Chapter 109 The Lucky One

Bennett lay on the ground panting,

"Well... so unlucky. The traps we usually encounter are animal traps. Why would someone use such a thing as a trap?"

"Brother Bennett, are you okay? Kelly often runs around here, haven't you seen any traps?"

Looking at Bennett who was blown up by the bomb, Keli said obediently.

"Maybe I'm too unlucky." Bennett slowly got up from the ground, then rubbed the sticky slime on his body with his hands, and shook the mud from his hair.

"Keli, stop running so fast, be careful."

"It's okay! Keli has never stepped on a trap before!"

Keli didn't listen to Bennett's words and was still running around in front, curiously looking at every corner of the forest.

Bah!

"Ah!"

Keli also tripped and fell.

"Are you okay?"

When Bennett saw this, he immediately put down the colorful mushroom in his hand that was about to go into his mouth, ran forward and helped Keli up.

"Are you injured? I told you to be careful!"

"Hey...it's okay." Keli held Bennett's arm and stood up from the ground, then turned back aggrievedly and pointed at the strange object with a corner exposed on the ground.

"This is the stone that tripped me!"

Bennett squatted down, touched the corner of the object on the ground, and then knocked it with his hand.

"Dong dong dong..."

"This... this is not a stone! It's hollow inside, quick! Keli, shovel!"

Bennett said excitedly.

"Here...here!"

Keli quickly took the shovel from the side of the tree.

"Brother Bennett! Give it!"

Bennett and Kelly both realized what they found. Two little money lovers, their eyes were shining with gold. Bennett was digging the soil around him excitedly, while Kelly looked at it expectantly.

After a while, a treasure chest plated with white iron appeared in front of Kelly and Bennett. Bennett quickly took out his dagger, cut off the rusty iron lock, and then slowly opened it.<

"Wow!" the two said in unison.

Inside the treasure chest are half a box of Mora covered in dust, a magic book, and some rare ores.

"Magic book, Mora! Does this really exist?"

With tears of excitement in Bennett's eyes, he flipped the Mora inside randomly with his hands.

The treasure chests he found during his expeditions, when opened, were either some cabbage and potatoes, or a few pitiful Mora. Never before had he found half a box of Mora at once, let alone a magic book inside.

.

"Yeah! Treasure!!"

Kelly clapped her hands excitedly beside her, then took out a big bag, poured the bomb inside on the ground, and handed it to Bennett.

"Brother Bennett, use this bag to carry the treasure away!"

"Hey! I...should I take it away? This is what Keli discovered."

Bennett's tone was filled with excitement and high emotion.

"It's okay, Keli doesn't need Maura...or...I just want that magic book and give it to Aunt Lisa...er, sister."

"Really!"

Bennett patted Xiao Keli's shoulders with both hands, shaking her excitedly.

"Thank you Keli! Dads will be very happy if they find out!"

"Wow~ wow~ Really... wow... stop shaking it, Brother Bennett, the bomb is about to fall."

After hearing Keli's words, Bennett quickly looted the treasures in the box, put them in a bag, and wiped the sweat from his forehead: "What to do with these bombs on the ground..."

"How about it explode!"

Keli said excitedly.

"Well, you can throw it into the river and fry the fish."

The way Bennett looked at Keli, of course he knew that Mondstadt's little sun liked fried fish the most, and was often imprisoned for it.

"Okay! Then let's go find the geckos and fry the fish!"

Keli jumped up excitedly and continued to lead Bennett.

"This is it!"

Kelly pointed to a place deep in the trees.

Bennett carefully pushed aside the layers of bushes, and then saw groups of gynae.

"One! Two! Three...nine!"

Bennett excitedly counted the number of hookworms on the ground. He had never seen so many hookworms before, so much so that he even doubted whether the encyclopedia of plants compiled by Miss Lisa was true. There were really clusters of hookworms.

Growing?

"They are all ripe Gecko fruits. Wow, Keli, your luck is so good, this kind of luck..."

Bennett sighed while picking hook nuts.

After Keli heard this, she proudly crossed her arms.

"Hmph! Of course! I am the four-leaf clover that symbolizes luck!"

"Hey, I envy you so much. Unlike me, my teeth get clogged when I drink cold water..."

While Bennett was packing up the nuts, Kelly looked up at a big tree that wasn't too thick.

There were orange-red sunset berries growing among the leaves. Keli stretched out her little hand, hugged the trunk, and shook it. Two sunset berries fell from the tree. One fell directly into Keli’s arms, and the other one fell directly into Keli’s arms.

Then it hit Bennett on the head.

"Ouch! What the hell!"

Bennett quickly stood up straight, covering his head and looking at the sunken fruits on the ground.

"I thought it was another small stone... Where did the sunset fruit come from, and it hit me on the head."

Kelly tugged on Bennett's clothes and pointed to the tree.

"Brother Bennett, look at the many fallen fruits on this tree."

"Really, she is indeed Keli, she is so lucky."

Bennett put down the gecko nuts in the bag and kicked the tree trunk hard, but no fruit fell.

"Hey, he looks pretty strong! One more kick!"

"Boom!"

"Shashasha..."

The leaves swayed, but still no fruit fell, but another thing fell.

"Yes, yes!"

With a beautiful turn, Bennett caught the falling object with both hands.

"Hey, this is..."

An object with evenly distributed grids fell from the tree, and it was flowing with sticky liquid, showing an attractive golden color.

"Brother Bennett, it's a beehive!"

"Ah? Beehive?!"

"Buzz buzz..."

As soon as Keli finished speaking, Bennett alarmed the bees in the hive. The bees came out of their nests one by one and rushed towards Bennett angrily.

"Unlucky, unlucky, unlucky..."

"Ke...Keli! Get your things and run!"

"Brother Bennett, wait for me!"

In the chaos, Keli didn't know what she had caught, she just thought it was a soft thing.

So, Bennett held a small bag of hook nuts in one hand, and pulled Kelly with the other hand. Kelly was holding the bag containing the treasure in her arms. The two of them were running wildly, shouting and running like wolves.

The leader ran around, breaking the tranquility of the forest and causing the birds in the forest to fly away.

It was getting late, and by the river outside Benlang Leader, Kelly and Bennett sat tiredly on the grass and leaned against the tree trunk.

"Today's harvest is not bad, but a bit miserable."

Bennett covered the bag on his head and said with a smile.

At the critical moment, he held Keli tightly in his arms, and then waved the flaming dagger to disperse the swarm, but he still got a few bites on his head, which looked quite funny.

"Thank you, Brother Bennett."

Keli sat aside, playing with the dirt and pebbles on the ground with her fingers, looking at the grilled fish being skewered.

Bennett was a little confused: "Why are you thanking me? I've obviously caused you so much trouble..."

"Because...because...Kelly's sister Noelle usually takes me to play. If my sister is not free, Keli can only play by herself. No one wants to go out and take risks with Keli. Brother Bennett is the second

...Keli is very happy to be the third person to accompany me on adventures!"

"The second one is Brother Famas. He took Keli and fried a lot of fish!"

"But Brother Famas is also very busy every day..."

After Bennett heard this, he put his hands behind his head, then lay down on the grass, crossed his legs, and sighed.

"I'm so unlucky. No one likes to hang out with me. As long as Keli is happy and as long as Keli doesn't dislike me, we can go on adventures often! Form an adventure group!"

Keli quickly sat up from the ground, with big eyes, shaking the red schoolbag on her back.

"Adventure group! Really! I can ask my furry brother to join us!"

Bennett tilted his head.

"Brother Furry?"

"It's the furry brother who lives in the forest!"

Little Keli waved her little hands excitedly. Although she didn't explain clearly who the furry brother was, Bennett was still so excited that he stood up.

"Awesome! Someone finally joined Benny's adventure group!"

Kelly stretched out her little hand, jumped up and gave Bennett a high-five.

"Benny's Adventure Group! Let's go!"

"Okay! Go find Brother Furry!"

Keli also raised her hands and cheered together.
