Chapter 55 Snapes old textbooks

eight pm,

Neville and Hannah arrived at the lobby on the first floor early, but after waiting for a while, they did not see Snape. Instead, they saw Harry and Ron.

"Hey, why are you two here?" Hannah was a little surprised.

"I'm here to accept the punishment from school." Harry sighed, feeling a little tired and said:

"Professor McGonagall asked me to help Professor Lockhart and write a reply to his admirers."

"Wow, it's so easy!" Hannah exclaimed.

"Where can I feel more relaxed? I'd rather clean the toilet."

When Harry thought of Lockhart, he felt sick all over. He even thought maliciously, why didn't the guy stay in the hospital for two more days and why did he come out so soon?

"Harry, don't be ignorant of your blessings!" Ron complained: "I'm going to help Filch polish the silverware in the trophy room, and I'm not allowed to use magic. I'm going to use my hands the whole time!"

Harry could sit comfortably in the Defense Against the Dark Arts office, writing replies, chatting, and maybe having a snack, while he could only polish the silverware...

They are all punishments, why is the gap so big?!

"Ron, I'd rather trade with you!" Harry said with an annoyed look on his face: "Neville, where are you two?"

"We are going to clean up the potions classroom." Neville replied in a low voice.

Harry and Ron exchanged glances, and immediately felt balanced. It was obvious that it would be more terrifying to accept Snape's torture...

"Okay, it's time for your patient group to end. Don't talk about your illness here anymore." A cold sarcastic voice suddenly sounded not far away.

Snape came from the shadows, his robes flowing behind him like a giant bat, followed by Filch and Lady Norris.

The four people quickly shut up and did not dare to speak anymore.

Snape walked up to Harry, stared into his eyes, and said in a low voice: "Potter, what is your punishment tonight?"

Harry said nothing.

"Five points from Gryffindor, I don't want to ask a second time." Snape sneered.

Ron secretly kicked Harry and was deducted five points by Snape. In just a moment, Gryffindor deducted ten points. Harry reluctantly said:

"Write a reply for Professor Lockhart."

"That's it?!" Snape sneered: "A student who drives a speeding car to school should be punished like this?

I have to say that Professor McGonagall is sometimes very partial to the students in his own college."

"..."

At this moment, not to mention Neville and the others, even Filch couldn't help but glance at Snape.

Isn’t this a shameful thing to say?

"It's a pity, Potter, that you are not a student of my college, otherwise I would have made your night unforgettable."

After Snape finished speaking, he strode forward. Seeing Neville and Hannah still standing there stupidly, he turned his head and roared:

"You two, come here quickly... As expected, if an idiot stays with an idiot, they will only become more stupid!"

Neville and Hannah hurried after him and headed towards the Potions classroom.

"You need to clean every corner of the classroom..."

Snape led the two of them to the dark underground classroom, and when they passed through the glass jars placed along the wall, he said sternly:

"Don't wipe this, I'm afraid you will damage the glass jar I hold the specimens in!"

"The most important thing!" Snape walked up to the two dirty cauldrons, his dark eyes flashing with malice.

"You two always burn the cauldron... these two cauldrons are spare parts prepared for you.

It's best to wipe it clean, otherwise I can't guarantee what will happen if the residue is accidentally mixed in when brewing the potion in the future."

Neville and Hannah looked at the crucible with horror on their faces. This thing must have been untouched for more than ten years, right?

"I will come back to check from time to time, let's get started now." Snape turned and left the classroom.

When Snape's footsteps gradually moved away and disappeared completely, Neville trembled, glanced at the door timidly and said:

"Rolf, are you here?"

"Here we come." A figure slowly emerged in the air and appeared in the field of vision of Neville and Hannah.

Rolf was wearing a new robe. If Voldemort were here, he would feel a familiar aura and even scold Rolf for being shameless and stealing his magic.

Yes, the same magic was used in this robe and the scarf Quirrell wrapped around his head.

In the last school year, after helping Quirrell untie his scarf and enjoying the sunshine, Rolf got the magic. Its effect is to block the breath and effectively isolate the wizard from detection.

Some wizards can see through the Disillusionment Charm or the Invisibility Cloak, and the combination with this robe is perfect.

"How can I clean this crucible?" Hannah, who was wearing braids, wrinkled her face and was about to cry. "It's so thick with moss?"

"That's not moss." Luofu said softly, "That's hairy crab."

Hairy crabs are only less than one millimeter in size, but there are a lot of them. They are densely clinging to the crucible, which looks very scary.

Seeing that Hannah wanted to reach out and touch it, Rolf quickly stopped him and said:

"Hairy crabs are parasites. Never touch them with your hands. They can bite through the skin and suck blood, flesh and magic power."

Hairy crabs, like fleas, can easily inhabit the fur of swallow-tailed dogs and the feathers of augurs.

Of course, they will also destroy magic items such as wands and cauldrons, chewing the cores of wands, or feasting on potions left on cauldrons.

Muggle electrical appliances will suddenly malfunction, which is also the work of hairy crabs.

Therefore, hairy crabs are a pest to both wizards and Muggles.

Rolf did not bring any medicine to deal with hairy crabs, but the boy opened the black suitcase and whistled, and a group of Cornish elves flew out.

"The buffet is here, eat quickly." Luof pointed to the cauldron and signaled to the elves that you are welcome.

The group of little elves burrowed into the crucible. They liked to play pranks, but they were not shy about eating hairy crabs.

The group of hairy crabs quickly dispersed and fled in all directions. A few escaped from the crucible. A ball of flame appeared at the tip of Luof's finger, condensed into the shape of a salamander, and rushed towards the hairy crabs.

As soon as the salamander touched the hairy crab, it immediately burst into flames, making a crackling sound, and the air was filled with the smell of burnt feathers.

Neville quickly opened the window to let the smell dissipate faster.

After finishing the most difficult task of dealing with the crucible, all that was left was just chores, and the two of them quickly started cleaning.

Rove walked to the locker and opened the door.

There are no potion ingredients in the cabinet, but there are more than a dozen old books, as well as many scales, crystal bottles, daggers and mortars.

Rove rummaged through the pile of old books and soon saw the small print of "Half-Blood Prince" on the back cover of a worn-out "Advanced Potion Making".

"found it!"

Rolf grinned, took out his wand, tapped the textbook, and whispered:

"Copy in pairs!"

(Thanks to the three big guys "Magnetic Levitation Silver Bullet", "Xinghuimi" and "Just Love Wading Langshui" for the reward.)
