Chapter 5 The King and the King of Kings (1)

"Four betas?" Amy raised her head and looked around, but there was nothing around her.

But that voice was definitely ringing in her head. Amy couldn't help shouting into the air: "How do you know what I'm thinking?"

"I can hear the cries of all sinners. For I sit at the right hand of Almighty God, judging the living and the dead."

The voice was full of kindness and solemnity, and seemed to possess an irresistible magic power.

"My fire can burn away all sins - as long as the lost lamb confesses her sins before me."

"My fire can burn all monsters to death - whether it's Loki, Ra, or Apollo."

"Why would such a god come and talk to a little maid like me?"

"Because behind you is the king of the ancient empire. The final day of judgment is coming, and you can save the entire Seven Hills Empire."

After Ivar's death, no one could restrain Fenrir, the giant wolf. It retained its saliva and rushed toward the densest crowds. The first to bear the brunt was Ivar's troops who were closest to Fenrir.

Ivar's troops were successively attacked by their own lords, who fought against Jutland's troops without a unified command, and whose lords were killed in battle. Thanks to their high morale and their obvious superiority over Jutland, Ivar's troops were defeated.

Only then did they continue to hold on. In this case, Fenrir became the last straw for them.

Under these multiple blows, Ivar's army collapsed.

Their first thought was to run into the city of Sealand, but Sealand suddenly burst into flames for some reason. Ivar's troops could only turn and flee in the direction of Lorraine.

A part of Jutland's soldiers began to pursue Ivar's defeated army to expand the victory. But the remaining troops of Jutland were staring at the defenseless city of Zealand.

Ella, who finally came back, saw the fire in the direction of Zealand in the distance.

Her legs seemed to have lost strength all of a sudden, and she knelt on the boat and murmured:

"Sealand... is burning."

Alfred sighed on the side: "It seems we are still late."

He wanted to comfort the purple robe in front of him, but he felt unable to speak. Ella did not urge Alfred's fleet once when it was advancing, probably because she had already been mentally prepared.

However, what came out of Ella's mouth was beyond everyone's expectations: "No...it's not late at all."

There was no emotion in her words at all. She continued to state in such a tone, as if the gods were judging the world:

"Sealand is essentially an island surrounded by water. Whether you want to go back to their territory, Britain, or to Ragnar's territory, Sweden, you have to use ships and take various waterways... And we have a navy

An absolute advantage.”

"There is no need to land in Zealand... Alfred, just use your fleet to completely block Zealand. Just trap Ivar and all his troops in Zealand."

"As long as Ivar's troops are unable to continue going north to support Ragnar, our goal will be achieved. For this purpose, whether we trap them in Britain or in Zealand, the effect will be the same."

"That's right... our goal has been achieved. Losing a mere Sealand will have no impact on the war situation at all."

"By the way, trapping Ivar's army with just one Sealand is a great success, isn't it? Yes...that's right...we...succeeded."

Alfred couldn't stand it any longer, shook his head and said, "Purple robe... take a look at yourself in the water?"

Ella listened to Alfred's words and took a photo into the water - the face that appeared on the water was distorted and covered with tears and snot.

Alfred lost no time in handing over a silk handkerchief. Seeing that Ella didn't respond, he said "I'm sorry" and squatted down to help Ella wipe her face clean. But Ella shook her hand and

Alfred's handkerchief dropped.

"King of Knights," she asked to herself as she looked at the sea, "the crown of England is also very heavy, isn't it?"

"Most of the time it's so heavy that people want to drop it. But when I think about what kind of clown will pick it up after I drop it, I don't dare to drop it."

Alfred picked up the handkerchief, patted it, and put it into Ella's hand.

"Alfred, if you have no objections, just block them in Zealand according to the plan just mentioned... When Hestein comes back, let them pay with blood."

Ella's hand was tightly grasped - Hestein, you must come back victorious.

Aingale walked over at this moment. He stopped five steps away from Alfred and Ella and saluted.

"King, I used my roar to sense the living life in Zealand." He said to Alfred, "There are a large number of life reactions in Zealand, half of which are like candles that are about to burn out, and half of which are like slightly floating candles.

Mars, this is not the life response that an army should have, but should be thought of as coming from the people who stayed in Zealand."

"Oh? In other words, Ivar's army has not entered Zealand?"

"Yes, there is a medium-sized force in front of Zealand City, but they have not yet entered Zealand."

"What's going on?" Alfred frowned, "Send a ship to explore the situation at close range!"

Soon, the people sent to investigate came back with news: the army in front of Sealand was not Ivar's. Looking at the flag, it should belong to the Alemannic Federation.

Ella stood up.

"Alfred, I'm going to Zealand with my troops to check out the situation. If you feel it's dangerous, you can stay here first."

"Zipao, do you underestimate me too much?"

Alfred glanced at Ella and ordered the fleet to land in Zealand.

Far away, they heard the sound of a wolf howling. When they got closer, they saw the giant wolf the size of a man. Its body was red, half of it was blood, and the other half was flames.

The flames melted the iron and burned the arrows. It held a soldier under its talons and chewed another in its mouth. Jutland's troops tried to stop it, but they could not.

"It is a giant beast carefully raised with the flesh and blood of the protector." Aingar said, "Looking at its strength, its master is an elf-level magician! However, its master seems to have died.

The power is gradually declining, and the flames on it will disappear by tomorrow at most."

"We can't wait until tomorrow!" Alfred frowned, "Aingale, can you stop it now?"

"easy."

With that said, Aingale walked up to Ella and grabbed the crowbar in Ella's hand.

"Purple robe, let me use this thing."

Before Ella could let go, Ayn Gale had already made that strange roar at the crowbar in Ella's hand. Ella only felt the crowbar in her hand shake violently, and she suddenly took off her hand and fell to the ground.

.The moment it touched the ground, the giant snake seen in the Antilia cave jumped out of the crowbar!

In the eyes of the Jutland soldiers, what suddenly appeared on the battlefield was just an outrageously large snake. But the Sealand and England soldiers with navigation experience recognized it at a glance as the highly venomous Basilik. It appeared majestically on the battlefield.

The sight of Basilik in the sun aroused their panic, causing them to run away in a hurry.

The Basilik made by Jabir through alchemy has stable properties. It is no longer afraid of sunlight, and the venom will not decompose when exposed to slight heat.

Fenrir noticed Baslik, and Baslik also stared at Fenrir. The two giant beasts stared at each other, and then rushed forward at the same time, fighting together.

The flames on Fenrir's body continued to dissolve Baslik's body, but Baslik's body was restored again and again - one of the representative symbols of alchemy is the snake holding its own tail. Alchemists believe that

Matter will not disappear out of thin air, it will just be transformed into different substances. As long as you master the appropriate method, matter will cycle from head to tail like an ouroboros, constantly returning to its original position.

.

And Jabir’s alchemy skills have made this snake nearly immortal!
