Chapter 183 The legendary treasure chest

Rolf listened quietly to Gryffindor's words. He didn't say anything. He just folded his hands and was lost in thought. After a long while, he said:

"That island...are those mermaids protecting something?"

"There are many things on the island, but the most precious one..." Gryffindor said solemnly: "The legend is that it is a box."

"Box?" Luofu's eyes widened, and he once again thought of the third painting in Nico's "Book of Abraham":

In a room, there is a sealed box with a tree growing on it. There is also a wizard holding a sword. Behind him is a green dragon with a hat on his head.

Could it be this box?!

The boy opened his mouth, and Gryffindor seemed to know what he wanted to ask, shaking his head and saying:

"Rolf, I don't know what's in the box. In fact, I heard what others said about that box..." Zuo

Cassandra waited for a long time, but did not wait for the next step. She asked curiously: "Who did you listen to?"

"Rowner Ravenclaw." Gryffindor glanced at Cassandra and replied:

"She once entered that island alone."

When Gryffindor said this, he simply stood up and walked slowly around the bonfire. He said in a daze:

"Many years ago, Rowena was searching for the ruins of an ancient wizard on the Atlantic Ocean. However, he encountered a storm and the ship he was on sank to the bottom of the sea."

Gryffindor put his hands behind his back, walked half a circle around the bonfire, and continued:

"Rowner has been drifting on the sea for a long time, and happened to encounter a ship... a ghost ship!"

Rolf didn't speak, but his mind suddenly recalled the ghost ship he encountered when he took the Mayflower to the United States during the summer vacation, and the coffin dragged behind the ship.

Gryffindor didn't pause and said in a gentle voice:

"After Rowena entered the ghost ship, it drifted in the fog all night. The ship finally docked at an island, that mysterious island... Speaking of which, this was already seventeen years ago."

Hearing the words "seventeen years ago", Luo Fu's eyes flashed and he muttered:

"I heard from Professor Hufflepuff that Professor Ravenclaw drank some spring water to give birth to Helena. Did she drink it on that island?"

"That's right!" Gryffindor nodded, slowed down and said:

"There are many magical springs on that island. One of them is that after drinking it, life will be born, even if it is a virgin!" Zuo

"There is such water?" Cassandra's face was full of surprise.

"Don't be surprised... there are many records of virgin conception in history."

Gryffindor stopped, stood with his hands behind his hands, and said in a deep voice:

"The most famous one is Mary. She actually drank from that spring before becoming pregnant out of wedlock and giving birth to... Jesus."

"Actually, I've always wanted to give it a try." Gryffindor blinked and laughed happily:

"Let's see if we can also get a God-given child."

"..." Zuo

"I'm just kidding." Gryffindor laughed and said, "Anyway, that island is magical. I've always wanted to go, but I can't find its location."

Luofu thought for a moment and then asked: "You went to the tribe of the two-tailed mermaid just to find out where the island is?"

"That's not entirely true." Gryffindor nodded and shook his head:

"If that group of mermaids could find the island, they would have gone there long ago. Their information is limited, but..."

Gryffindor paused, "Perserope chased Odysseus and took something with her when she left the island. I mainly went to look for that thing."

Luo Fu lowered his eyelids and murmured: "The key."

Gryffindor was really shocked this time. He looked at the boy hesitantly. This was information he had only obtained after many years of investigation!

He frowned and said, "Rolf, do you even know this?"

"I heard from Myrcella. She said that a thousand years ago, you took something away from their tribe."

Luo Fu spoke slowly and unhurriedly, explaining:

"Later I asked the Sorting Hat, and it told me that it was a key. It also said that the key was in Hogwarts, and you had placed it in a place marked by the mermaid."

"Is this so?" Gryffindor walked slowly again, tapped the palm of his other hand with his wand, and said after thinking:

"Actually, what I took away was just a map. I haven't found the key yet, and I'm not even sure whether the map is authentic or not.

But the news you brought about the future just shows that the map is true."

"Haha..." Gryffindor was a little excited, and he laughed loudly: "When I find the key, I will hide it in the place marked by the mermaid as you said."

Rolf was stunned. Gryffindor placed the key at the place marked by the mermaid...or was it because of himself?

The young man stretched out his hands and rubbed his cheeks. His return this time seemed to have inadvertently contributed to the occurrence of many historical events.

"By the way, Professor Gryffindor, is there any way to eliminate greyscale?" Luofu asked Myrcella.

"Yes, but it's just a guess!" Gryffindor nodded and said, "I heard Rowena say that there is a spring on that island called the Good Luck Spring.

Around the Fountain of Good Luck, many herbs grow, which can cure all curses and diseases."

Luo Fu was stunned for a moment.

Sensing the change in the boy's expression, Gryffindor asked: "Rolf, what's wrong with you? Did you remember any important information again?"

Luo Fu hummed and said in confusion: "In my time, I did hear that there was an island hiding a good luck spring, but its location was fixed in... the North Sea."

"North Sea?"

"Yes, that island is in the North Sea." Luo Fu said solemnly: "It's not just wandering around the world with no fixed abode, as you said."

"That's strange." Gryffindor pondered, and for a moment he was filled with suspicion and asked curiously: "Have you been there?"

"No, but I have a map here."

Luofu took out a small wallet. The wallet used a traceless expansion spell to expand a lot of space and contained many items.

He quickly took out an ancient parchment nautical map, with all kinds of exquisite and terrifying magical sea creatures drawn on it, as if they were about to roar out of the map.

Gryffindor took the map, looked around, and frowned: "Rolf, where did you get this map?"

"It's also a ghost ship." Rove explained: "The captain got the map from another ghost ship when he was young, and later bought a ship to find the Fountain of Good Luck.

When it reappeared, only the ghost ship and the map were left, and the captain and crew had disappeared."

"That's it." Gryffindor looked at the map, pondered for a long time, and said, "It seems I'm going to the North Sea, Rolf... will you go with me?"

"I won't go." Luofu shook his head and said:

"The owner of the ghost ship met a friend of mine. That friend warned me not to try to find these things. The consequences of believing in them would be death."

He said that the reason why those ships became ghost ships was because they were trying to find the Fountain of Good Luck and were cursed...the curse of death!

Professor Gryffindor, I am a timid person."

"No wonder you didn't enter my academy because you lacked some courage."

Gryffindor laughed, he was filled with pride and grinned:

"It would be great if there really was a God of Death in the world. I could try to kill him with this sword!"

Luofu smiled and said nothing.

"After you got the Stone of Destiny, are you ready to go back a thousand years in the future?" Gryffindor asked again.

"Yes." Rolf nodded. He looked at the bonfire, but in his heart he was thinking about Helena, who he missed unexpectedly.

Before going back, he had to go to the Albanian forest... to help collect her body.
