Chapter 82 Getting green plums around the bed

After killing Chen Mu, Xu Dao wrapped up You Bing, and the two left the Baiguguan camp without any danger, and were not overtaken by other Taoist disciples.

This should be because the Taoist disciples of the White Bone Temple in the camp were still cleaning up the invading demons and ghosts, and their energy was distracted. At the same time, they did not know that Xu Dao had taken away the talisman money from the camp.

If any of the above two factors were missing, many Taoists would probably still be hunted down.

The night is dark.

There are no stars at night in Montenegro. The only spots of light that can be seen are all pale green will-o'-wisps and scarlet monster eyes. At the same time, black shadows often flicker in the night, and strange sounds are heard.

After leaving the camp, You Bing clearly showed a vigilant look, and his face was stern, but it was not directed at Xu Dao, but his body was tense, ready to deal with the monsters that would pounce around him at any time.

There are really too many monsters traveling at night, and it is quite dangerous outside the camp. Especially for Taoist disciples in the early stage of Qi refining, if they are not careful, they may die tragically at the hands of monsters, so people cannot help but be vigilant.

You Bing dared to listen to Xu Dao's words and leave the camp directly, which was already a huge risk for her.

This also increased Xu Dao's trust in You Bing a lot. In addition, the other party had just helped him kill Chen Mu, and an idea in Xu Dao's mind had taken shape.

Returning the favor, since the other party dared to trust him boldly and follow him out of the camp, he naturally dared to take the other party back to the cave and use the cave to protect him.

Along the way, because Xu Dao was traveling alone and had just fought with someone, he led the way a little cautiously and was not wantonly arrogant, for fear of provoking monsters and causing unnecessary trouble.

Therefore, he didn't talk much to You Bing. He only occasionally explained the situation nearby, and then focused most of his attention on the road.

This move did not make You Bing feel uncomfortable. On the contrary, it made her feel much more at ease, and she also followed the route silently.

In the middle of the night, the two of them crossed more than a dozen mountains, crossed many demon and ghost territories, and finally arrived at the boundary where Xu Dao dug a cave.

When an ordinary hilltop appeared in their eyes.

The speed of the 30,000 earthworms slowed down, and a voice came from the swarm: "We have arrived."

Immediately, the swarm of earthworms scattered suddenly, falling to the ground like a downpour, and disappeared in the blink of an eye, leaving You Bing alone.

You Bing looked slightly startled, but relying on her slight trust in Xu Dao, she did not show any fear. She just looked around, with a thoughtful look in her eyes.

Not long after, a huge boulder moved on the hillside, and light suddenly appeared in the dark night.

A figure walked out of the cave, holding a luminous pearl the size of a baby's fist in his hand, and his whole body was filled with brilliant light.

This man walked up to You Bing, stood tall and slim, nodded with a smile, and said:

"Fellow Daoist You Bing, long time no see."

This person is none other than Xu Dao.

You Bing was riding on the paper horse. She stared at Xu Dao blankly for a long time, as if she was trying to recognize Xu Dao's face.

Different from the previous appearance with the help of the earthworm, Xu Dao now physically walked out and appeared in front of her gracefully, which immediately gave You Bing a sense of closeness in addition to the feeling of surprise.

Being stared at by Xu Dao in the same way, You Bing lowered her head slightly. She didn't make a sound, preparing to flip off the paper horse and greet Xu Dao.

But Xu Dao stepped forward and stopped her movement.

Xu Dao naturally stretched out his hand to grab the reins of the paper horse, and said nonsense: "He is riding a bamboo horse to go around the bed and get green plums. Let Pindao lead the horse for you and lead the way to the mansion to rest."

Girls are also gentlemen, especially for those who practice Taoism. Men and women are different and less guarded against. Xu Dao quoted poems indiscriminately, not intending to be contemptuous of himself, but just wanted to joke with the other person.

However, this poem was written by Li Jianxian during the Holy Tang Dynasty. The poem talks about childhood sweethearts and childhood sweethearts.

But upon closer inspection, Xu Dao was only twelve or three years old when he entered the temple, and You Bing was about the same age. The two had known each other for many years, and could barely be considered old childhood friends.

After not seeing each other for nearly three years, Xu Dao revealed a faint hint of ambiguity when he opened his mouth. He immediately asked You Bing to hold the paper horse's neck. A light blush rose on his own neck, and he didn't know whether to dismount or not.

Xu Dao didn't realize what the other party's daughter was thinking. He just showed his courtesy and took the initiative to lead the horse towards the cave.

Seeing this, You Bing continued to swallow the words she had prepared in her mouth. She stroked the paper horse and continued without saying a word. She sat upright on the horse and let Xu Dao lead her inside.

After entering the cave, Xu Dao pressed the magic formula lightly, and the boulder blocking the entrance of the cave suddenly closed, and the hillside returned to its normal appearance.

But in the cave, You Bing suddenly opened his eyes wide, and his eyes were shining brightly.

It was pitch dark inside the cave, but as the two of them stepped inside, bits and pieces of faint blue light appeared under their feet, turning into a path of light that extended into the depths of the cave.

At the same time, there are still little bits of light floating in the sky like dust, as if breathing.

This was secretly driven by Xu Dao, causing the earthworms to stir up their spiritual energy and release cold light, like fireflies.

You Bing opened his eyes and looked at the scene in front of him, with the stars in his eyes, and he couldn't recover for a while.

Xu Dao's cave is not big, but it is not small either. After being expanded by the worms, although the cave is monotonous, the layout is quite regular.

He led You Bing to the center of the cave, waved his hand and inlaid the moon pearl on the top of the cave. The soft glow immediately poured down on their shoulders, making their skin glow with the moonlight.

“It’s a blessing that fellow Taoist fellow Taoist is here in person!”

When You Bing heard the voice, she lowered her head and immediately saw Xu Daozheng looking at her with a smile. His manner was so intimate that You Bing had never seen before.

For a moment, You Bing's eyes blurred, and she subconsciously returned: "I have met Taoist friend...Xu Dao."

Seeing You Bing's appearance, Xu Dao smiled and said, "It's a humble house, but with a beautiful woman here, it makes it shine!"

With a wave of his hand, the floating light spots gathered around him, condensing into branches of faint blue lotus flowers, which were planted on the stone altar where the two of them were standing, swaying naturally.

Xu Dao then lightly pressed the forehead of the paper horse You Bing was riding, and its magic power began to work. The paper horse accidentally turned into a talisman, fell to the ground, and was immediately burned.

Gently holding You Bing's hand, he looked at his cave and said:

"This place is a cave that I carefully built. There are Gu insects as a warning outside and a formation to hide the aura inside. It is safe and reliable. Fellow Daoist You Bing does not need to return to the camp this time. You can directly practice peacefully here and spend your trip to Black Mountain...

…”

You Bing was confused when she heard Xu Dao talking. She only knew that Xu Dao was introducing her cave, and she didn't hear clearly.

You Bing subconsciously lowered his head slightly and made an inquiring hum: "Huh?"

As soon as Xu Dao heard this, he suddenly said in a happy tone: "Shan! My fellow Taoist, just rest in the house, I will definitely keep you safe!"

Hearing this, You Bing raised his eyes and realized that Xu Dao had mistakenly thought that she agreed to stay in the cave, so he opened his mouth to explain clearly.

But with his mouth slightly open, You Bing returned to his senses and said nothing.

The dangerous place in the Black Mountain is now a safe place, which ordinary Taoist disciples cannot find. After all, most Taoist disciples enter this place without extravagantly seeking things such as the Immortality Fruit, but just want to survive a calamity.

But immediately, You Bing's mind fell into a trance again, and a murmuring sound came from his mouth and nose.

I saw that her mouth had been blocked, her teeth had been knocked open, and her soft tongue had been suppressed.

Suddenly, the cave was filled with earthworms swaying for company.

Lang Jun rides a white horse,

Peach blossoms are red in color.

The concubine covered her face again,

Make green plums around the bed.
