Chapter 46 The auditorium exploded

On Saturday morning, the first-year students of Gryffindor noticed that Charles' face was gloomier than yesterday.

Harry was forcing himself to eat as much breakfast as possible, and said to Charles confidently: "There is a Quidditch match today, just watch me win."

Charles said absently: "Come on...be careful not to mess up your steps, keep an eye on the opponent's movements, and be careful of false moves..."

Harry said with a black line: "This is a Quidditch match, not a boxing match!"

Charles still looked the same and said to him: "Oh...be careful not to fall off the broom."

Harry was speechless and asked him with questions in his head: "What's wrong with you? Are you broken in love?"

Charles turned his head and looked at this guy coldly. Harry was so frightened that he ran to the other end of the long table with his half-eaten breakfast.

另一边的赫敏不怕他揍自己,同样好奇地问他:“你难道真的失恋了?”

Charles said calmly: "I will write to Mr. Granger and say that you eat a lot of sugar every day."

Hermione was instantly frightened, let alone her daughter. When Dumbledore came to the house to explain Hogwarts, he took out a few magic candies and said that he often ate them. As a result, his father tricked him into taking him to the dental treatment bed for half an hour of examination.
After breakfast, Charles walked through the hoarfrost on the grass to the second greenhouse.

Professor Sprout was about to move the flower pots that had been burned yesterday and had been frozen all night back to the greenhouse. When he saw Charles coming over, he asked in surprise: "Aren't you going to watch the Quidditch match?"

Today is the game between Gryffindor and Slytherin, and students from both houses went to watch the game.

Charles just shook his head and helped the professor make the flowerpot grow legs and walk back into the greenhouse. This was much easier than making the pineapple tap dance.

It’s just that the weather is too cold, and the legs growing out of the flower pots are shaking.

"Professor," Charles asked suddenly, "could someone throw those bugs into the greenhouse on purpose?"

Professor Sprout frowned and said: "No one can be so hateful, right? If that were the case, I would be tied to the Whomping Willow!"

Charles had no evidence, just a guess. Without saying anything else, he helped move the dragon manure compost back after moving the flowerpots.

The Quidditch pitch is not far from the greenhouse. You can clearly hear the commentary and cheers coming from the field, and you can also see Harry almost being thrown down by the violent flying broomstick at high altitude.

Charles didn't realize what happened on the Quidditch pitch, but made an unexpected discovery outside the greenhouse.

"Professor!" he shouted, "come on, come on!"

Professor Sprout immediately rushed over, looked in the direction that Charles pointed, and found that there were traces of being stepped on among the cheap medicinal herbs grown in the open space next to the greenhouse.

These medicinal herbs are calf-high and have dried up. They will not grow green buds until next year. At this time, they were trampled all the way from the roadside to the greenhouse.

Professor Sprout went over to check and found that the glass of the greenhouse at that location had been removed and was just installed on top.

"Did someone really throw bugs in there?" Professor Sprout's eyes became sharp, "Or maybe they stole the herbs and secretly prepared some magic potion themselves."

Charles thought for a while and said to the professor: "I have an idea. The herbs in the greenhouse have been sprayed with Muggle pesticides a few days ago. If someone secretly uses them to make potions, they will be chronically poisoned. It will be difficult to detect at first.

He will die suddenly in a month."

If you just steal the herbs, it's fine. If you deliberately throw bugs to spread them, that person will be miserable.

At this time, there was a burst of exclamation from the Quidditch stadium, and everyone saw Harry being thrown by the broomstick several times in the sky and almost falling.

In the Gryffindor auditorium, Hermione took Hagrid's telescope and looked for Snape in the stands.

Sure enough, she saw Snape staring at Harry in the sky and mumbling something.

"It's indeed Snape, look." Hermione angrily pushed the telescope to Ron.

Simo on the side couldn't hear clearly and asked curiously: "What's going on?"

Harry didn't tell too many people about the Sorcerer's Stone and Snape. Seamus had a lot of friends now and didn't often hang out with the three of them. Charles was busy with his own affairs, so naturally he never heard of it.

Hermione didn't have time to explain to him, so she turned and left the stands.

In the sky, Fred and George wanted to catch Harry, but as soon as they approached, Nimbus 2000 quickly rose a lot, and the two brothers could only prepare to catch Harry who fell down.

Hermione finally walked to the back of the stand where Snape was, got under the stand, and came to the back of Snape's position. Above her head was Quirrell's feet.

She took out her wand, thought for a while, then took out a lipstick, opened the inner and outer covers, poured a little potion on Snape's robe, then pointed the wand at the lower edge of the robe and recited a spell.

Blue flames jumped out from the top of the wand and lit the robe on fire.

Hermione lit the fire and ran immediately. After about half a minute, when she was running away, she suddenly heard a loud noise from behind.

Through the telescope, Ron was stunned to see that Snape seemed to have been kicked hard in the butt by someone. He flew up and almost fell into the stadium and hung on the railing.

Quirrell, who was behind Snape, was not much better. He seemed to have received an uppercut, and his whole body flew backwards. Finally, the back of his head hit the flagpole hard, and he did not fly out of the stadium.

The students next to him were also unlucky. A senior boy also flew up and knocked Malfoy unconscious.

The auditorium suddenly became a mess, and Snape was pulled down from the railing. His originally cold face was now full of confusion.

At this time, Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick rushed to the scene of the crime and breathed a sigh of relief when they saw that Snape was okay.

They directed the students to carry out the knocked-out students and had them sent to the school doctor's office along with other injured students.

Quirrell didn't wait for the students to come to help him and ran away.

Harry in the sky found that his broomstick returned to normal and hurriedly returned to the game.

In the end, Harry caught the Golden Snitch, Gryffindor won the game, and the cheers of Gryffindor students could be heard in the greenhouse.

That night, Charles and Seamus were called to the principal's office. One of them had explosive liquid potion in hand, and the other had a first-class explosive talent, so Snape soon suspected them.

Seamus said innocently: "I was in the stands at the time, and I saw Harry was about to fall. He was so nervous that he and Dean hugged each other."

He vaguely felt that this matter was related to Hermione, so when he mentioned the witnesses, he only mentioned Dean who was sitting on the other side, and Lavender and Parvati who were sitting in front and did not see Hermione leave.

Dumbledore called the witness to confirm again and again that Seamus was indeed in the Gryffindor auditorium at that time, and he was so nervous that he accidentally kicked Parvati in the back.

It was simple for Charles. Professor Sprout testified that he was in the greenhouse with him at the time.

This matter just went unsolved and became an unsolved case.

Not long after, there were rumors in Hogwarts that Professor Snape had developed a potion that could make people fly into the sky after taking a sip and farting. He wanted to fly into the air to save Harry, but he didn't get the angle right.

When Charles was about to return to the common room, Harry, Ron, and Hermione stopped him in the corridor and took him to an abandoned classroom.
