51, offensive and defensive layout

Historically, Game 6 of this series with the Thunder was quite crucial. It was an epic game for the Warriors!

If we lose this game, 73 wins will become a joke, and there will be no Durant to vote for!

This game was very difficult. We were basically lagging behind from the beginning to the end, and we didn't overtake until the last moment.

Playing in an away game, always lagging behind and being beaten by the opponent, and with their backs against a cliff, you can imagine how much psychological pressure the Warriors generals are feeling!

There is no doubt that the biggest contributor to this game was Klay. It was his 11 three-pointers that allowed the Warriors to close the gap and take the lead.

You know, these 11 three-pointers are not all open, several of them were forced shots against people, which is quite difficult!

When Klay hit two three-pointers in a row, the Thunder began to focus on him. When Klay hit five or six three-pointers, the Thunder's defensive intensity was even higher than that of Curry!

Donovan is a good coach, he has done a good job in coaching the team's defense, and the Thunder have no shortage of defensive players.

Under such circumstances, Klay made 11 three-pointers. It can be said that Clay's physical strength is quite strong and his psychological quality is also extremely good!

You know, 11 three-pointers in a single game is the most in a single game in the NBA playoffs!

In the history of the NBA playoffs, there have been 9 three-pointers in a single game five times before, from Carter, Terry, Ray Allen (twice) and Chapman. Today, Klay has surpassed that.

Klay's performance made Warriors owner Joe Lacob so excited that he knelt down on one knee in front of Thompson in the tunnel and worshiped him. This shows that the boss was truly moved.

Klay Thompson played 40 minutes in this game, making 11 of 18 three-pointers, scoring 41 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 shot.

Besides Klay, the Warriors' second greatest contributor to this game was Curry.

Curry played 41 minutes in this game, making 9 of 22 shots and 6 of 13 three-pointers. He scored 31 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists, and 3 steals!

It can be said that if Clay's performance was not so dazzling, Curry's data would definitely be the star of the day!

The Warriors trailed by 4 points at the end of the quarter. It was Curry's two three-pointers that tied the score, and it was Klay's three-pointer that led to the lead!

Curry's shooting percentage, points, assists, and steals are already outstanding. He can hardly ask for more!

Of course, there is no doubt that the first contribution was made by Clay.

Without Klay's previous three-pointers, the Warriors would have collapsed long ago.

But it must be fair to say that it was the Thunder's tight defense by Curry that gave Clay so many chances to take action!

No matter which team, the first priority against the Warriors is to guard against Curry. There is no doubt about this!

In fact, whether it is shooting percentage, number of shots, points per game, assists, etc., compared to Klay, Curry is ahead!

Curry's scoring average in this year's playoffs is even 8 points higher than Klay!

Klay only needs to break out occasionally, while Curry needs to stay in a high state all the time.

Why Klay can't break out often and doesn't average as many points per game as Curry? In the final analysis, Curry is a greater threat, more comprehensive and more capable.

When the opponent puts most of their defensive energy on Curry, Clay has a chance to perform.

Under normal defense, Klay is still much worse than Curry.

Of course, without Clay's control, Curry's performance would be worse, and this is also true.

The third hero of the Warriors in this game was Iguodala. It was his defense at the critical moment that gave Clay the opportunity to hit the fatal three-pointer.

Cole started Iguodala in the second half, which also shows the importance of the first brother.

Iguodala's role is mainly reflected on the defensive end. In this game, he only scored 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals.

In this game, only three players from the Warriors scored in double figures. Apart from the Splash Brothers, Green was the only one. He played 43 minutes and scored 12 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals.

Green's role is very important. If it were not for foul trouble, his playing time may be longer.

Durant played 45 minutes for the Thunder, making 10 of 31 shots, 1 of 8 three-pointers, and 8 of 10 free throws. He scored 29 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Westbrook played 44 minutes, making 10 of 27 shots, 0 of 5 three-pointers, and 8 of 10 free throws. He scored 28 points, 9 rebounds, 11 assists, and 5 turnovers.

It has to be said that Dewey's impact is really strong. Even if his three-point shooting is so bad, he can still lead the team to suppress the Warriors most of the time.

Of course, it was Westbrook and Durant's inaccurate three-pointers and their repeated attempts that gave the Warriors a chance.

Cole is still not decisive enough. He should let the team shrink more and leave Westbrook open to prevent him from rushing to the inside.

On May 30, 2016, the tiebreaker of the Western Conference Finals was staged. This game was played at the Oracle Arena, home of the Warriors.

After the last game, Cole made decisive adjustments and put Iguodala in the starting lineup.

Thunder starting lineup: Durant, Ibaka, Adams, Robson, Westbrook.

Warriors starting lineup: Iguodala, Draymond Green, Bogut, Klay Thompson, Curry.

As soon as the first quarter started, Iguodala sent a wonderful pass to help Green get a layup. But soon Robson tipped the ball into the net, Adams turned around and hit the hook, and the Thunder broke the deadlock. After that, the two sides fell into a fierce tug-of-war, and the shooting efficiency

None of them were high. Curry hit two three-pointers and a layup, scoring 8 points. But Westbrook hit the net with a three-pointer to continue to help the Thunder lead. Green dunked, and Durant jumped back into the net, finishing the quarter.

, the Warriors trailed the Thunder 19-24.

In the second quarter, Westbrook and Kanter teamed up to help the Thunder establish a double-digit lead. But from the middle of this quarter, Klay Thompson found his shooting feeling. You know, after the opening, Thompson made all of his first 7 shots.

It was only for this reason that the Warriors fell behind. But after that, Clay hit four consecutive three-pointers. With these four hits, the Warriors quickly closed the point difference to single digits.

The Thunder's offensive efficiency declined. Adams even hugged Green fiercely during a confrontation. Before halftime, Westbrook stormed to tie 2+1, but Curry threw into the net at the buzzer.

After halftime, the Thunder continued to lead 48-42.

After changing sides to fight again, the Warriors are in better and better shape. Curry hit three consecutive three-pointers against the defense. Thompson and Iguodala can also provide fire support from the outside. With the combined efforts of these three people, they made five three-pointers.

points, the Warriors successfully overtook the score.

Under the fierce attack of the Warriors, the Thunder panicked. Affected by the decline in physical strength, Durant and Westbrook also began to shoot. Livingston scored 5 points on a sudden outside shot. Barbosa, Barnes, Varejao

Successive attacks succeeded, and the Warriors hit a 12-0 climax, widening the point difference to double digits. Durant made a foul and hit a free throw, finally helping the Thunder stop the bleeding.

After three quarters, the Thunder trailed the Warriors 60-71.

In the final quarter, the Thunder launched a final counterattack under the leadership of Durant. Ibaka hit a three-pointer, and the Thunder once closed the point difference to 4 points. But looking back, Curry's unreasonable three-pointer and layup, once again

Help the Warriors open up the score.

With 4 minutes and 44 seconds left in the game, Green also hit a three-pointer, and the suspense of victory was about to be lost. But Durant used his strength to close the gap again. However, at the critical moment, Curry fouled from the outside and made all three free throws, completely helping

The Warriors sealed the victory.

In the end, after the whole game, the Warriors defeated the Thunder 96-88, eliminating their opponents with a big score of 4:3, becoming the first team in the history of the Western Conference Finals to achieve a major comeback from a 1-3 deficit.

For the Warriors, Curry scored 36 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists, and made 7 of 12 three-pointers. He was the biggest contributor to the win. Thompson contributed 21 points and 6 of 11 three-pointers.

Throughout this series, Thompson made a total of 30 three-pointers and Curry made 32 three-pointers. Both of them broke the record for three-pointers in a single series in NBA playoff history.

For the Thunder, Durant scored 27 points and 7 rebounds, while Westbrook contributed 19 points, 13 assists and 7 rebounds.

The tiebreaker was not an easy one. The Warriors trailed in the first half, and it was not until the third quarter that they relied on Curry's heroic performance to overtake the score.

Facts have once again proven that Curry is the most important person for the Warriors!

This series is quite exciting in history and is an unforgettable series for all Warriors fans.

However, although historically the Warriors have won this series, there is one piece of not-so-good news, that is, Barnes is in poor condition and is slowly becoming a substitute.

This is not good news for the finals.

Since all this happened in history, Deng Fang will not let history repeat itself!
