Chapter 331 Goodbye, Erudite

Demon Slayer Castle is a new city built by the ancestors who jointly chose Snorri Thorson, and the temple of the dwarf gods is naturally indispensable. In the central square, opposite the main entrance of the city, there is a majestic and simple dwarf-style building.

It is divided into two floors: underground and above ground. The underground is the temple dedicated to the seven ancestor gods, and the ground is the power center of the city. The Council of Elders, the court and other administrative departments are also here.

On both sides of the building are two cathedrals with different styles. The Holy Grail and Iris representing the Lake God and the Hammer of the Sigmar Sect and the twin-tailed comet complement each other.

With the square as the center, the city radiates outwards. Guilds, markets, residential areas, schools and other related living facilities are all available, and it already has the necessary conditions for a prosperous residential area.

With the opening of the railway, the transportation time has been greatly shortened, and the knight lords and imperial manor owners who immigrated to the South have also set up real estate in Demon Slayer Castle. The life here is much richer than in the village, and they can also discover the potential of Demon Slayer Castle real estate.

Room for appreciation.

The arrival of the owner of the Southern World Edge Mountains was warmly welcomed by the residents. Everyone wanted to see the legendary figure who was also a scroll master, a warrior, a wise man, and a benevolent king.

After visiting the city and observing the public sentiment, Snorri met with landlords, businessmen, priests and other high-ranking figures, listened to their opinions and made some modifications to the currently implemented policies.

Although there are both Bretonnians and Imperials living in the fortresses in the Gray Mountains, dwarves still make up the majority after all. Some policies can be used as a reference, but copying them still creates some problems.

After finishing all this, Snorri took the time to take a look at the situation in the pit of the living dead. It seemed that Vahav, the eldest son of Settra the Great, had attracted the energy of the undead army in the west by setting up troops in Coffin Canyon. Now there is no organized undead attack.

Lost the plateau.

"Your Majesty, there is a human who calls himself Erudite Pukelt. He says he is an old acquaintance of yours!"

After Snorri calmed down the fierce dispute between the Lake Goddess Freya and the old bald Casmir VII, he was about to have a drink and go to bed, but Gotrek walked in and disrupted his plan.

"Loremaster Puckart!" Snorri repeated the name, and as the memories unfolded, the dust-covered memories gradually became clear.

It was in the city of Bordello. After the war, it was also the same night that this mysterious visitor brought the news that Constantine's brother had died under Mannann's wrath, and also analyzed the differences between gods for him.

"What should I say? Do you want to see him? Or do you want me to send him away?" Gotrek's voice pulled Snorri out of his thoughts.

"Please quickly! Bring me a small barrel of good wine and ask Bergman to select it!"

A few minutes later, the Erudite walked in slowly, still wearing a black cloak covering his whole body and holding a cane in his hand. However, compared with last time, he lowered his hood, revealing his bald head and old face.

.

"We haven't seen you for several years, and you seem to have changed little! What kind of wind brought you to the south?"

Snorri stood up with a smile to welcome him and handed the old man a glass of wine. Even though he was in a high position now, he still had enough respect for the knowledgeable and mysterious guy.

"Haha, hello to you, the respected King of the South. For ordinary people, the passage of time has nothing to gain except getting closer to death, but for a British master like you, a few years are enough to cause earth-shaking changes!

"The scholar laughed and said a few compliments.

"According to what I have seen along the way, your territory is prosperous, especially this large railway that runs thousands of miles, which can be described as a wonder in the world!" The old man praised Snorri's achievements, and the traveler stroked his beard. Who doesn't like to get results?

Recognized.

"The greenskins and Skaven in the north have fallen apart under your war hammer, and they are no longer able to survive; the dead of Nehekhara now balance each other, unable to disturb your people; as for the two pointed ears, they are as strong as them

His body is so thin, it can be said that he is not worth mentioning!"

This erudite man had been traveling in the Southland for an unknown amount of time. He analyzed the situation of the forces around Snorri clearly in just a few words. Snorri nodded repeatedly. Such talented dwarves who have an overall view of the situation are really rare among dwarves.

"To tell you the truth, I have heard a lot of good things. Your insight is extraordinary, but do you have any suggestions for me? If nothing else, I can still use a few hundred gold coins to fund your trip."

Snorri knew that the scholar who suddenly came to visit seven or eight years after disappearing must not be here to sing praises, so he motioned to the human opposite to get straight to the point.

"When I came here, I heard that the successor to the throne of the Norscan Dwarf Lord was preparing to go south. When he marries your sister, the nobles will take a further step towards internal unity!" Puckart is indeed well-informed about this matter.

Snorri, as his brother-in-law, didn’t even hear the letter!

"The people of Norsca have been away from the mountains for a long time. Although my father has restored contact with them, he is still not close. I really don't know the specific situation. Maybe you can tell me about it."

Snorri sat up straight. What he knew about the world more than a normal dwarf nobleman was based on the game in his previous life, but the northern dwarves were not mentioned individually, so he only had a general idea.

"Hahaha, as far as I know, the northern noble intends to come all the way to Plateau Castle to welcome his bride and challenge this noble's traditional customs. Wouldn't he also bring you to Bordeaux City? Then you can have a detailed discussion with him.

.”

The human shook his head. He was not on this trip to provide Snorri with information about the four northern cities.

"After your sister, Princess Nina, gets married, it will be your turn. A suitable marriage can bring solid allies, and an outstanding heir can ensure the long-term stability of the territory. As a king, you must pay attention!"

"Huh?" Snorri raised his eyebrows when he heard this. He didn't expect that a human would worry about his own marriage, but this was something that was close to his heart.

I mentioned it once and he was really thinking about it after the battle and everything was fine.

"Go on, what suggestions do you have? As the co-owner of the mountains, my father has already contacted the fortresses where our clan has marriageable daughters. Is there any human elector who wants to recruit me as his son-in-law?"

Snorri was joking, but in his heart he felt that it would be a good idea to listen to the opinions of the knowledgeable people in front of him on this matter. Compared with the civil servants and military officers who were also dwarves around him, a human being would have fewer interests at stake.

"In my humble opinion, there may be one thing you should consider, and that is the lifespan of your partner. After all, your lifespan will probably not be limited by your mortal body." Pukelt's face was as smooth as a lake, and he could tell.

The words that came out made Snorri's heart skip a beat.
