Chapter 4 Talisman Seeds

The four characters of ink ball rolling, plucking, growing, cutting and folding are constantly emerging and faintly appearing, revealing a simple meaning.

Xu Dao stared blankly, with thousands of thoughts in his mind.

Suddenly, the ink ball loomed and suddenly collapsed. It was blown by the wind and disappeared into the air, as if it had never appeared before.

When Xu Dao saw this, his eyes were a little anxious. He stretched out his hand to grab the fire, but missed it.

"Hiss!" Xu Dao's fingers were licked by the flames, and pain immediately entered his mind, waking him up from his excitement.

Blinking, Xu Dao confirmed that the ink ball had completely disappeared. He took a deep breath, simply closed his eyes, and began to calm down his mind.

Xu Dao thought silently in his heart: "Yes, the characters condensed in the ink just now are indeed quite similar to the 'talisman' recorded in the Taoist book. I am not mistaken..."

What is "talisman seed"?

There are patterns in the sky and the earth. Taoists observe the heaven and earth, observe the rules, perceive thunder, lightning, wind and rain and other magics. Finally, they copy it and write it down. They can remember it in their minds, write it on paper, and refine it into utensils... Only then did spells, charms, magical utensils and other objects appear.

.

If a Taoist practices a spell to a great level and thoroughly understands the secret of the spell, the spell will condense on its own and a pattern will appear in the mind.

This pattern is called "rune seed", also called "rune seed"!

Once the talisman seeds are condensed, they will be imprinted in the soul of the Taoist for life, producing various wonderful effects.

One is that it allows the Taoist to run spells all the time, instantaneously, without any sluggishness, and at the same time, there will be no additional loss of true energy.

If a Taoist wants to draw a talisman according to this method, the success rate of drawing the talisman can be more than half!

In contrast, Taoists who have not condensed the talismans must first visualize the corresponding spell runes in their minds every time they cast a spell or draw a talisman, and then they can carry their true energy and cast the spell.

This kind of spell-casting process is time-consuming and labor-intensive, and consumes a lot of energy. If the spell runes visualized are wrong, at least the spell will fail, or at worst, the spell will backfire.

If a Taoist's spellcasting is compared to writing.

Performing the technique before the talisman has been condensed is like using a pen to write, which is time-consuming and may cause writing errors.

As for the condensed talisman, it is like using engraving printing, which is fast and convenient, and the two are not the same.

But talisman seeds are rare. To practice each spell to the point where it can condense the talisman seeds not only requires a Taoist to spend a lot of hard work, pondering and practicing day and night, for several years; it also requires a Taoist to be talented and intelligent, and even have a harmonious temperament.

This spell matches.

For example, Xu Dao, after three years of practice, still failed to refine a spell to the level of condensed talisman. His fellow disciples and brothers were almost the same.

The magic that Xu Tao practices is called "Taiyin Moonlight Breathing and Inhalation Method".

This method allows practitioners to activate moonlight at night, swallow it with their mouth and nose, and incorporate it into the body for polishing and digestion, thereby strengthening the true energy and nourishing the soul.

Xu Dao was already familiar with this method, but it was far from being able to condense the talisman seeds. It was only a small success.

Thinking of this, Xu Dao sighed quietly in his heart and thought: "Xu is so persistent that he becomes obsessed and hallucinates?"

The reason why he is obsessed with condensing talisman seeds is because the condensation of talisman seeds is not only related to the casting of spells, but also closely related to practice!

It should be noted that the cultivation of immortality has various realms such as embryonic breathing, refining qi, building foundation, golden elixir, and Yuanying.

Its essence lies in cultivating the true energy, nourishing the soul with the true energy, and then inciting the three souls and seven souls to condense into Yin God, and finally continue to shed Yin and transform into Yang, so that Yin God becomes Yang God, lives forever, and ascends to the sky!

Among them, the fetal breath is the first step and the beginning of entering the Tao. The Taoist cultivates the true energy in the Dantian.

Refining Qi is the second step, and it is also a door to the path of immortality. Only those who pass through this door can truly embark on the path of cultivating immortality, and are called "Taoist disciples".

Those who have not passed this door are just a child on the road to cultivating immortality, just a toddler. They cannot use magic weapons, cast spells externally, and refine elixirs... and their life span cannot reach 150 years.

Known as "Tao Tong".

Xu Dao is now in the fetal breath state and is a Taoist boy.

He has been cultivating his true energy and strengthening his soul for nearly three years. He has been thinking about it day and night to be able to leave his body and truly enter the realm of refining energy!

But to this day, even though he has been able to use his true energy to stir up his soul and transform into a Yin God, he still dare not let the Yin God escape from the Niwan Cave and leave his body.

Because the fetal breath breaks through to refine the Qi, the biggest hurdle is not that the soul condenses into a Yin God, but whether the Yin God can permanently reside outside the physical body after being condensed!

It should be noted that the human soul is extremely fragile and must be protected and nourished by the physical body. Even if the three souls and seven souls are condensed into a Yin Shen with true energy, it is likely that the wind cannot blow it, the rain cannot hit it, and the fire cannot burn it.

If one really leaves the body without caring about it, it is possible that one breath of the physical body can blow away the true energy, causing the Yin Shen to collapse, the soul to fly away, and the Taoist to die.

This is called "the Yin spirit leaves the body and never returns."

If Xu Dao wants the Yin God to not collapse after he leaves his body, either his true energy will continue to grow and grow out in time every time it is consumed, or his true energy will be strong and tenacious, have special effects, and will not be afraid of ordinary people.

of spending time...

In this way, the soul can be tightly protected by the true energy, turn into a Yin spirit and permanently reside outside the body, and then be able to walk freely, withstand the refinement of the essence of the sun and the moon, and breathe in the spiritual energy of heaven and earth. This is called "refining Qi".

And if he can practice the "Taiyin Moonlight Breathing Method" to the great state, he can derive the talisman seeds and plant them in his soul.

When the Yin Shen comes out of the body, the Taiyin Moonlight Breathing and Breathing Method can start to operate on its own, making its true energy endless and preventing the Yin Shen from collapsing.

When Xu Dao thought of this, his heart suddenly felt ripples.

"It is said that there are runes in the world that can be picked directly. When planted in the soul, they become seeds and can cast spells..."

Xu Dao opened his eyes and thought to himself: "Speaking of evil arts such as harvesting, cutting and breaking, how can a natural talisman appear?"

He looked into the fire, and his eyes suddenly jumped.

On the glowing red coals, the talisman paper that was thrown in was still intact, with no sign of burning. Seeing this, Xu Dao quickly pulled it out with a wooden stick.

After pulling it out, he reached out to touch it and found that the talisman paper was only warm. He looked over it several times and still found no damage to the talisman paper.

The only thing that changed was that the small characters originally written on the talisman paper disappeared, completely disappeared, and the entire talisman paper turned into a blank talisman paper.

Xu Dao touched it carefully and found that the talisman paper in his hand was no different from ordinary yellow paper in terms of material, color, luster, and weight.

It is light yellow and slightly rough, far inferior to some high-end talisman papers made of jade, fur, etc.

Seeing this, Xu Dao was not sad but happy, and immediately thought: "The treasure will hide itself!"
