Chapter 3 Letters (3)

Lily Mistertin took Heystein's arm and ran all the way until she came to a house.

The house has only one floor and is extremely simple. Except for the structure necessary to maintain the stability of the house, there are no other unnecessary decorations, not even windows. If it were not necessary to leave a passage in and out of the room, the owner of the room would probably not even have a door.

They didn’t even want to pretend. This made the whole house look like a warehouse. If it weren’t for the group of women in white who respectfully stopped in front of the house and lowered their heads, no one would have thought that this was Hunter Mi, the lord of Antilia Island.

Stettin's room.

Seeing the house, Hestein, who had always had a cold face, also showed a nervous look on his face, and wanted to stop several times.

But Lily Mistertin couldn't see his expression. She pulled Hestein involuntarily and pushed open the door.

A ray of light shot into the room along with Lily Mistertin's movements, penetrated the empty interior of the room, and finally shone on a man sitting cross-legged. The man was dressed in white just like the group of girls outside, except for the clothes.

There are a few more gold embroidered edges on the corners. Six different swords are placed in front of him.

The man stared down at the swords with concentration, thinking about something, and didn't seem to notice that the door to the room had been opened.

"Father, I brought Hestein!"

Hearing Lily's voice, the man slowly raised his head. With this movement, Ella felt a chill pass over her body, as if a cold sword was scratching against her skin. The man squinted.

He has a pair of eyes and a very old face. He looks about eighty years old.

"Is this Lily Mistertin's father?" Amy whispered, "Lily Mistertin looks like she is only in her twenties, and the man in front of her could be her grandfather!"

Amy was whispering to Ella, and even the pirates following her couldn't hear her words clearly. However, Hunter Mistertin, who was sitting far away at the other end of the room, heard it clearly.

"I have seven children. Unfortunately, the first five children did not have enough understanding to understand the swordsmanship of the Mistertin clan, and they all committed suicide in the end. The sixth child..."

Hunter Mistertin gave Hestein a meaningful look and continued:

"Lily is the seventh child and the youngest."

Hunter Mistettin's understatement said something, but the information contained in it chilled everyone. Hunter Mistettin ignored everyone's reactions, raised his eyebrows, and turned to Hestein:

"Your letter makes me very unhappy. Although you are indeed engaged to my daughter, how can you, who has become a pirate, have the courage to come back and propose marriage?"

"Proposal?" Hestein looked back at Ella again in confusion.

Ella has begun to wonder what the brains of these barbarians are like: "Proposal? Those obscene words? Even if they have a marriage contract... No, could it be written like that, but it is in line with Hestein's way of proposing?

?”

"Father! Didn't we agree?" Lily Mistertin stamped her foot angrily, and then hugged Hestein tighter, "Hestein, after so many years, you finally

You are willing to marry me. Although the wording in that letter made me a little shy...but with that tough attitude, I am actually very happy, right?"

Seeing his daughter like this, Hunter Mistertin sighed and his tone became gentler:

"For any other reason, the moment you appear in front of me, you will die by my sword. But you just came to propose... My daughter yells your name every day, like crazy

, I have no other choice. You have inherited my swordsmanship, and you are definitely qualified to take my daughter. I plan to arrange the wedding in these days, what do you think?"

Hestein was obviously shocked by this sudden situation, and he opened his mouth and said:

"No...I think there may be some misunderstanding..."

"Misunderstanding?" Hunter Mistertin suddenly opened his squinted eyes. A murderous intention began to rise in the room, and the person touched by his gaze seemed to have been pierced by ten thousand swords.

He knelt on the ground and clutched his heart. If Hestein continued to tell the truth that he was not here to get Lily Mistertin, everyone present would probably be killed in an instant.

"No...it's nothing." Hestein changed his words. Hunter Mistettin was his mentor and the only person he dared not offend.

Hunter Mistertin said nothing and stared at Hestein for a long time. After a long time, he narrowed his eyes again.

"By the way, Hestein, when you came, did you see groups of Basiliqs?"

Lily Mistertin seemed to want to lighten the atmosphere and changed the subject.

"Yes, and there are many abnormalities." Hestein, known as the King of Beasts, seemed extremely honest in front of the father and daughter.

So Lily Mistertin nodded thoughtfully: "Sure enough, it won't work if we don't pay tribute quickly."

"Tribute?"

"Just like when you were on the island, the annual tribute to the seven Tepui priests is the same: fifty books and a living young man. In the past, we used the most heinous criminals as tribute.

, but in recent years, my father's swordsmanship has become more and more powerful. There are simply no villains who can survive his sword, so the tributes have not been presented. You know, the Tepuis are good at manipulating snakes, and those Ba

Isn't Slick attracted by the angry Tepui priest?"

After listening to Lily Mistertin's words, Amy couldn't help but tugged on Ella's forehead and said: "Your Majesty, she just mentioned the seven Tepui priests? Does that mean the legend is true? There are really some on this island.

Seven golden cities?”

Ella was still shocked by the strange way the people on the island interpreted the letters. She stood there stupidly like a wooden man and didn't listen to Amy's words at all. So Amy lowered her head and said to herself: "But

It’s impossible. It was a legend from more than 2,000 years ago. Even if seven priests really came to the island at that time, there should be no bones left now..."

Hunter Mistertin heard Amy's soliloquy clearly, so he said somewhat unhappily:

"Yes, there are no bones left. But for some reason, the soul of a priest has not ascended to heaven and has been wandering around Antilia! So I am in retreat thinking, how can I kill the soul with a sword?"

When Hunter Mistatin was unhappy, everyone present trembled. Hestein frowned and looked at Ella and Amy. But Amy, who was excited because she heard something new, did not

Paying attention to Hestein's gaze, he continued to ask: "Then, are the seven golden cities real?"

Hearing Amy's innocent question, Lily Mistertin laughed:

"What a cute little girl. If there are really seven cities, you should have seen them before going to the island, right? However, the treasures brought by the Tepui priests are indeed stored somewhere on the island, but it is a pity that they are still there.

No one can get them - Heystein, who is she? I can't see their faces, do they look good? How do they compare to me?"

Hestein seemed very unwilling to let the topic stay on Ella and Amy, and turned to Hunter Mistatin:

"Mistertin, I have another purpose for coming here this time..."

Hunter Mistatin waved his hand and interrupted Hestein impatiently:

"I saw it in the letter. Do you really think I would fund gold to a pirate? Giving you my daughter is already my biggest concession! If you want the gold, go and solve the mystery of the Seven Cities Island by yourself.

Take out their treasures!"

After saying that, Hunter Mistatin lowered his head and continued to look at the sword he placed on the ground without saying a word. Seeing this, Hestein could only exit the room.
