Chapter 43 The first lesson

The marriage between Li Yinzhu and Hong Zhenye was arranged by Li Wenliang, as were the three matchmakers and the six appointments. Li Jinzhu and Li Yuzhu went out early and came back late as usual, and went to the workshop to watch making preserved eggs and salted eggs.

All the eggs in that yard have been pickled, and we still need to buy more eggs. We have to pickle a batch every day so that after the shop opens, we can have fresh preserved eggs and salted eggs every day.

The preserved egg and salted egg business is the most important thing right now.

Li Yinzhu still grows vegetables, feeds chickens, does laundry and cooks at home.

Li Xiaonan put down the various books borrowed by Li Xuedong. She dug out a worn-out Three-Character Classic from her brother's house and began to teach Li Yinzhu how to read.

Li Yinzhu married into the Hong family. As the eldest son and daughter-in-law of the Hong family, she must be in charge of the house. Lack of education is not a big problem, but illiteracy is not.

Around the end of the morning, Li Yinzhu was busy with housework. Li Xiaonan had just taken out the Three-Character Scripture and was about to teach Li Yinzhu how to read. Shi Gun opened the courtyard door, looked in, met Li Xiaonan's eyes, and said with a smile: "Miss Li, our master wants to ask you

Don’t you have time right now?”

"Yes." Li Xiaonan stood up and handed the Three-Character Sutra to Li Yinzhu, "It's okay, I'll be back in a moment."

Li Yinzhu was worried and followed her to the gate of the hospital with her books. She was relieved when she saw that besides Shi Gun, there was also a good-looking woman of eighteen or nineteen years old.

Shi Gun first introduced the woman waiting outside the gate to Li Xiaonan.

"This is Miss Wanqing, who is by our father's side and in charge of our father's clothes. Our father said that it is not appropriate for me to be a man running back and forth to the girl's house. I will ask Miss Wanqing to accompany the girl back there in the future."

."

Li Xiaonan listened with a smile and looked at Wan Qing.

Wearing an apricot yellow top, an apricot yellow skirt, and a maroon half-armor, she has willow eyebrows and almond-shaped eyes, fair skin, slightly thick lips, and a hint of honesty. She is not too good-looking, but she has a very comfortable and stable feeling.

If you are in charge of clothing, then you are a personal attendant?

It seems that that man doesn’t pay much attention to appearance. Well, that’s true. He is so good-looking, so he just needs to look at himself, not others.

Li Xiaonan looked at Wan Jing, and Wan Jing also looked at Li Xiaonan up and down.

With Shi Guan in front, Li Xiaonan and Wan Qing walked side by side out of the alley and entered the teahouse diagonally opposite.

The teahouse was open, and there were all the waiters and shopkeepers, but except for that man, there were no other customers.

Gu Yan was sitting at the table by the window, facing the teahouse door, swinging the folding fan, and looking at Li Xiaonan, who was looking around as soon as he entered.

This little girl is very different from Luxiu.

Luxiu was bought by someone, and it took him three or four years of careful training before she was sold. She went through several houses before she got to him. Could it be that the little girl in front of her was Luxiu's original temperament?

But Lu Xiu’s amazing aura in his poetry can only come from nature and cannot be cultivated. Where did that aura go?

"Have you booked this teahouse?" Li Xiaonan sat across from Gu Yan.

"I'm not wrapping it up, I'm buying it." Gu Yan put away the folding fan.

"What's your surname? What do you do? How do you know about the Gongyuan Examination? Also, I've definitely never met you. What's your fate with me?" Li Xiaonan asked a series of questions and looked up with her chin.

Look at Gu Yan and wait for his answer.

Gu Yan raised his eyebrows and clicked his tongue, "This is the first time in my life, Gu Yan, that I have been questioned like this!"

"Well, your surname is Gu and your first name is Yan. Go on." Li Xiaonan nodded.

Gu Yanshi laughed out loud, followed Li Xiaonan's example, put his arms on the table, looked at Li Xiaonan and said with a smile: "Have you heard of Prince Rui's Mansion?"

"No." Li Xiaonan shook her head, she really had never heard of it.

Gu Yan sighed and tapped the table with his fingers, "Then do you know the surname of the current saint?"

"Huh? Gu?" Li Xiaonan's eyes widened.

She had memorized the Hadith, and she knew the royal family name was Gu, but she really didn’t expect it!

"Taizong of this dynasty only had two sons. The eldest son inherited the throne, and the second son passed to his uncle Prince Rui and took over the palace of Prince Rui. This second son is my great-grandfather.

"Oh, by the way, Prince Rui is the only hereditary and non-replaceable title in this dynasty. Do you know what hereditary non-replacement means?" Gu Yan looked at Li Xiaonan with a smile.

Li Xiaonan leaned back and leaned tightly on the back of the chair, glancing sideways at Gu Yan.

Why does she feel like she has met a liar?

It's like this: I am the thirty-seventh generation grandson of Song Taizu, holding a treasure map and short of start-up capital. If I spend 1,000 yuan to find the treasure, I will give you 100 million!

"The new Wei Xuezheng of Liangzhe Road is my uncle. When you were taking the exam in Hangzhou, I walked past you, walked past, walked past, walked past. Didn't you see me?"

Gu Yan moved forward, looked at Li Xiaonan, and asked with a smile.

Li Xiaonan leaned back against the back of the chair, holding the edge of the table with both hands, so that the front legs of the chair were lifted off the ground.

"Do you and I have a deep fate, but I can't say yet. I heard that your third sister has decided to get married?"

Gu Yan leaned back on the chair, shook open the folding fan, and looked at Li Xiaonan, who was pushing the edge of the table with her hands and staring at him with round eyes.

"How do you know that Third Sister is engaged? Who told you?"

"Wang Gui." Gu Yan pointed his folding fan outward, "My spy manager."

"Have you been staring at us for a long time? When Huang Xianzun gathered the case at Li's house, that person was you?" Li Xiaonan glanced at Wang Gui, who was standing next to Shi Gun.

"It's me." Gu Yan laughed, "The word "star" doesn't sound good. It can't be too early. The first time I saw you was when you were taking the exam in Gongyuan. You were very good at pretending. I was on the way to Lijiaji.

It just happened."

"Have you recognized me a long time ago? Why did you recognize me? How could you and I know each other?"

"Let me ask you, your third cousin, your name is Li Wenhua, right? He said that the poems you wrote in the past were very spiritual. I have read all the poems you wrote since the county examination, tsk!"

Gu Yan tsked with disgust, raised his folding fan, made a blocking gesture, and lowered his voice.

"That's right, right? Yun, tell me, where did your aura go?"

Li Xiaonan pursed her lips tightly, her heart filled with turmoil.

What does he mean by this? What on earth does he mean!

"You don't want to say yes, then I won't ask. You see, this is one of the fates. Also, I recognize you. This is another fate between us, so you can just take it as it is~" Gu Yan trailed off

, chuckled and said, "It must be our fate in the past life."

"You look like a liar!" Li Xiaonan looked at Gu Yan.

His words about fate made her heart beat wildly. These words had numerous meanings, and each meaning was scary and exciting at the same time.

Li Xiaonan said a liar, which made Gu Yan raise his eyebrows and look speechless.

In the past and present, I have scolded him and called him a liar. This is the first time!

Gu Yan took a deep breath and was about to speak when Li Xiaonan continued: "You stared at me, called me out, and said all this nonsense. What do you want to do?"

Gu Yan leaned back in his chair, opened the folding fan, and glanced sideways at Li Xiaonan.

The girl in front of me is stupid, and she has none of the dexterity and suppleness of her green sleeves!

"Speak!" Li Xiaonan stared at Gu Yan and urged.

Gu Yan let out a long sigh, "I, the dignified Crown Prince Rui, the envoy of Jiangnan Guanfeng, are being questioned like a prisoner by a little girl like you!"

Gu Yan put away the folding fan and slapped it on the table.

Li Xiaonan leaned back, pushed the edge of the table with both hands, and straightened her arms.

"Take a good look at yourself. For someone like you, what's worth my decision?" Gu Yan leaned forward, stretched his arm in front of Li Xiaonan, curled his fingers, and kept tapping on the table.

"I'm just asking you because I don't know." Li Xiaonan looked at the jasper finger on Gu Yan's thumb.

The wrench is engraved with complicated patterns, and a delicate silk rope is tied to one end of the wrench and the other to the wrist.

Gu Yan followed Li Xiaonan's gaze and looked at his finger.

This ring was given to him by the Crown Prince when he first went north to join the army. In his previous life, this ring was given by Green Sleeves to the little leader of the border army who was guarding them, and was exchanged for thirty kilograms of Chen rice.<

"Like this? The prince gave it to me, I can't give it to you." Gu Yan raised his finger at Li Xiaonan.

"I don't like it! You haven't said what you want to do yet."

Li Xiaonan was forced to press her back against the back of the chair by Gu Yan's fingers, but she still sat firmly on the chair and her position was not lost!

"We agreed that one tael of silver is enough for a trip to talk about style, and gossiping does not count. Now, should we continue gossiping for no money, or talk about style?" Gu Yan leaned back on the chair and glanced sideways at Li Xiaonan.<

Li Xiaonan pursed her lips, and after a moment, she decisively replied: "Talk about style!"
