Chapter 78 Destroy the Voldemort Bat

There was a strong wind last night, and soon it started to rain heavily. It was a little colder than yesterday.

When the old man customized his broomstick, he very thoughtfully asked the manufacturer to add a weatherproof function, so that he would be completely dry when he came to the hot cave.

This cave is located halfway up the mountain. It is more than 20 meters wide and about 10 meters high. Rainwater cannot enter.

There are several long stones that are mostly buried in the grass outside the entrance of the cave. They are probably the remains of stone gate pillars. I don’t know what they were used for in the past.

The cave was dark, without a trace of light. Heat kept coming out, carrying a rotten smell, and the temperature was more than 20 degrees Celsius.

Charles thought to himself that the Scottish Highlands have complex terrain, volcanoes, and many hot springs. It must be related to these.

He had a guess in his mind that the bats live in Africa and would not go all the way to this cold and freezing place. Maybe someone brought them here and raised them specifically in this place with high temperatures.

It’s just that the heavy rain washed away the surrounding traces, and no relevant clues were found.

"The true form appears!"

Charles stood at the entrance of the cave and used magic spells to look for clues, but there was no movement at all.

It was time to enter the hole next, so he was very energetic.

Charles put on his gloves and took out a rat caught last night from the bag.

The rat was hit with a sleeping spell before going into the bag and is still snoring.

There was still a lot of corrosive potion that Neville had gotten when he failed to make the potion. Charles poured some into the small glass bottles that were originally intended to contain the explosive liquid, and then tied a few bottles to Rattus.

Finally, use a syringe to pour some chili oil into its anus, set the direction, and cast a little magic spell with a method sound to wake it up.

Shushu screamed and rushed into the hot cave. After more than a minute, the hissing and lung-splitting sound could still be vaguely heard, and finally it stopped suddenly.

After about half a minute, there was another dull collision sound in the cave, as if something huge was rolling.

Charles nodded, raised his wand and began to draw circles, recalling happy things in his mind.

"Calling the gods to protect you!"

A silver-white deep-sea ship girl appeared. She had two horns on her head, one long and one short. The two monster-like ship suits on her sides revealed sharp fangs, and the sword-like horns on her neck... were detachable.

In hand.

If it were other ship girls, Charles wouldn't have the heart to let them do a lot of things, but it's different with Zi Baicai, a model worker. Let's go to work.

The silvery purple cabbage floated into the hot hole and illuminated the surrounding area. Charles followed cautiously.

He was a little worried, so he took out a few magic lanterns, lit them and floated them around, and then cast an iron armor spell on himself, for fear that a goblin would jump out of the dark and slap him on the back of the head.

The entrance of the hot cave gradually narrowed to a few meters. The top of the channel was arc-shaped and seemed to be dug manually. Many processed stones were buried by the soil of unknown ages, with only a corner exposed.

Now is not the time for archeology. Charles did not dig out stones. He focused on his surroundings and "revealed his original shape" every five steps.

This passage goes up. After more than fifty meters, a hall the size of two or three basketball courts appears in front of you.

It was empty here, and there were traces of something rolling on the ground near the passage. The fragments of the glass bottle that had just contained the corrosive agent glistened in the light of the purple cabbage.

Charles did not go in rashly, but stood at the entrance of the passage, letting Zi Baicai search for the Voldemort bats inside, and used a magic lantern to illuminate the surrounding space.

A silver-white human figure floats back and forth in the dark space. This person has horns on his head and is followed by two "monsters". This scene looks quite scary.

When Purple Cabbage approached a corner, there was a sudden sound in the darkness of the corner. Where the hazy light shone, a huge black image could be vaguely seen. It was burned by fire and then fled to other places.

There was some wind noise from the place where Voldemort passed by. Charles raised his wand, the sound was getting closer to him, and he was ready to kill Avada at any time.

The Voldemort seemed to be afraid of light. The light from the magic lantern near the entrance of the passage made it change directions and escape, with Purple Cabbage following closely behind.

Charles immediately waved his wand, and balls of blue flames shot out from the top of the wand. The intense light from the flames illuminated a large space and caused the temperature in the hall to rise rapidly.

The blue flames gradually occupied the entire hall, and the space for the Voldemort Bat to run became smaller and smaller, until it was finally blocked behind the wall opposite the passage.

What happened next made Charles feel a little sympathetic to the Voldemort Bat. The monsters on both sides of Purple Cabbage bit it tightly, and her fists fell like raindrops.

The voluptuous bat kept struggling, and even tried to wrap up the purple cabbage and suffocate it to see who could outlast the other.

But it was of no use. I saw the two monsters next to Zi Baicai shaking violently like shaking sheets, and the crouching bat was shaken out into a sine function, and then smashed against the wall with all its strength.

After two minutes, the crouching bat was finally killed.

Charles went over to put the body of the Voldemort Bat in the bag and focused on the area on the wall that had just been smashed.

A piece of the dust here has been smashed away, exposing the stone bricks, which are warm to the touch, close to 40 degrees Celsius.

Charles looked around, and under the firelight he could see some holes the size of doorways.

He took Purple Cabbage and carefully looked over. Among the eighteen holes here, the first seventeen were partially collapsed. The ones that didn't collapse looked like human rooms. There was nothing inside, and the walls were very hot.<

/p>

The eighteenth hole was in the middle. Charles touched the wall. It was hot up and down, but the temperature in front was a little lower.

He thought for a moment and asked Zi Baicai to clean the wall in front of him.

It turned out that behind the soil was a pile of fallen stones, which should be a collapsed passage.

So Zibaicai showed her true role as a model worker and began to move gravel and soil to the hall outside, while Charles drank a bottle of happy water to quench his thirst.

The temperature here is too high and a bit stuffy. I used a cleaning spell to clean up the sweat on my body.

In the afternoon, the passage finally opened, and a very unpleasant smell came out.

Charles ran outside. God knows how long it had been sealed inside, and whether there would be any toxic or harmful gases.

There is no rush to explore further, at least wait until there is fresh air inside.

At this time, there was a sound of horse hooves trampling on the mud, and Bain, Ronan and other centaurs rushed to the cave entrance despite the rain.

Before Charles asked what was going on, Bain immediately ran to him and breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that he was safe and sound.

"It's great that you're fine." Bain said, "Seeing that you haven't come back for so long, we thought something happened to you."

Ronan also came over, looked at him carefully and asked: "Are you not injured?"

Charles scratched his head in embarrassment. He was busy letting purple cabbage clean the passage and forgot about the time.

He released the body of the Voldemort Bat and told everyone: "I'm fine. I destroyed the Voldemort Bat. There is a passage in the hot cave that I opened. You'd better not go in. It may be dangerous."

Under the dim sunlight, you can see that the bat on the ground looks like a ray. The ground is similar to a black carpet, and the widest part is nearly 10 meters.

Not only have centaurs never seen this magical animal before, but Newt Scamander, who came over after receiving the news that night, saw it in person for the first time.
