Chapter 91 Saving Big Bird...Buckbeak

Shirley and Hermione came to the Quidditch pitch to see Rolf. They had made an appointment with him to visit Hagrid today.

Since the teaching accident in the Care of Magical Creatures class, Hagrid has not been seen in the auditorium for a week, and everyone has rumored that he has lost contact.

When they crossed the grass and came to Hagrid's cabin, they found a Hippogriff tied to the door.

Its name was Buckbeak, and it was it that hurt Malfoy.

Ya Ya was sitting at the door, barking at Buckbeak and trying to bite his hind legs. He looked very ferocious, like a large dog.

Shirley exclaimed and said in surprise: "Is Yaya so powerful now?"

In her memory, Yaya was very timid and would always be the first to run away when in danger.

Rolf thought for a moment, then suddenly raised his wand and pointed it at the rope around Buckbeak's neck.

The rope fell off the wooden stake. Buckbeak expanded his range of activities and walked towards Fang. The horse's hoofs stepped on the ground and made a "de" sound.

Yaya immediately curled up on the ground, his barking turned into a howl, and then he wagged his tail desperately, looking very humble.

As expected of you, Yaya!

Such a shameful behavior was despised by Rolf, Shirley and Hermione.

Even Crookshanks in Hermione's arms glanced at Fang with a look of disgust.

Rove walked to the cabin, knocked on the door, and said, "Hagrid, are you at home?"

The door opened, revealing Hagrid's big bearded face. His eyes were red and swollen, and tears were running down his cheeks and falling on the front of his leather vest.

"Woooo... You three little guys are here... Come in quickly."

This was the first time for all three of them to see Hagrid cry like this, and they were all shocked by him.

They walked into the room and found that Harry and Ron were still sitting in the wooden house. They also came to visit Hagrid.

Rolf smelled the strong smell of alcohol. He sniffed and frowned: "Hagrid, how much alcohol have you drunk?"

"Rolf, I just counted." Harry whispered: "There are seventeen bottles of Firewhiskey alone, and four barrels of butterbeer, all of which are empty..."

"..."

"Rolph, I need alcohol to numb my nerves now." Hagrid picked up a large single-handled wine glass about the same size as a bucket and poured tons and tons of it.

"Hagrid, didn't the school fire you?" Shirley asked.

"But the school directors already know that I caused a teaching accident." Hagrid pulled his hair and said painfully:

"They think I jumped in and they should let the hippogriff play later... It's all my fault..."

"Hagrid, don't worry, the school will not fire you." Rolf comforted: "Look at Professor Snape, he also caused a teaching accident, but he still did a good job."

"That's because no one complained about Professor Snape, but Malfoy won't let me go...he keeps complaining and moving." Hagrid sobbed, and his whole body was shaking.

"I also heard that he hopes to hand over Buckbeak to the Ministry of Magic's Committee on Disposal of Dangerous Creatures, and the school's board of directors is discussing this suggestion."

"Will the Ministry of Magic give a fair trial?" Harry asked.

"Justice?" Hagrid choked and wiped his tears with his sleeve:

"Harry, you don't understand the Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures. They are a group of cruel wizards who hate all magical creatures."

"Yes, I also heard my father say it." Ron shuddered and said, "No magical creature that enters there can escape the judgment, and will eventually be killed."

"Why?" Harry asked puzzledly.

"The Committee for the Handling of Rumored Hazardous Organisms has long-term cooperation with some pharmacies." Rove explained:

"Pharmacies cannot kill rare magical creatures, as that would violate the law. However, the Committee on the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures has the power to sentence magical creatures to death.

They will then sell the animal carcasses to pharmacies, so it is not illegal, and this has formed an industrial chain."

This kind of thing is just like buying and selling organs. There are always various channels anyway.

It was the first time for several people here to hear about this kind of thing, and their faces were full of shock.

"That's right." Hagrid cried bitterly, and his whole body twitched violently.

"It's not bad that Buckbeak died under an axe, but if his body was sent to a drugstore, I wouldn't be able to accept it."

Harry felt very powerless and asked: "What did Dumbledore say, Hagrid?"

"Dumbledore has done enough for me." Hagrid groaned: "It's hard enough for him just to prevent those dementors from entering the castle, and there is Peter wandering around. I can't do this again."

Trouble him with small things."

Harry looked at Ron again and said, "Then Mr. Weiss..."

"Harry, my father works in the Department for the Prohibition of the Misuse of Muggle Articles." Ron's pale lips stammered:

"He can't control the Disposal Committee, and he was suspended for a period of time last year because of Feitian Motors..."

"Then there's nothing we can do?" Harry said angrily, "This matter is Malfoy's fault."

Shirley stared into Luo Fu's eyes and said in a soft voice: "Luo Fu, do you have any idea?"

Others may not have the solution, but Luofu will definitely have it. He can always solve all problems... This is her biggest feeling after several years of getting along with him.

Luofu gave the ponytail girl a smile and said calmly:

"As long as we don't let this matter go and hand it over to the Committee for Disposal of Dangerous Creatures."

"In the final analysis, this matter is a teaching accident. Hippogriffs are also teaching equipment. The Education Bureau has full authority to take over."

"But I don't know anyone in the Education Bureau." Hagrid said in a hoarse voice.

At this moment, everyone's eyes were focused on Luo Fu, and the young man said softly:

"I have an acquaintance...Mrs. Gsilda Marchban, who works as a director in the Education Bureau, and I met her at Nico's funeral.

We have been corresponding throughout the year and we were able to get her to come forward and review the matter."

"Is that okay?" Hagrid became excited.

"Of course." Rolf nodded: "But Mrs. Gsilda Marchbain will not favor anyone. She is very fair and will not accept Malfoy's threats, but she will not listen to our one-sided words.

So Hagrid, you can’t be so decadent anymore, you must work hard to teach your Care of Magical Creatures class first, at least you can’t have another teaching accident, and drinking will make it worse.”

"Yes, I also think you've drunk enough, Hagrid, you can't touch alcohol again in the future."

Hermione stood up, took the single-handled wine glass off the table, walked outside and poured the wine, and she threw the other bottles out.

This behavior seemed to frighten Hagrid. He rubbed his cheek and cheered up: "You are right, I can't drink anymore."

He stood up from the chair with great effort and put his head into the bucket to wake himself up a little.

Luo Fu stood up, everyone focused their attention on him, and he said seriously:

"Anyway, Hagrid, you have to listen to us next. Don't worry, with me here... we will win this trial and let Buckbeak be acquitted from the Ministry of Magic.

Don’t forget, I’m a magizoologist!”
