Chapter 185 Slytherins Conspiracy

Helena thought that many people would come looking for her, but she didn't expect that Barrow would be the first one to show up.

She stared at the scrawny man in front of her, her pale blue eyes filled with disbelief.

"My mother asked you to come to me? Impossible... you are lying! How could she send you here?!"

"If Professor Ravenclaw hadn't told me your location, how would I have known that you were hiding in the Albanian forest?"

Barrow walked over. He was wearing a simple brown robe, and his thin, dry face looked even more ferocious in the moonlight.

"Professor Ravenclaw is ill." Barrow said hoarsely, "Helena, please come back with me."

"My mother is sick?" Helena's heart suddenly tightened, and she asked with worry on her face: "What disease?!"

"I don't know, but it's very serious." Barrow said hoarsely: "Professor Ravenclaw desperately wanted to see you, so he sent me to find you.

Helena, go back and take the crown you took...where did you put it?!"

Hearing the word crown, Helena suddenly calmed down and asked:

"Where is Professor Hufflepuff? Her healing skills are very good and she can cure any disease."

"You'll find out when you get back!" Barrow was a little impatient. His voice was rough and harsh, like steel scraping against rock.

"Let's go quickly... take your crown."

Helena stepped back and said fiercely: "I won't go with you!"

"No, you want to come with me, you must come with me!" Barrow became irritable and shouted:

"As long as I bring you and the crown back, as a reward...the professor will marry you to me!"

Helena was so shocked that she couldn't speak for several seconds. She knew that Barrow had always liked her, ever since she entered school, but she had never liked him.

"Wishful thinking, my mother won't let me marry you! I won't agree either, it's best to give up on this idea!"

"Why?" Barrow's face was covered with a shadow of anger, and he asked:

"Helena, I like you so much and come all the way from Hogwarts to find you...Why do you always reject me?"

Helena looked at Barrow with disgust, then quickly looked away, as if looking at him one more time would make her sick to her stomach.

"You are too ugly! Even if I die, I will not marry you. Can you stop pestering me?"

Helena's disgusted eyes and indifferent expression instantly angered Barrow, and he said with a gloomy face:

"Follow me...I want you to come with me!"

Helena could feel Barrow's anger, she could see it from the expression on his face, from his twisted and tight lips, and from the way he looked at her.

"Barro... stay away from me, you're scaring me."

"Nothing can scare you. Look at me, you look at me!"

Barrow became more and more agitated. His face turned red, veins popped out in his neck, and his eyes were bloodshot. He reached out to grab Helena, but was dodged.

Barrow's face was ferocious, his eyes were red, and he completely fell into madness. He suddenly raised the short knife in his hand and stabbed Helena in the chest.

Helena stared at Barrow in disbelief. She felt blood flowing from her chest and dripping onto her arms. She couldn't help but tremble, but the last bit of strength left her.

Helena fell to the ground.

Barrow, who had seemed crazy just now, suddenly woke up. His eyes were wide, frighteningly white, and full of fear.

"Helena, I...I didn't mean it." Barrow's voice was nothing but frightened murmurs. He knelt on his knees, trembling like a withered leaf in the storm.

"I didn't mean it! I was deceived! Helena, I didn't want to kill you! Teacher, why did you lie to me!"

"You didn't do it on purpose, or was it unintentional?"

A strange voice suddenly sounded in Barrow's ears. He turned around and saw a strange boy sitting on a tree not far away.

In his hand was Ravenclaw's diadem!

Barrow stared at the young man and said slowly: "Who are you? Why are you here? Why do you have the crown in your hand?!"

"Who am I...you will know later." Luofu leaned against the tree trunk, crossed his legs, looked at Barrow with squinted eyes, and said:

"Why am I here...Helena told me she was here.

As for the crown, it was hidden by Helena in a tree hole and I just found it.

Well, as a fair exchange, it’s time for you to answer my questions.”

Luofu jumped down from the tree. He walked towards Barrow and asked: "You just said that the teacher lied to you...which teacher? How did he lie to you?!"

Barrow suddenly reached out and grasped the wand at his waist. Rolf had already taken the lead and turned his wrist. The vines burst out of the ground, tilted straight up, entangled Barrow's ankles, and instantly tripped him to the ground.

The young man waved his magic wand and said: Expelliarmus!"

The wand fell into Rolf's hand, and Barrow's body flew backwards like a bow that had been stretched to the full moon.

Barrow was grabbed by the vines again, and the taut tree vines threw him to the ground. His body slid for a while, leaving a mark on the ground.

Rolf strode forward, walked to Barrow's side, stepped on the back of his face, and applied more force. Probably because the skull was stronger than the mud, the whole head sank into the ground little by little.

The young man raised his foot and stepped on it hard. Barrow spit out a large mouthful of blood, and a pool of red appeared on the ground, which was shocking.

"Professor Ravenclaw didn't send you here at all. I asked her, who asked you to come?!"

Luofu looked at the silent Barrow and sneered:

"You won't tell me, right? It's okay, I have Veritaserum."

Roff grabbed Barrow's hair, took out a small bottle, and poured the potion into it.

"Tell me, who sent you to find Helena?!"

When Barrow opened his eyes, his eyes were expressionless and he said:

"My teacher...Salazar Slytherin."

"Slytherin?" Rove heard a very unexpected name, and his face gradually became serious.

"Why did he ask you to come?"

"The teacher said that Helena is hiding here. As long as I find the crown and destroy it...he can make Helena fall in love with me..."

Destroy the crown?

Luo Fe was a little surprised and asked: "Then why did you say he lied to you?"

"I have mania, and I lose control when I get angry." Barrow replied: "The teacher gave me a bottle of magic potion. He said it could help me suppress my mania and asked me to find Helena.

But he lied to me!"

"Where is Slytherin?"

"The teacher went to the southwest corner of the Albanian forest. He went to intercept Ravenclaw."

Barrow took a deep breath tremblingly, and then said in a flat tone without emotion:

"The teacher wants to kill Ravenclaw."

Rolf was completely stunned. He was silent for a long time, raised his wand, pointed it at Barrow and said:

"Everything is forgotten!"
