Chapter 83 Rolf: Do you want to die, Crouch?

Following the house elf Winky, the three of them walked into the tent.

This is both a living room and a study.

The four walls are lined with bookcases, and there are two tables - one is a large writing desk in the center of the room, and the other is a round table. There is a lamp in the center of the table, and the latest newspapers and periodicals in various languages are displayed in a star shape around it.

There is a filing cabinet next to the desk, and each drawer is marked with gold letters.

"Hey." A wizard raised his hands and shouted happily: "We have a distinguished guest!"

Rove recognized Ludo Bagman at a glance. He was sitting on an old-fashioned leather sofa and was wearing a large Wasps Quidditch uniform.

Barty Crouch sat opposite him. Even in his own home, his body was still upright and he was wearing a spotless crisp suit and tie.

Winky served three more cups of tea and then left. Sirius smiled and asked:

"Hey, Ludo, why are you here?"

"I came to see Barty for something, Sirius." Ludo said with a smile on his face:

"The Minister of Magic from Bulgaria came, but we couldn't understand what they said, so I came to Barty to help translate. He can speak about 150 languages... What are you doing here?"

Crouch also looked at the three of them curiously. He came to the camp yesterday and received a letter from Scamander in the evening, saying that he would come to visit today.

The two had met on the floating dragon boat heading to Berlin, and Scamander could be regarded as his savior... Crouch did not refuse.

But Crouch didn't expect that Rolf would also bring Black and Lupine to visit.

"I'm here to catch up with Mr. Crouch." Rove sat on the sofa and said with a polite smile, "I want to talk to him about an old case by the way."

Hearing the word "old case", Crouch frowned and said seriously:

"If it is about the case of Peter and Sirius, I was indeed too arbitrary and did not hold a trial. However, I think I have already apologized."

"Rolf, Sirius... let this matter pass." Ludo also acted as a peacemaker and said to Xini:

"Barty has lost his position as Director of the International Magical Cooperation Department and has been duly punished."

"Yes, Sirius was only imprisoned in Azkaban for twelve years, but Mr. Crouch lost his position as director." Rolf said with a smile:

"This punishment is indeed a bit excessive."

Hearing that the young man was so sinister, Crouch frowned even more tightly and said coldly:

"So, what exactly do you want to do? Do you want me to completely lose my position in the Ministry of Magic?"

"That's a good suggestion!" Luofu showed admiration, leaned back on the chair, and said with a smile:

"But it's not good enough. I think I can send you to Azkaban and lock you up for twelve years. Is that fair?"

Crouch looked grim, while Ludo sighed secretly, lamenting that Rolf was too young.

Crouch is an ancient pure-blood family and has blood relations with many senior officials of the Ministry of Magic. Barty himself has also been in the Ministry of Magic for decades... he has deep and wide connections.

A year ago, when the Sirius case broke out, under fierce public opinion, Fudge could only suspend Barty for investigation, and finally returned to the Ministry of Magic without any pain.

A year later, even if they want to settle old scores, it is impossible to let Barty enter Azkaban... Even if Rolf has just received two Merlin Orders, he is in full swing!

"I was just joking." Luofu suddenly laughed, breaking the awkward silence, and he said:

"Mr. Crouch, we are actually not here for the Sirius case, but for another old case."

Crouch was not in the mood to joke, and his voice became colder and colder: "What case?"

"The case of your son Barty Crouch Jr." Rolf said with a smile on his lips: "I suspect that like Sirius... he was wrongly accused!"

These words were so shocking that not only Ludo was dumbfounded, but even Crouch was stunned.

For a long time, Ludo was so shocked that he couldn't speak. He stammered: "Rolf, you...you...know what you are talking about?"

"Of course I know." Luo Fu smiled, took a leisurely sip of tea and said, "I have evidence."

Crouch stared at Rove, his eyes bulging outward. "What evidence!"

"When I heard Sirius talk about the past, he said that Barty Crouch Jr. had received twelve O.W.Ls certificates at Hogwarts, and also received the special contribution award to the school." Rolf clicked his tongue:

"Your son is academically successful, grew up in a good family environment, and has a great father like you. He clearly has the best future...how could he become a Death Eater and go down a wrong path?"

"That's enough!" Crouch yelled and stood up from his chair, his voice full of annoyance.

"Oh, don't worry, Mr. Crouch, I haven't finished speaking yet." Rove stood up and walked slowly in the room:

"The more I thought about it, the more I felt something was wrong. The more I thought about it, the more I couldn't sleep. So I went out for a walk in the camp at night. Guess who I saw?"

"Who did you see?" Ludo asked, holding his breath and concentrating.

"I saw it..." Rolf lowered his voice and said with a smile on his face: "Barty Crouch Jr.!"

The entire tent fell silent again, Crouch's face became stiff, every line was very prominent, and his eyes were a little frightened.

"This - impossible - impossible," Ludo said repeatedly: "The child is already dead, and died in Azkaban a long time ago.

Rolf, how could you possibly see him? Is it a ghost?"

"It's not a ghost." Rolf said with a polite smile, but his eyes were fixed on Crouch's eyes.

"It's the living little Barty. He told me that he was not dead and was rescued from Azkaban that year.

He also discussed Quidditch with me for a while and felt that the Irish team would win the final..."

Ludo's face was filled with astonishment, as if he was listening to a terrifying ghost story.

"That's enough!" Crouch yelled, cold anger dripping from every syllable.

"Perhaps Scamander is hinting that I rescued my son back home?"

"Yes, that's what I mean." Luofu said in a slightly mocking tone:

"You are so clever, Mr. Crouch, for understanding what I mean so quickly."

Then there was a very oppressive silence. Ludo seemed to be frightened and he stammered:

"Rolph, Mr. Crouch...not...definitely not that kind of person..."

Crouch suddenly drew his wand.

But Rove was faster. He swung his fist and hit Crouch on the cheek, knocking him to the ground with a bang. Then he raised his wand and pointed it at Crouch's head.

He looked disdainfully at the man who was once just one step away from the minister and said coldly:

"Do you want to die, Barty Crouch?"
