218 Yi Jin Jing

Meng Xiuyuan had never thought about these things in detail before this incident.

Traveling through two lifetimes, starting from the time when I descended Wudang Mountain and saw the first bandit who robbed civilian girls, he has killed countless people.

But if we ask ourselves, Meng Xiuyuan believed that the person he killed was either a treacherous and evil person, or an enemy who wanted to kill him, and he had never been confused.

Therefore, even though his hands were full of blood, he never suffered from it.

After all, although he dare not say that he is a great knight or a good person, in this world where moral standards are generally low, Meng Xiuyuan thinks that what he has done is pretty good.

We are not saints, so there is no need to be too harsh on ourselves.

But after a series of events in recent days, with conflicts erupting one after another, Meng Xiuyuan discovered that he had unintentionally and indirectly hurt many innocent people.

Just when he was thinking about whether his behavior could be improved, Xu Zhu's appearance touched his heart.

Seeing the virtuous people thinking about each other, Meng Xiuyuan thought for a moment and then asked Xu Zhu:

"Little Master Xu Zhu, I want to ask you.

What would you do if you met a treacherous and evil person who had harmed many innocent people?"

He asked this mostly out of curiosity, just for reference, but he didn't say he was serious.

However, Xu Zhu was stunned by this sudden question and stood there for a long time before replying to Meng Xiuyuan:

"Monks are merciful. When a young monk encounters a bad person, he should stop him from continuing to do evil.

It’s just that the young monk is not good at martial arts and is far inferior to Mr. Meng. I’m afraid..."

"Just pretend that your martial arts skills are the same as mine." Meng Xiuyuan smiled helplessly when he heard this and interrupted.

"Ah... the young monk has never dared to think of such a good thing."

When Xu Zhu heard what Meng Xiuyuan said, he rubbed his head in embarrassment and giggled for a while, then he spoke again:

"If I really had Master Meng's martial arts skills, I would certainly be able to subdue that evil man.

Then...then I will use Buddhism to save him and make him correct his evil ways.

When his faith changes, let him do more good deeds to atone for the evil deeds he has committed in the past."

Obviously, Xu Zhu had never thought about such a wild thing, so he stumbled when he answered, and what he said were the sincere words that immediately came to his mind.

When Meng Xiuyuan heard the sound, he couldn't help but shook his head and said to Xu Zhu:

"How can it be so easy to convert a treacherous and evil person?

What should you do if he just pretends to deceive you and make you think that he has changed his ways, but when you don't notice, he starts harming others again?

Under such circumstances, didn’t you also have a hand in condoning the sins he committed later?”

"This..." Xu Zhu was stunned again by Meng Xiuyuan's question and felt quite embarrassed. He raised his head and glanced at Meng Xiuyuan and hesitated:

"Then according to what the young master thinks, should all such sinners be killed?

But killing to stop killing and causing more injustice is not the answer after all..."

Having said this, Xu Zhu suddenly felt a surge of heat in his heart and couldn't help but said to Meng Xiuyuan:

"Mr. Meng, I thought of it.

When encountering such a treacherous and evil person, only great wisdom and perseverance can save him.

As long as the Buddha has the ambition to sacrifice his life to feed tigers and cut his flesh to feed eagles, over time, no matter what kind of evil people they are, they can be influenced by Buddhism..."

Meng Xiuyuan was stunned for a moment when he heard this, then he laughed, shook his head, and did not answer Xu Zhu again.

Although this young master has a high level, he really can't learn it.

In the next few days, Meng Xiuyuan and Xu Zhu lived together in this small village.

It wasn't that there was any special reason at first, it was just that Xu Zhu had just been kicked out of the temple and he didn't know where to settle down for a while, so Meng Xiuyuan took him in for the time being.

But later, things changed suddenly.

On this day, Xu Zhu bid farewell to Meng Xiuyuan, saying that he had been bothering Meng Xiuyuan for a long time and was really embarrassed to stay any longer.

When Meng Xiuyuan heard this, he didn't hold back, he just took out the "Shen Zu Jing", soaked it in water and handed it to Xu Zhu to look at, hoping that he would also learn the skills involved.

After all, this little monk is simple-minded and kind-hearted. He may encounter a lot of troubles if he travels alone. If he doesn't have good martial arts, it will be too dangerous.

There are not many good people in this world, and Meng Xiuyuan doesn't want to see the few remaining people suffer disaster.

Meng Xiuyuan lied to Xu Zhu, saying that this was just a common Daoyin technique to strengthen the body, and he was asked to learn it because he was a little weak, so he did not refuse.

Unexpectedly, after Xu Zhu briefly learned a few weird movements in the "Shen Zu Jing", he was quickly attracted by the scriptures in this book unconsciously:

"'Everything has no birth, nor does it have any cause or condition. In the process of its birth and death, the thought of cause and condition arises'...

Mr. Meng, what kind of Buddhist scripture is this? Why have I never seen it before?

Also, your picture seems to have nothing to do with the scriptures in the book, right?"

Meng Xiuyuan was greatly surprised when he heard this and asked Xu Zhu:

"Little Master Xu Zhu, can you actually understand the Sanskrit in this book?"

He knew that what Xu Zhu was reciting just now should be the content of the Sanskrit version of the Yi Jin Jing.

Xu Zhu couldn't help feeling a little shy when he heard the exclamation and praise in Meng Xiuyuan's words, he touched his head and nodded:

"When I was in the temple, I saw that some ancient scriptures in the Sutra Pavilion were written in Sanskrit and had no Chinese translations, so I asked the lecturer at Bodhidharma Hall for advice on the contents.

It's just that my qualifications are dull and I always learn very slowly, which makes my uncle a little impatient.

Later, he simply asked me to learn how to read Sanskrit..."

Meng Xiuyuan was even more surprised when he heard this, and thought that although Xu Zhu looked a little dazed, it turned out that he had hidden wisdom in his heart.

Faced with the translation that came to his door, Meng Xiuyuan never let go. He immediately asked Xu Zhu to translate the Sanskrit version of "Yi Jin Jing" from beginning to end.

Although Xu Zhu was modest and said something like "The young monk is stupid, I'm afraid the translation may not be true", he still did not refuse in the end.

So, the two of them stayed in this small village for a while longer, studying the contents of the "Yi Jin Jing" together.

This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading! From this moment on, Meng Xiuyuan gradually realized that he had underestimated this "Yi Jin Jing" before.

The reason why I use the word "research" is because it is really not easy to interpret the "Yi Jin Jing".

Investigating the reason, we still have to talk about the origin of Shaolin's "Yi Jin Jing".

According to legend, Patriarch Bodhidharma left this sutra on the stone wall nine years before his death. After his disciple, Master Huike, obtained the sutra, he studied it painstakingly for twenty years, but found nothing.

It was not until later that Master Huike met a young man who was proficient in martial arts on the Chang'an Road, and they talked for three days and three nights that he finally understood all the martial arts secrets in the "Yi Jin Jing".

That young man was Li Jing, a great hero in the founding of the Tang Dynasty. He later assisted Zuo Taizong in pacifying the Turks, became a general and prime minister, and was given the title of Duke of Wei.

The Chinese version of the "Yi Jin Jing" circulating in the Shaolin Temple at this time was written by Li Jing. The Sanskrit version of the "Yi Jin Sutra" that Meng Xiuyuan and Xu Zhu were holding at this time was the original version left by Bodhidharma.

content.

In comparison, the original version of "Yi Jin Jing" that Meng Xiuyuan and Xu Zhu had at this time was naturally more obscure and difficult to understand, but it was also more profound and profound without losing its original meaning.

Compared with the young Li Jing of that time, Meng Xiuyuan, who had learned countless magical skills in two lives, was no less knowledgeable in martial arts. It stands to reason that interpreting the scriptures should not be a problem.

But the strange thing about the "Yi Jin Jing" is that it is not just a martial arts, but a fusion of Buddhism and martial arts, and they are closely related to each other, regardless of you and me.

This troubled Meng Xiuyuan, who knew nothing about Buddhism, and his research progress was greatly affected.

Fortunately, Xu Zhu devoted himself to Buddhism and had read many Buddhist scriptures in the temple in the past. Although he rated himself as "stupid and dull, unable to be cultivated", perhaps because of his pure mind, he was actually quite enlightened in Buddhism.

In the end, after several days of joint discussion, both of them had gained a lot.

Xu Zhu is relatively straightforward. He is a Shaolin disciple and is born with a Buddhist heart, so it is perfect for him to study the "Yi Jin Jing".

Although his skills were still shallow for a while, he had already laid the foundation for a peerless martial arts.

In comparison, Meng Xiuyuan's original martial arts framework was already set, and it was impossible to make major changes because of the "Yi Jin Jing".

But this doesn't mean that his gains are less than Xu Zhu's.

When kung fu is practiced to the extreme, there are many similarities. After studying this Buddhist highest martial arts classic, Meng Xiuyuan discovered many strange and wonderful ideas, which corroborated with what he had learned in the past.

One of the most important points is that Meng Xiuyuan's "Physical Fitness Technique", which has not been changed for a long time, finally took the opportunity to update the version.

Through the help of the "Sudden Enlightenment Time", Meng Xiuyuan integrated many of the contents of the "Yi Jin Jing" related to body training into his "Physical Strengthening Technique", greatly increasing its effectiveness and making it more than one step stronger.

Although compared to martial arts such as "Golden Bell" and "Iron Shirt", "Yi Jin Jing" is not a martial art that focuses on body training. But the method of body training in it may be more mysterious.

According to the "Yi Jin Jing", the veins of the body are connected to the spirit of the five internal organs. They circulate without being scattered and move continuously. Qi is generated from the inside and blood is moistened from the outside. After practicing it, the foundation of the body will be stable and unparalleled in the world.

After being integrated into the "Physical Fitness Technique", not only are most of the effects of training the human body's fundamentals retained, but also, like a chemical reaction, many of the potentials of the "Physical Fitness Technique" itself are stimulated.

As a result, after Meng Xiuyuan tried to practice this new version of "Physical Fitness Technique", an idea suddenly came to his mind:

To break through the limits of this worldly martial arts, "tempering the body" may also be regarded as a broad road.

If in the future, the Xiaoyao sect's path of absorbing the pure spirit energy of heaven and earth fails, and turning to majoring in the "Physical Fitness Technique", it will also be a good choice for Meng Xiuyuan.

Coupled with "compressed Qi", maybe within a few years, Meng Xiuyuan can transform from the Sword Immortal into the Mang King Kong, and use his bravery to hammer the sweeping monk.

The days when you are addicted to martial arts always pass quickly.

In the blink of an eye, it has been more than a month, and Meng Xiuyuan and Xu Zhu have finally completed the study of all the contents of the "Yi Jin Jing" in their hands, and it is difficult to make new discoveries in a short period of time.

At this point, Meng Xiuyuan originally wanted to practice his "Physical Fitness Technique" for a while to strengthen his body. He just calculated the date, and the wedding date of Princess Yinchuan of Xixia was approaching. If he didn't get up, maybe he would

That's too late.

Although there was a perfect new way, the effort of the Xiaoyao Sect took a lot of effort from Meng Xiuyuan, and he was unwilling to give up just like that.

After all, you still have to give it a try first. If it doesn't work, it's not too late to make other plans.

Before leaving, Xu Zhu sincerely wished Meng Xiuyuan a few words, saying that he hoped Mr. Meng would have a smooth journey and everything would be safe in the future.

Meng Xiuyuan laughed loudly when he heard this, and immediately said the same thing, "I wish little master Xu Zhu to achieve enlightenment as soon as possible." Then he turned into a wisp of breeze and floated away.

The journey to Xixia was relatively smooth and there were no setbacks. Meng Xiuyuan practiced every day and just enjoyed it.

It was not until later when we were approaching Xingzhou, the capital of the Xixia Kingdom, that we met more and more martial arts warriors on the road.

But when I saw that these young heroes were all well-dressed and very particular about their weapons and equipment, it was as if they were attending a competition. People who met on the road met each other, and while teasing each other, they couldn't help but ask about the princess's appearance and her martial arts skills;

If you don't know, you will often glare at the other person and regard the other person as an enemy.

Obviously, the position of the Xixia Prince Consort is really tempting. Thinking that glory and wealth can be easily obtained, many people are willing to try their luck.

Meng Xiuyuan didn't want to get involved, so he took advantage of Qinggong and took a small road to get on his way.

By the time Meng Xiuyuan arrived at Xingzhou, the capital of the Western Xia Kingdom, the day for choosing the son-in-law during the Qingming Festival was approaching. Although Xingzhou was a big city in Xixia, it was far inferior to the famous capitals in the Central Plains. There were countless heroes and heroines from all over the world who came to compete for the prince-in-law.

Yes, several big hotels are already full.

This chapter is not finished yet, please click on the next page to continue reading the exciting content! Meng Xiuyuan was not here to be a consort, so he didn’t think about staying in a hotel, but went straight to the Xixia Palace to find his good senior sister.

Li Qiushui talks.

Unexpectedly, Meng Xiuyuan walked back and forth in the Xixia Palace several times, but did not find his figure.

In the end, he found the palace of the Xixia Crown Princess and found some clues.

In front of Li Qiushui's dressing mirror, Meng Xiuyuan found a delicate envelope that had been laid out for a long time, with the words "Pay tribute to my beloved junior brother Meng Xiuyuan" written in large letters on it.

When he opened it, he found that what was inside was an inn's room number and a marriage proposal document written in Meng Xiuyuan's name.

Obviously, this good senior sister's intention was very clear, she must force Meng Xiuyuan to participate in the election of the prince-in-law.

Meng Xiuyuan didn't know what she was hiding, but he didn't care too much. He would just adapt to the situation when the time comes.

After leaving the palace, Meng Xiuyuan followed the information on the hotel room card to find his accommodation, thinking of taking a rest for the night.

Unexpectedly, as soon as he stepped into the backyard of the inn, he saw Murong Fu and his four ministers.

Mr. Murong may have been seriously injured at this time, and his face was already very pale. When he suddenly saw Meng Xiuyuan appear, his face couldn't help but become even more ugly.

"Mr. Meng...you are also here to propose marriage. Do you want to be Xixia's consort?"

When Murong Fu faced the enemy who killed his father, he still showed no hatred. Instead, he was more concerned about whether Meng Xiuyuan wanted to be the Xixia prince-consort.

I don't know if he was acting out of the city government, or if he was really just thinking about "reviving Dayan" and had forgotten the revenge of his father's murder.

Meng Xiu saw the situation and had no intention of talking to him. He turned around and wanted to go upstairs to rest. But at this moment, several familiar figures walked in from outside the courtyard.

It was Wang Yuyan who had not been seen for many days, followed by the four sisters Mei, Lan, Zhu and Ju.

As soon as Wang Yuyan walked into the courtyard, she first glanced in the direction of Murong Fu.

The two of them looked at each other for a moment. Murong Fu felt a little embarrassed for a moment, frowned and said softly:

"cousin……"

Unexpectedly, Wang Yuyan did not respond. Instead, she looked away, then turned to look at Meng Xiuyuan aside, and walked in front of Murong Fu indifferently.

The next moment, Wang Yuyan came to Meng Xiuyuan, bowed respectfully to him, and said warmly:

"Mr. Meng, you are fine.

Grandma asked me to say hello to you on her behalf."
