Chapter 3 The Heavenly Blast Starts

Linn fell to the earth at the speed of a meteor entering the atmosphere,

Accompanied by a dazzling light, there was a loud "boom"!

The rocky ground seemed to suddenly become weak, and it dented downwards, and then undulated and shattered like waves, creating a deep pit of more than ten meters, and stirring up smoke and dust dozens of feet high!

Wait until the smoke disperses,

"Ahem!" Lin En pretended to cough twice. He stood up from the bottom of the pit and looked up at the edge of the "crater" above. Dozens of big men were staring at him with bright eyes!

"Don't be nervous!" He patted his empty body, "Can any of you tell me what's going on now?"

"What are you?" A strong man wearing green power armor and black skin asked loudly,

Lin En's face turned dark. What do you mean? Of course it's a human being!

He could hear a hint of exclamation and confusion from the strong man's tone. It seemed that his performance of falling from the sky unscathed was beyond their knowledge!

"Sixth Legion, Eleventh Company Wolf Guard, Lin En."

"Check his information!" A rough but gentle voice sounded,

"Yes, sir!"

When Lin En looked at the person speaking, his first impression was that he was tall!

This person's stature is far beyond that of ordinary people. Even standing among the Space Marines, he is much taller than them. Linn's height of 2.78 meters is already tall enough, but this person is even taller, at least three meters by visual inspection.

Around five!

There is no doubt that this is a primarch!

And among the Primarchs, there was only one person as tall as him.

The 18th Legion, Salamander Primarch, Vulkan!

"Verification completed, the information is correct!" said a Salamander warrior.

After hearing this, Vulkan obviously relaxed a lot, and said in a gentler tone: "Come up, little wolf, please forgive my soldiers for being nervous. After all, the way you appear is indeed a bit different!"

Linn's legs were slightly bent, and the muscles in his thighs were bulging. He exerted force, and with a roar, his whole body soared into the sky like a cannonball, flew out of the deep pit, and landed on the edge of the pit.

"Now, can you tell me what happened?"

Vulcan did not speak, but looked steadily at Lin En's face. The expression on his face seemed a little unbelievable. After a while, he asked uncertainly:

"Are you really a Space Wolves? Did Russ say anything to you?"

Linn's heart moved, Vulkan also knew him? In addition to the two originals of Russ and Magnus, even Vulkan seemed to know him! It seems that the secret of his identity is indeed related to the original, but now it is known

There is too little information to judge.

Thinking of this, he said calmly: "I said something vaguely, but I didn't go into details. It seems like it was a long time ago!"

The words were ambiguous, as if they had not been said at all, but in the ears of those who knew the details, it was enough to stir up the topic.

"Now that I think about it, it was indeed a long time ago, but I can't be sure yet," Vulcan did not continue, but stopped the topic and asked, "How did you get here?"

Lin En roughly told his own experience. Of course, he did not talk about entering the subspace experiment. He only talked about how he got lost in the subspace and was suddenly sunk after coming out.

"Maybe it's fate!" Vulkan sighed, and then asked someone to find a suit of clothes for Linn. They were also parachuted down to fight, and there was no extra power armor for him.

Lin En doesn't care either. His physical fitness no longer cares about the increase in strength of the power armor. He wears it just to look good. By adding some defensive skills, he can just find a good-looking one on the battlefield and grab it later!

"Follow us! I will explain the situation to you on the way!"

Next, Vulkan briefly introduced the situation to Linn while leading the soldiers of the Eighteenth Army to march towards a high ground ahead.

It turned out that news of the Horus Rebellion had been sent back to Terra. He, together with the World Eaters, Death Guard, and Emperor's Children, a total of four legions, rebelled against the Emperor and massacred the planet Isstvan III.

Loyalists in their legions.

The Loyalist commander appointed by Imperial Regent Malcador, the Primarch of the Imperial Fist of the Seventh Legion, Rogoldon, ordered the seven legions he could contact,

The Iron Hands, Salamanders, Raven Guards, Alphas, Word Bearers, Iron Warriors, and Night Lords formed a punishment army and came to the Isstvan system to suppress the rebellion.

The commander of this army is Ferrus Malus, the Primarch of the Iron Hands.

Seven against four, Dorn believed that they had enough troops to destroy the four legions of Horus.

Commander Ferus thinks so too,

The three legions of Iron Hands, Salamanders and Night Guard arrived first. They found traces of the traitors. The traitors built a strong fortress on the planet Istvan V.

Ferus ordered three fleets to conduct intensive orbital bombardment, but failed due to the strong void shield and anti-aircraft firepower of the fortress.

Then, after receiving the news that the remaining four legions were about to arrive, he decided to carry out ground operations and relied on his superior strength to annihilate these traitors head-on.

Ferus' Iron Hand was in the middle, Salamander and Night Guard were on the left and right. After the three armies gathered at the landing site, they launched an attack on the traitor's fortress!

In the beginning, the traitors' front line was indeed compressed to the extreme, but the three-on-four forceful attack on the fortress also caused heavy casualties to themselves.

At this moment, four "reinforcements" from the rear arrived!

Then they unexpectedly attacked three loyalist fleets in orbit and destroyed the landing site.

Vulkan finally figured out that Istvan Five had been a trap designed by the traitors from the beginning. The "reinforcements" they thought had already joined the traitors' camp.

This battle was never the seven vs. four that Terra expected, but the eight vs. three planned by the traitor Horus. The loyalists were at an absolute disadvantage!

Vulkan was hurriedly rushing towards Ferus in the middle so that he could gather together and figure out a solution!

Lin En finally understood the current situation and couldn't help but feel a little irritated. This battle was so confusing and frustrating.

Information asymmetry has caused such terrible consequences!

Commander Ferus must also bear responsibility, but in a few hours, if he could wait until the friendly forces disguised by the traitors arrived before taking action, the result would never be as helpless as now!

However, this also shows that Horus, who made the plan, knew Ferrus' character.

"Report!" A Salamander soldier hurried forward and said

"Sir, the latest information captured by the apocalypse array is that four fleets of the rebel Horus have appeared that were originally missing!"

"Eight rebel fleets besieged our fleet that was still in orbit, and we suffered heavy casualties. The flagship Fireforged and the Raven Guard flagship Emperor's Shadow have been confirmed to have been destroyed!"

Lynn saw no white in the soldier's face,

But he believed that if he could see it, it would have turned into a piece of paper!

If the fleet in orbit is annihilated, that means we have no air support, and instead have to face the enemy's unscrupulous space attacks.

And not only do we have no means of counterattack, we can't even escape!

"The sky is falling!" Lin En sighed.

"I don't know if it's too late for me to surrender now!"
