Chapter 1,483 Angels and the Holy Spirit

 Standwick City.

After being burned by the doomsday fire, the bustling scene of the town no longer exists. Except for the castle that was firmly protected in the center, the nearby buildings have long been reduced to ashes.

Walking among the ruins, Masiah stared blankly at everything nearby, using all his strength to search for any creatures that might survive.

The unique constitution of the Holy Spirit prevented him from being harmed, but it could not save him from the pain in his heart. He watched with his own eyes one creature after another, being burned to ashes by the flames falling from the sky, and he felt extremely sad in his heart.

Not far away, under a large cloud of dark ashes, there was a sudden slight noise.

Masaya looked in the direction of the sound in surprise, and saw a solid boulder with a sudden crack on its surface. A fleshless skeleton arm penetrated from the inside of the stone, quickly shattering other parts of the stone's surface.<

Masiah was stunned. Those who broke through the boulder were the original lichs.

"Damn it...that Rhodes, how dare he do this to us." A lich in a burgundy robe walked out of the stone and complained dissatisfiedly, "I protected you and survived, and you all owe me now.

Once!"

There were only two lichs walking out of the boulder with her.

"My undead creatures... they all died here. I will definitely seek revenge from Rhodes..." Stephen, who was beside the red lich, said in a deep voice.

"Let's survive first." Asri looked around gloomily, "I still can't cast space spells, that power still affects me."

Suddenly, Asri raised his head, looked at the sky not far away, and said urgently: "No, that spell has completely ended. Without the restraint of the spell, we have been exposed to their sight.

."

At the end of Asri's sight, golden light pierced the sky and was approaching her at an unimaginable speed. It contained an extremely powerful momentum that was far beyond the ability of other creatures to compete.

"Get out of here quickly! If you're late, it's too late... Just wish yourself well. After you survive, you can think about other things."

With that said, Asri raised his hand, performed a flying magic spell on himself, and then flew towards the outside of the city.

"Evil and filthy lich, don't even think about escaping so easily!"

In the sky behind, the blond angel roared angrily. The sword in his hand emitted a blazing light, as if it could break all darkness.

"Damn it, Asri, how dare you leave us here!" Seeing Asri fleeing first, the red-clothed Lich angrily yelled. She also knew that now was not the time to argue about this.

Without much hesitation, the red lich quickly cast a spell, and the gravel deep underground penetrated the ashes on the ground and condensed towards the surface of her body.

"Goodbye, Stephen." The red lich said slowly, turning into a stone pillar, still maintaining the posture of staring at Stephen.

The only lich left in the place was Stephen. She put her hand on the stone pillar transformed by the red lich, and there was only a cold touch in her hand.

Before Stephen could react, the angel's attack had already arrived at her side.

Golden light fell from the sky. In the face of this light, all evil could not hide. The darkness could not even block it for a moment, so it was divided into two parts.

Stephen's body fell to the ground, and the blond angel swept with his sword. The stone pillar transformed by the red lich broke with the sound, but it was hollow in the middle.

After cutting the stone pillar from its roots, the blond angel saw the small passage under the stone pillar, which extended deep into the ground. It was so deep that there was no end in sight. Even he could not track the enemies below.

"Holy Archangel." On the side, Masiah, who took everything in his eyes, greeted him respectfully.

Facing Masiah's greeting, the blond angel snorted and scolded: "Look, what have you done?"

"Me?" Masiah was a little confused, "I didn't do anything."

"It is precisely because you did nothing that this city suffered such great losses. You could have stopped the spell cast by the necromancer and kept those evil people here forever, but you let it go

As they flee, I don’t know how many innocent creatures will be murdered by them!”

The blond angel said dissatisfiedly, and the light around him became even more dazzling.

Facing the blond angel's rebuke, Masiah looked calm and replied slowly:

"Holy Archangel, are you still devout in your faith? Do you believe from the bottom of your heart that all suffering and all coincidences that happen in the world are arrangements by the great God?"

"Of course I believe it, but those necromancers don't believe it, and neither do those pagans. Everything they do is destroying our faith. We must eradicate all evil!" the blond angel said firmly!

.

"If you really believe that all this is God's arrangement, you should accept everything and let things develop naturally without any expectations for any results, because God has already arranged everything." Masiah

Shaking his head, "Judging from the way you questioned me, your heart is full of dissatisfaction and anger. This is not the emotion that a pious person should have. On the contrary, only an arrogant person would have such thoughts."

"God says that all evil should be eradicated. I am just practicing God's will and doing what I should do."

"God has never said this." Masiah shouted, "'I will look to God and entrust my affairs to Him. He will do great things that are unfathomable, and he will do wonders that are innumerable...'"

Golden words surrounded Masiah's body, but what came in exchange was another word from the blond angel:

"Look around you, Holy Word Masiah, look at the creatures that have been burned to ashes in the flames, and even their souls no longer exist. Say these words of yours to those who have died.

Once again."

Masiah's expression trembled, and he looked back around. Black ashes had already buried his feet deeply, and every step he took was walking among dead creatures.

Masiah suppressed the grief in her heart and said in a trembling voice: "This is just a test sent by God. God will use all kinds of sufferings to test people who are not firm in their faith. You should know this..."

"God will indeed use suffering to test believers who are not firm in their faith, but what about those ordinary devout creatures? Have they done anything wrong?" the blond angel asked in a deep voice, "I know that you always value the will of other creatures, no?

We wish to truly exert the power of the Holy Word, but sometimes, in the face of complete evil, we can only protect our faith by eradicating it."

"Think about it for yourself." After saying that, the blond angel waved his wings and rose into the sky.
