Chapter 32 The Tree of the World

The night is like a silent cage, covering the vast human land.

It is late at night, and Kassel College is like a giant dragon entrenched in the mountains and forests, sleeping silently.

The Kassel Academy Library stands under the starry sky, with forty-six marble columns supporting its strong back. It is as elegant and sacred as the Parthenon in Greece.

This antique building is magnificent and majestic. The light of the stars and the moon shines through the mosaic glass windows without any stagnation in the building. The exquisite porcelain-like water-polished granite floor tiles cover the nearly ten-meter-high first-floor hall and are slightly dotted.

Bright, ethereal and quiet.

In the ancient books area on the top floor of the library, which is even quieter than the first floor, the fine particles of dust are shaken off and fall into the moonlight, showing every detail.

There was a mountain of books piled up in front of Professor Guderian. He was scratching his gray curly hair, and every wrinkle on his face was filled with deep sorrow.

Just when he was at a loss what to do, the elevator numbers suddenly lit up, jumped one bar, and then changed every two seconds.

Apparently, someone is heading to the top!

Professor Guderian hurriedly restored the ancient books on the desk one by one with his extraordinary memory. He was holding his breath and breaking out in cold sweat, but this did not prevent his hands from moving quickly.

Ding!

The elevator door opened in response, but Professor Guderian was still a step too late!

He quickly ducked his burly body behind the bookshelf, picked up a thick "Ancient Egyptian Code" and held it high, staring at the slowly opening elevator door with his old eyes, waiting for the man to walk out of the elevator.

Give him a hard blow in an instant!

Holding his breath, the ancient books area was eerily quiet. Professor Guderian could even hear his own violent heartbeat.

If the visitors are those lunatics from the Executive Department, and he cannot make up a reasonable excuse within a minute to explain his suspicious behavior of tossing around the ancient books area in the middle of the night, then he will probably miss the honor of tenured professor for the rest of his life.

There is a blurry black shadow behind the elevator door, and someone is coming out!

Professor Guderian was about to use the "Ancient Egyptian Code" in his hand to send this uninvited guest to chat with Khufu's mummy and the Sphinx in his dream. When he was about to take action, a shiny bald head suddenly came into view.

The bald head that looked like a crystal ball reflected the dim light in the room a little brightly.

"Manstein?"

"Guderian?"

The scenes of patients meeting each other were always so unexpected and reasonable. Professor Guderian finally let go of his nervous heart and patted his chest as if he was surviving a disaster.

"What are you doing here?"

"I should ask you this question. Don't forget that I am the chairman of the Discipline Committee." Professor Manstein's eyes and head were shining with an unsmiling light.

"I...oh yes, I got hungry in the middle of the night and wanted to find a midnight snack!" Professor Guderian scratched his head and said with a smile.

"Midnight snack? Here?" Manstein looked around. Not to mention the late night snack, there wasn't even a cockroach around. The whole ancient books area only had endless ancient books and endless dust to sweep.

"That's right, it's right here! Spiritual food can make me feel more satisfied and full!" Professor Guderian shook the heavy "Ancient Egyptian Code" in his hand.

"Guderian, you can frighten others but you can't frighten me. I know you better than anyone else. Whenever you feel guilty, you will scratch your head. The patch on the back of your head is almost scratched by you. You haven't scratched it yet."

Did you find it?" Manstein's eyes flashed coldly.

Professor Guderian retracted his hand nonchalantly, feeling guilty and slandering at the same time, "Others can say that he is bald on the back of his head. Manstein, do you have the nerve to say this because you are a bald man with a barren head?"

"It's for your precious student, right? It's the 'S'-level Lu Mingfei who just entered the school today. His sensitivity to Long Wen is 0!" Manstein put it bluntly.

"How do you know..." Professor Guderian was stunned.

"This matter is already known to everyone in the school!" Manstein took out his mobile phone and opened the Night Watch Forum and held it in front of Professor Guderian's eyes. The posts on whether Lu Mingfei could pass the "3E" exam were still occupying the area.

Headlines.

"Nearly half of the students in the college participated in the betting opened by your good student Fingel on the Night Watch Forum, and the amount in the betting pool is almost close to one hundred thousand dollars!"

Manstein's tone was full of dissatisfaction and indignation. He was in charge of discipline, and students openly gambled in the college. That was his dereliction of duty as the discipline committee member!

["Disciplinary Committee Member Gerd Rudolf Manstein (Professor)" bet $1,000 [Yes].]

Professor Guderian stared at the screen and read out loud one of the replies in the post.

"Ahem, gambling is actually not under the control of the Department of Ethics and Discipline. The emperor still enjoys it with the people. I am also doing this to infiltrate the students, lest those students say that I am unsmiling and unselfish!" Manstein said, quickly

Mobile phone screen.

"It's true that Lu Mingfei didn't resonate with the 'Yan Ling Emperor', but he must be an 'S' class, because a very strange thing happened after that!" Guderian said mysteriously.

"Don't tell me that you two shed blood and confessed your relationship? Is he actually your illegitimate son? Or the principal's illegitimate son?" Manstein said with wide eyes.

"He learned the dragon verse I recited after only listening to it once. Then during his recitation, I fell into spiritual vision, deep spiritual vision!" Guderian stared at his old friend and said seriously.

"What kind of operation is this!" Manstein was obviously shocked by what his old friend said. "You mean, he can't resonate with Longwen, but he can recite it completely after listening to it only once.

Spiritual Emperor', and is it so powerful that it can also make you fall into deep spiritual vision?"

"That's right." Guderian's old face was full of seriousness.

"We all have the blood of the Black Dragon Emperor flowing in our bodies. The 'Word Spirit Emperor' should be effective on all blood descendants who surrender to the Dragon Emperor. There is only one blood descendant who does not have to surrender to the Dragon Emperor. Guderian, what did you think of?

"

"White...White King?" Guderian said in disbelief.

"Yes, this is mentioned in the "Dragon Tribe Secret Chapter", and we have also studied this topic together." Manstein whispered, "But it is impossible for the blood descendants of the White King to have the ability to recite the words.

LingĀ·Emperor', the Black and White Emperor is a natural mortal enemy!"

"This means that he is not a descendant of the White King!" Guderian breathed a sigh of relief, "What is that?"

"What if he is not a hybrid of dragons and humans?" Manstein said astonishingly, "He is not summoned by the emperor, but he has a bloodline that is superior to ordinary hybrids? After listening to Longwen once, he will

Being able to learn it means that he possesses supreme knowledge and wisdom. Based on this logic, what do you think of?"

As he spoke, Manstein took down a glass jar from the bookshelf behind Guderian, which contained an ancient copper scroll, "The Ice Sea Fragment Scroll, number ab0001, what is recorded in it is..."

The two said the name in unison, and their voices echoed in the empty and silent ancient books area, lingering, as if disturbing the entire night.

"World Tree, Yggdrasil!"
