Chapter 43: Scumbag with green tea

Principal's office,

Dumbledore opened the door and walked in, seeing Professor McGonagall already in the room.

Professor McGonagall was sitting on a chair, listening to the Sorting Hat singing with a drake voice, but her stern face and tight lips showed that she was about to reach the limit of her tolerance.

"Minerva, why are you here?" Dumbledore said in surprise.

"I'm reporting to you." Professor McGonagall said somewhat strangely, "Where have you been?"

Usually after the dinner party, Dumbledore would go directly back to the office. She waited for a long time without seeing anyone... The wait was fine, but the noise from the Sorting Hat made it uncomfortable.

"I just went to Poppy's for a dental appointment." Dumbledore walked over and sat down on the chair.

"Didn't you have your teeth replaced last year?" Professor McGonagall said in surprise: "You also said that Miss Granger's father's treatment skills are good."

"That's the tooth on the left." Dumbledore said with a smile: "This time it's the tooth on the right. It hurt so bad just now. Maybe it's because I ate too many chocolate cheese Mars bars..."

"Stop eating so many sweet things."

"Oh... I finally had time to go to a Muggle supermarket... and brought back a lot of stockpiles..."

"You just ate all the goods?!"

"Before you know it, don't be nervous Minerva, I actually want to share some with you."

"..."

Professor McGonagall couldn't help but glare at Dumbledore, did she mean this?

"Minerva, what are you reporting to me for?" Dumbledore stared at Professor McGonagall.

The walls were hung with portraits of the past principals of Hogwarts. They no longer pretended to be asleep and quietly opened their eyes to listen.

"What else can happen?" A wizard with a goatee and a silver and green Slytherin costume on the wall sneered:

"It must be about those two students riding the flying car to school. Has Gryffindor fallen to this level now?"

"Phineas, you can rest assured that on this point, Slytherin and Gryffindor are equally matched." A Gryffindor-born headmaster countered.

The portraits were all quarreling with each other.

Professor McGonagall ignored the quarrels among the portraits and whispered:

"Professor Dumbledore, I asked Potter again. He is very sure that the walls of platform 9 are impassable, but before that, the Weasley family had just entered."

"This is indeed something that has never happened before." Dumbledore said with deep eyes:

"To seal that entrance, you need a lot of magic. It can't be a student's prank."

"Maybe Potter is lying." Phineas interrupted again:

"This kind of student, if it were my time, he would have been hung in a dungeon and whipped with a whip."

"Thank you for your advice, Phineas!" Dumbledore leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms: "But I believe Potter and Weasley did not lie."

"I will investigate this matter." Dumbledore said calmly: "Is there anything else, Minerva?"

"Pomona and the others asked me to ask how long Lockhart will stay here." Professor McGonagall said softly.

"According to previous experience, I think he will not last more than a year at most." Dumbledore couldn't help laughing.

"One year! I might not be able to bear it for even a week." Professor McGonagall sighed:

"I still remember what Lockhart looked like when he was in school... He told everyone that he would make the Philosopher's Stone before graduation; he would lead the England Quidditch team to win the World Cup, and he also said that he would become the youngest Minister of Magic in the UK...

…”

"When he graduated, I breathed a sigh of relief! I didn't expect him to come back again!"

"And how many of the things he wrote are true?" Professor McGonagall said.

"Things may be true, but it was not Lockhart's doing." Dumbledore adjusted his glasses and said:

"Minerva, I happen to have a few friends who forgot some important things after coming into contact with Lockhart, and those things they forgot appeared openly in Lockhart's books.

The protagonist also transformed into Lockhart himself..."

"How dare he?!" Professor McGonagall looked stunned. She thought Lockhart was just bragging, but she didn't expect that he had done such a thing?

"I believe that if Lockhart is placed in Hogwarts, he will be exposed sooner or later." Dumbledore said softly.

"But, what can students learn from such a teacher?" Professor McGonagall was a little confused.

Dumbledore turned to look out the window and said slowly:

"Students can learn a lot from such a bad teacher... what kind of things not to do, what kind of people not to be."

"Minerva, you know? Sometimes I feel that our education is too simple. We only teach students magic, but do not guide them correctly so that they do not go down the road of no return."

"Lockhart is where our education fails."

The old man stood up and said softly:

"How far does a person have to walk to be worthy of the title of human being... These educations are sometimes more important than magic itself."

Professor McGonagall lowered her head and pondered.

late at night,

Hufflepuff lounge.

Luofu wore loose pajamas, sat cross-legged on the sofa, closed his eyes and rested.

I don't know how long it took, but there was a faint sound in my ears.

The boy opened his eyes and saw a ghost in a long dress floating through the wall and into the Hufflepuff common room.

Luo Fu didn't say any pleasantries and went straight to the point: "Fat monk said you have something to ask me about?"

Helena sat down next to him and said softly: "I saw the newspaper. It said that you went to attend Nicolas Flamel's secret meeting?"

"It's not a secret meeting, it's just Nico's funeral." Rolf knew what she was thinking and explained:

"I asked for you. Even Nico Flamel can't resist the attack of time, and he doesn't know how to resurrect you."

The female ghost with long hair reaching her waist did not speak, but just sat down next to the young man with her knees in her arms, looking pitiful to me.

Rolf ignored Helena, who had a gloomy face. He thought for a moment, pointed to the portrait of Hufflepuff on the fireplace, and asked:

"I saw a house elf in a frame, did you know that?"

"Hufflepuff used to be accompanied by a house elf." Helena rested her chin on her knees and said softly:

"But I haven't seen the portrait of the house elf. I can ask you. The other portraits in Hogwarts always know about it."

"Thank you then."

Helena, whose long hair was spread out on the sofa like a green lotus, raised her head and asked, "Why are you looking for it?"

Rolf didn't answer. He had only mentioned the contents of the four paintings to Newt. Even Shirley and the others didn't know. How could he tell Helena.

Helena did not ask too much about this matter. She continued: "When do you have time, can I take you to see my mother's grave?"

"Let's talk about it." Luo Fu looked like a scumbag who deliberately hangs on the woman. In his heart, Helena is also the top green tea for thousands of years.

Green Tea vs. Scumbag... can be considered equally matched opponents, it just depends on who can take advantage in the end.

"That's right." Luo Fe put his fingertips together and said, "The fat monk reminded me, be careful if Blood Man Barrow finds out about meeting you, he will cause trouble for me."

Helena bit her lip, her eyes filled with hatred and fear:

"I have nothing to do with him. I will tell him that I will marry you, even if it is a ghost marriage! Let him give up this idea!"

"..."
