Chapter 41 The old man of the Li family

Li Xiaonan jumped out of the courtyard with the tightly wrapped big bowl in her arms, and ran all the way to their preserved egg shop.

It was already November, and she had to run over quickly so that the eldest sister could have a hot meal.

As soon as I turned out of Cailian Lane, I didn't run very far when a person bumped into me. Fortunately, Li Xiaonan reacted quickly, hugged her rice bowl and stopped suddenly, and finally she didn't smash the bowl out.

"Oh, what a coincidence!" The person opposite exclaimed exaggeratedly.

Li Xiaonan raised her eyes from the rice bowl in her arms and looked at Awu standing in front of her.

"I didn't expect to meet you here!" Awu smiled.

"What a coincidence?" Li Xiaonan shouted, walked around A Wu, and then ran forward.

"Hey! Don't run away, we are such a coincidence..." Ah Wu trotted behind him.

"What a coincidence, you are obviously blocking me here!" Li Xiaonan said rudely.

"Hey! Even if I block you, my cousin is here too. Don't be afraid. Don't run away."

"I'm not afraid of you! I'm delivering food to the eldest sister. If you don't run quickly, the food will get cold!" Li Xiaonan ran faster.

"Oh? Oh! Then I'll run with you." Awu simply ran in front of Li Xiaonan, waving his hand to clear the way for her.

"Wait for me here, don't go in!" Still two or three feet away from the preserved egg shop, Li Xiaonan pulled Awu.

"Okay, okay." Awu was extremely obedient.

Li Xiaonan brought the rice to the preserved egg shop and came out soon.

Wang Yuting, Awu's cousin and daughter-in-law, also arrived. She was panting and muttering something to Awu. When they saw Li Xiaonan coming out, the two of them hurriedly smiled.

"Go over there and talk." Li Xiaonan kept walking, signaling to Awu and his wife.

After turning a corner, Li Xiaonan looked back to make sure that her eldest sister could not be seen, then she stopped, put her hands behind her back, looked at A Wu, and then at Wang Yuting.

"How do you know where my home is?" Li Xiaonan asked politely.

"It's just a coincidence..."

"Tell the truth to the girl." Wang Yuting interrupted Ah Wu, looked at Li Xiaonan, and said with a smile: "We first went to Bieye to find Miss Wan Qing, who pointed it out to us."

"What are you looking for me for?" Li Xiaonan asked next.

"Girl, do you know that we have taken care of the dock and we are not allowed to take care of it anymore?" Wang Yuting asked casually.

"I don't know." Li Xiaonan simply shook her head, "You still want to take care of the dock? Then you have to go to the prince, and it's useless to go to me."

"We also know that we are looking for the prince, but we can't find him, right?" Ah Wu looked miserable.

"We just want to know if we did something wrong and offended the prince." Wang Yuting continued.

Hearing what Wang Yuting said, Li Xiaonan became a little puzzled.

"How did that prince know you?" Li Xiaonan asked.

"That's what happened..."

Wang Yuting carefully explained how they met the prince, how they suddenly got the opportunity to manage the dock, and how they worked hard to straighten the dock in the past ten days. But when the ten days were up, the dock was occupied again.

I took it back and took it back.

They went to Bieye two or three times, and one time they happened to meet the Prince returning home, but the Prince didn't even look at them. Later, the man named Shi Gun came out and told them not to go to Bieye to find the Prince again.

"...We are not doing it for the dock, but the more we think about it, the more we are afraid. Can you tell me, if the prince is like this, have we done something wrong?" Wang Yuting frowned.

Li Xiaonan also became puzzled.

Alas, the thoughts of these noble people are so-called unfathomable. She can't understand how to create mystery even if there is no mystery.

"Then why are you looking for me?" Li Xiaonan softened her tone.

This young couple is a bit pitiful.

"We went to find Miss Wan Qing. It was Miss Wan Qing who directed us to find a girl, saying that the one who can speak in front of their prince is a girl." Wang Yuting accompanied him with a smile on his face.

"How can I say anything..."

Faced with the small expressions on A Wu and Wang Yuting's faces, Li Xiaonan sighed before finishing her sentence.

"Wan Qing is so awesome! I'm not trying to shirk. Look at me, do I look like someone who can keep his word in front of that prince? Besides, I can't see him either. Oh, forget it, if I can see him

He, let me ask for you, why he let you take care of it and not let you take care of it, okay?"

"Thank you, girl!" Wang Yuting breathed a sigh of relief and sighed, taking out a coarse cloth bag from his sleeve and holding it to Li Xiaonan, "I fried this specially for the girl. These soybeans were picked out one by one."
Li Xiaonan sighed again, picked up the small coarse cloth bag, poured a handful into her hand, and handed the bag to Wang Yuting.

"I can just eat these. You don't have much money now, do you?"

"It's okay." Wang Yuting twisted his head.

"I don't have any money either, not even a single copper." Li Xiaonan stuffed the bag into Wang Yuting's hand, "Don't worry, as long as I can see the prince, I will definitely ask a question for you."

"Thank you so much, girl." Wang Yuting grabbed the bag and bent his knees to express his thanks.

"Thank you." Ah Wu thanked him in a muffled voice.

"You're welcome, see you later." Li Xiaonan waved to the two of them, turned around and walked back.

One day later, just after Li Xiaonan came back from delivering food to her eldest sister, Wan Qing came over to treat her.

Before Li Xiaonan stepped over the threshold, Wan Qing stuffed a delicate and small brass hand stove into Li Xiaonan's arms.

"I'm not cold. I'm used to it. No need to give it to me." Li Xiaonan hurriedly stuffed it back.

"This is an order from our prince. He said that your family is poor and you must not have a hand stove. I asked you to get a hand stove for you." Wan Qing stuffed it back again.

"I'm not cold, okay, okay, this is your mission, I know." Li Xiaonan still pushed, facing Wan Qing's sideways gaze, she quickly obeyed.

"Thank you so much for being considerate of my job!" Wan Qing rolled her eyes at Li Xiaonan.

"Let me ask you, why did you point that Awu and his wife to me? You still said that I can speak in front of your prince? You are talking nonsense." Li Xiaonan moved slowly, and

Wan Qing explains how she gave directions to A Wu and his wife.

"You can speak in front of our prince, and I was right."

"What I call talking in front of your prince is not talking about being eloquent! How can this be the same?" Li Xiaonan bit her tongue hard, and she was eloquent.

"That's right." Wan Qing frowned and thought for a while, "When you are in front of our prince, that's not talking, that's quarreling. You are so powerful. You dare to talk to our prince, tsk!"

"What now?"

A few steps away from the entrance of the alley, Li Xiaonan simply stopped.

"Didn't that Awu say that he just wanted to know why? When you see our prince later, why don't you just ask?" Wan Qing tilted her head at Li Xiaonan.

Li Xiaonan looked at Wan Qing speechlessly, and for a moment, she let out a long sigh.

She asked, if the prince asked her how she knew, and then asked how A Wu knew about her family, and if she continued to ask, Wan Qing would be in bad luck!

Alas, it's up to her to think of the words. No matter what, Wan Qing can't be dragged out.
