Chapter 479: Past Events of the Magic Brush Sect

A pair of ancient paintings that look a little shabby hangs on the wall.

What is depicted in the picture is the canyon world where Xu Ke and Li Fan were previously capturing the World Breaker Whale.

There are no less than thirty volumes of paintings on the walls of the room here.

What surprised Li Fan was that some of the scrolls seemed to be covered with a layer of mysterious energy, blocking outsiders' investigation.

Even his [Destiny Mysterious Bird] cannot see clearly the content in the painting.

The blue luan bird flew out of the scroll and gently placed Xu Ke on the ground. Then it turned into a ray of blue light and disappeared into his arms.

"Xu Ke is back!" A young monk who had been napping in the room suddenly beamed with joy and rushed outside shouting.

Not long after, a bunch of monks rushed into the originally not very spacious room.

"It'll be nice to come back. He should have successfully found that World Splitting Whale, right?"

"The hard days are finally over!"

"Yes, as soon as Xu Ke leaves, that guy Lu Ya will follow him back, right?"

"Just because you have a strange beast, you go around bullying others! How abominable!"

"Senior Brother Liu, the last time you had a sparring match with Lu Ya, he didn't summon the [Tian Wu]. Didn't you still get beaten and beg for mercy on the spot?"

"I made a mistake! If it happens again..."

"Hush! Lu Ya is here!"

"Um..."

The noisy crowd instantly became quiet.

He even took the initiative to give up a passage so that Lu Ya could walk in smoothly.

The yellow-haired Lu Ya had no expression on his face, and without looking at the monks with different expressions around him, he went straight to Xu Ke, who was sleeping soundly.

His eyes stayed on Li Fan for a moment, and then fell gently on Xu Ke's face.

With a gentle wave, Xu Ke and Li Fan were picked up.

Striding out of the room, a monster with a tiger body and a human face suddenly appeared.

"Tian Wu..." The breath coming from the other party made Li Fan feel a little uncomfortable, and he subconsciously retracted some of Xu Ke's hair.

The tiger-body and human-faced monster roared, and Lu Ya jumped up and stood on its back.

The monster Tian Wu looked around as if he was showing off his power, and then flew into the sky.

"Lu Ya is extremely grateful for the three years of hospitality from the Shenbi Sect!"

"I will thank you deeply in the future. I will say goodbye today. You don't need to send me any more!"

Lu Ya looked down and said loudly, cupping his hands.

Without waiting for a response from the Shenbi Sect, he commanded Tian Wu and quickly disappeared into the sky.

"What's the air? It's just because of the power of the beast mastering sect!"

"Haha, Lu Ya is already in the late Nascent Soul stage. Coupled with that Tianwu beast, I think even the senior brother may not be his opponent."

"Yeah, who let us fail to live up to our expectations? We can't let our elders step in, right?"

"Forget it, forget it, just look like the leader, not as good as senior brother."

……

Before leaving, Li Fan vaguely heard some discussion coming from below.

Lu Ya didn't care at all, and flew away with Xu Ke and the others.

The scenery below keeps changing, crossing plains and mountains along the way.

After more than twenty days, the surrounding scenery finally became somewhat familiar.

We have already returned to the realm of the Beast Control Sect.

"Without the existence of the white fog barrier, traveling to various places in ancient times was much more convenient."

Li Fan was thinking this, but he vaguely felt that this trip to the Fallen Fairyland was coming to an end.

Xu Ke, who had been sleeping all the way, was finally woken up by Lu Ya.

"Eh? Senior Brother Lu Ya?"

Xu Ke rubbed his eyes in confusion, and saw Lu Ya standing straight in front of him, his clothes blowing in the wind, and said in confusion.

"Where is this?" Thinking that he was still dreaming, Xu Ke looked around again.

Li Fan gave him a hard claw, and Xu Ke suddenly woke up.

"Wow! Beast Control Sect! I'm back!" Xu Ke jumped out excitedly after recognizing the surrounding scenery.

A smile appeared on Lu Ya's face.

He touched Xu Ke's head and asked about his experience in searching for the World Breaker Whale in the past three years.

Xu Ke naturally complained bitterly.

After some comfort and praise, Lu Ya's face straightened up and he got down to business.

"Next, there is a more important thing to leave to you."

When he heard that he was going out again not long after he came back, Xu Ke's face suddenly fell.

However, looking at Lu Ya's solemn expression, Xu Ke nodded in agreement.

"Senior Brother Lu Ya, what's going on?"

"I want you to go to Nanming and deliver something for me." Lu Ya said in a deep voice.

"Nan Ming? I seem to have heard of it somewhere..." Xu Ke scratched his head, and after thinking for a while, he suddenly realized.

"Oh! It's the place where there are many monsters..."

Li Fan was about to listen carefully, but suddenly realized that the surrounding scenery and sounds had become blurry.

"This..."

No matter how helpless I feel, I can't change the rules of the Fallen Fairyland.

The next moment, after the world was spinning, Li Fan returned to the Tianxuan Mirror.

"Shenbi Sect, Nanming..."

Li Fan recalled what he had seen during his trip to the Fallen Immortal Realm. After pondering for a moment, he started searching in the Tianxuan Mirror.

Shenbi Sect, a medium-sized immortal sect in ancient times.

Entering Taoism with the pen, it is said that both calligraphy and painting can lead to spiritual enlightenment.

The disciples in the sect are all very good at calligraphy and painting, and there is even a legend that they can draw living creatures.

Unfortunately, after several catastrophes, almost no works can be preserved.

Even when Li Fan was in the museum, he couldn't see anyone who could be passed down to the next generation.

In today's world of immortality cultivation, there are not many records about the monks of the Shenbi Sect. Most of them are people with good deeds and unknown backgrounds.

Only the former head of the Divine Brush Sect, Chu Youhong, left a trace in history.

This person cultivated himself as a Nascent Soul, and took over the previous head's final orders to take charge of the Divine Brush Sect.

Because of his low level and weak strength, he is often looked down upon by the monks in the Shenbi Sect.

However, I was worried about the name of the leader, so on the surface it didn’t cause too much trouble.

Chu Youhong didn't take it seriously either. He treated the monks in his sect in a friendly manner, and he didn't seem to have the majesty of the leader at all.

Despite this, the responsibilities of head Chu Youhong have not been delayed.

All matters within the sect, big and small, must be handled personally.

Externally, we have also maintained good relations with many surrounding sects.

Thanks to his dedicated efforts, the Shenbi Sect recovered from the sudden death of its previous leader and the lack of disciples in the sect.

With this achievement, the disciples of the Shenbi Sect gradually recognized the identity of the head of Chu Youhong.

And after the cultivation level of the mortal disciples accepted by Chu Youhong improved by leaps and bounds, surpassing his own.

As a teacher is more important than a disciple, his position as the leader can be considered to be completely secure.

Seeing that everything is stable and improving, Shenbi Sect has a promising future.

Suddenly one day, a mutation broke out.

That outstandingly talented disciple, the senior brother of the Divine Brush Sect, turned out to be a spy sent by another sect [Stippling Sect]. And his target was the Supreme Treasure of the Divine Brush Sect, [Sky Painting Brush].

One night, under his control, the Dot Painting Sect raided the Divine Brush Sect.

The Shenbi Sect suffered countless casualties and was almost wiped out.
