Chapter 134: Beautiful Umbridge

After finding Tom's diary and handing Wormtail to Dumbledore, Rolf instantly felt at ease and relaxed.

After leaving the principal's office, he still remembered the agreement and went to Ravenclaw Tower to chat with Shirley for a while.

It was really just a small chat, because not long after, a patron saint in the form of a tabby cat flew in and urged Luofu to go back to his dormitory to sleep.

Professor McGonagall, the head of Gryffindor, went to the Ravenclaw lounge to interfere in the Hufflepuff students' business?!

Is he still the vice-principal, the acting principal in name only? That’s okay.

However, Rolf was stubborn and ignored her. He insisted on chatting for one more minute before returning to the Hufflepuff lounge.

This is his last stubbornness!

When passing by Snape's office, Rove listened to the corner for a while. He heard moans and screams coming from the room, and there seemed to be a faint sound of whips.

It seems that Professor Snape is holding a class reunion with Peter Pettigrew to have an in-depth exchange of their "bitter stories" over the past eleven years.

Rolf slept peacefully and did not get up until the next morning. There must be no breakfast in the Great Hall. He went to the kitchen to eat some special pastries made by the house elves before slowly returning to the lounge.

Unexpectedly, he saw Shirley and Hermione at the door of the Hufflepuff lounge. The two girls were sitting on the barrels at the door waiting for him.

After seeing Rolf, Hermione quickly stood up, ran to him, grabbed his arm tightly, pulled him towards the auditorium, and said in a low voice:

"Shirley and I have been looking for you for a long time, where have you been!"

"I'm having breakfast in the kitchen." Luo Fe wondered: "What's wrong?"

"Dumbledore is looking for you. It seems that the Minister of Magic is here." Shirley said softly.

"Come on, come on!" Hermione grabbed Rolf's arm and ran outside.

"Fudge is here to take away Peter Pettigrew, not me. He can at most talk to me about the details of catching Peter." Rolf looked at the anxious girl and said with a smile:

"What's so impatient about this?"

"Do you really think it's just like this?" Hermione had a mysterious expression on her face.

"Otherwise?" Luofu raised his eyebrows and said, "Is there anything else? You can't say that I caught 'Hero Peter' and you want to expel me, right?"

"Of course not." Hermione grinned and said, "Rolph, I'm telling you, you might get...the Order of Merlin."

Luofu said "ah" in surprise.

Seeing the boy's disbelief, Hermione took out a piece of parchment from her pocket, which contained dense notes.

"In the past few days, I went to the library to check the records of all Merlin Medal recipients, and there were many cases similar to yours."

The girl pointed at the parchment and said excitedly:

"Look at this... In 1769, Octo captured a dark wizard who had been absconding for eight years and won the Order of Merlin Level 2. And in 1823, Williams helped a death row prisoner to be exonerated and proved that he was innocent...

"

Hermione listed five examples in a row. She finally coughed and concluded:

"You caught the Death Eater Peter Pettigrew who had been absconding for eleven years, and you also helped the innocent Blake to be convicted. Peter was another criminal who attacked the students..."

The girl raised her chin and said with joy, "You will definitely get the Order of Merlin!"

"Is that so?" Luofu couldn't help laughing and said, "You have so much confidence in me?"

"It's not that I have confidence in you, it's that I have confidence in my investigation!" Hermione hummed twice:

"Thirteen-year-old recipient of the Order of Merlin...wait, is your birthday here? I remember it was..."

"July 15th." Shirley interrupted.

"That's right!" Hermione said with excitement: "A twelve-year-old recipient of the Order of Merlin, the youngest recipient... Maybe no one will ever be able to break this record!"

Hermione held Shirley's hand and pulled her around Rolf in an excited circle.

Hermione had already begun to look forward to the day when the awards would be presented, and as a good friend, she went up to talk about her feelings. Shirley was infected by her, and her pretty little face was full of childish anticipation.

Luofu looked at the two girls with a speechless expression. He had already started to open the champagne for him before he even changed his horoscope, right?

If he doesn't get the Order of Merlin, can you two compensate him?!

In the potions office, a group of people gathered, guarding a short and fat wizard.

The short, fat wizard wore a velvet robe trimmed with mink, a long black cloak, and purple pointed boots. He held a dark green top hat under his arm and looked at Peter who was tied to the chair.

Peter, who had just taken the Veritaserum, confessed everything... completely.

After hearing this, Fudge looked very shocked.

Peter, the traitor, was remembered by everyone as a hero who escaped justice for eleven years; Blake, an innocent man, was imprisoned in Azkaban and tortured as a murderer!

Is there really such a magical thing in the world?!

How appalling!

At this moment, all the Aurors and Ministry of Magic officials who followed were in disbelief.

But Peter was right in front of them, so no one could help but disbelieve.

However, as the Minister of Magic, Fudge's first thought was not to uphold justice and vindicate Black, but to...scandal!

Doesn't the fact that Peter is still alive mean that the Ministry of Magic has created an unjust, false, and false story that lasted for more than ten years?

What a shocking scandal!

Fudge looked pale and wiped the sweat from his forehead with his sleeve. If this matter spread, it would definitely severely damage the credibility of the Ministry of Magic and affect his glorious image.

The truth must be concealed.

If the problem cannot be solved, then solve the person who raised the problem. Who discovered this?

Oh, is it Dumbledore? That's okay.

Fudge looked ugly, Dumbledore was not something he could deal with, at least not yet!

There was also a witch in the house. She was short and fat, with a broad, saggy face and a big mouth that drooped downwards.

The witch observed Fudge's face, leaned over, and whispered in a whisper that was inappropriate for her age:

This chapter is not over, please click on the next page to continue reading! "Mr. Minister, are you worried that this matter will spread and affect the reputation of the Ministry of Magic?"

"Um, no." Fudge glanced at the witch and coughed: "But it does affect it a little bit, right, Dolores?"

Dolores Umbridge had a fake smile on her face and was very excited.

She climbed to her current position step by step just by trying to figure out Fudge's thoughts... She guessed right again!

"It will indeed affect the image of the Ministry of Magic, but it will not affect your reputation. On the contrary, it will be greatly improved." Umbridge said with a flattering smile on her face.

"What is this statement?"

"Think about it, when Black was arrested, you were still the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Magic and Disasters, and you were not the one who handled this case."

Umbridge held up the small black velvet bow in her hair and said in a voice like a little girl:

"At that time, the capture of Death Eaters and subsequent interrogations were all the responsibility of Mr. Barty Crouch, then Director of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.

He is the first person responsible, and he is the one who created this unjust, false, and wrong case, which has nothing to do with you."

Fudge was stunned, and suddenly said excitedly: "Yes, I remember that Batty imprisoned Black in Azkaban without interrogating him."

"The minister is wise!" Umbridge lowered her voice and said:

"You just set things right and corrected the injustices and mistakes of more than ten years. Not only are you not wrong, but you are a good leader."

"Yes, you are right!" Fudge laughed.

Not only could this matter not be covered up, but it had to be made a big deal and directed towards Crouch as much as possible. It would be best if he lost his position as Director of the Department of International Magical Exchange and Cooperation.

Crouch was Fudge's biggest political opponent at the time, and Crouch was generally considered to be able to become Minister of Magic.

But after Crouch's son Barty Crouch Jr. was discovered to be a Death Eater, the opportunity was lost and Fudge made a big mistake.

Crouch is still very influential and has a high position, and he has a chance to become a minister again.

Fudge must press him to death to prevent him from coming back... now is the best chance!

"Barty, don't blame me for being ruthless. Who made us rivals? Only when you completely lose the chance can I feel at ease."

Political struggle is not about human relations, but about fighting and killing!

Fudge already had an idea. He looked at Umbridge again and said with a smile:

"Dolores, you are really good. You are worthy of being my right-hand man. How should I reward you?"

Umbridge laughed, showing a shy little daughter attitude and said:

"Minister, I don't have any merit. It's all because of your daily training. As long as I can study with the minister... I will be satisfied for the rest of my life."

"Okay, okay!"

Fudge said three words in a row, and he looked at Umbridge. When someone is happy, looking at her suddenly makes her look more beautiful!
