most suspected of killing Marin!"

"Marin, that's my junior brother, my beloved relative and friend! His death cannot be in vain, I have to avenge him!"

"Haha..." Spanner sneered back, "I am only responsible for providing information. As for who you seek revenge on, it is none of my business."

"Don't forget, in addition to these five people, there are also living sacrifices that were taken away." Rhett took over, "How strong are they?"

"The elemental sorcerers of the late first level are pretty good," Sarah said.

"Have those two sacrifices been infected with the lycanthropy virus?" Jamie asked lightly, stroking his mustache.

"Brother Jamie, what do you mean...?"

"Haha, in two days, it will be the night of the full moon." Jamie sneered, "Maybe we can take advantage of the good time and do something to give those young ladies from aristocratic families a little surprise."

"Oh! I understand! You are indeed the resourceful Senior Brother Jamie! He has a clever mind!"

"Haha...just wait and see the good show!"

The plague warlocks looked at each other and smiled.
