Chapter 85 The Dark Mark

Standing in the tent, Fudge looked at Barty Jr. blankly, and then at his father Barty Sr. He was completely dumbfounded.

Fudge really wanted to give someone a slap in the face to prove that he was not dreaming.

But looking around, even Umbridge, who was usually the most lovable person, was hiding far away, not wanting to be beaten by him.

After all, this kind of thing is fun in bed, but it's insulting in public.

Fudge had nowhere to vent his emotions, and he had no choice but to stare at Barty Crouch Jr.

A person who has been dead for thirteen years is actually "resurrected" again. Who would believe it... Hey, wait, why are these words so familiar? It seems like I said them last year!

The Fudge people are going crazy.

First Peter Pettigrew, then Barty Crouch Jr., these damn Death Eaters were resurrected in turn... Let's play!

If the excitement continues like this, if one day Rolf suddenly tells him that Voldemort has been resurrected... Fudge feels that he may be calm and even want to laugh!

Compared to the irritable Fudge, Dumbledore seemed much calmer. After quietly listening to Barty Crouch Jr.'s explanation, he asked:

"Barty, is he telling the truth?"

Crouch said nothing, Dumbledore just looked at him calmly, saying nothing, just waiting quietly.

After a while of silence, Crouch nodded slightly and said in a hoarse voice:

"Yes, I did all that, Albus... I took my wife and went to Azkaban. Ayesha took Polyjuice Potion to replace Barty Jr."

"Dementors have no eyes. They only smell a healthy person and a dying person walking into Azkaban, and they smell a healthy person and a dying person leaving Azkaban... they don't know.

, in fact, the package was swapped.”

"Ha!" Fudge said with a mocking tone:

"I always thought that the great Barty Crouch was ruthless, tough, uncompromising, and even regarded reputation as more important than life. I didn't expect that he was also a sanctimonious guy."

"I can't help it." Crouch said with bitterness. "After Barty Jr. was arrested, Ayesha has been immersed in sadness. Her body collapsed very quickly. No matter how she treats it, she can't be cured."

"That night, she begged me and said how terrible and cruel it was for her son to die in Azkaban when he was still young. She wanted to replace Barty Jr. with herself... I said she was crazy."

Crouch whispered softly, more like talking to himself than to anyone present.

"Ayesha told me...she was going to die, and she made one wish before she died, asking me to help her...if I didn't agree, she would never forgive me."

Crouch's eyes suddenly opened, and there was deep pain in his hoarse voice.

"Due to work, my wife and I spent half of our marriage separated and the other half arguing, but I have always loved her.

She had just such a wish before she died... In the end, my emotions overcame my reason, and I abandoned all my honor... But I have no regrets."

"Then you and your damn son will stay in Azkaban forever!" Fudge said fiercely.

Crouch was not afraid, but instead breathed a sigh of relief. This lie had been with him for thirteen years and still harassed him in his dreams from time to time. He could finally sleep well.

He looked at Luo Fu, who was sitting a little further away drinking tea, and said in a hoarse voice:

"Mr. Scamander, I apologize for my previous rudeness."

Rove shook his head and said calmly: "Crouch, you shouldn't apologize to me, you should apologize to Bertha Jorkins.

You cast a forgetting spell on her, causing permanent damage to her memory. It was you... who ruined her life."

Crouch sat sluggishly on the sofa.

Rolf, Dumbledore and Fudge walked out of Crouch's tent together.

"I can't believe that Crouch would do such a thing." Fudge was still chattering.

"By the way, Rolf, how did you find out that Barty Crouch Jr. was still alive?"

Luofu had already dealt with this problem. He took out an eyeball from his pocket and whispered:

"I was studying it at camp and I happened to see Barty Crouch Jr."

"Mad-Eye's magic eye...how come you have it in your hand?" Fudge looked surprised.

"It's not Mad-Eye's magic eye." Rolf shook his head, "This is the magic eye I bought from Bo Jin Bock's store, but it was already broken at the time."

"I can confirm this," Dumbledore said. "When we were in Berlin, Rolf even asked me for advice on how to repair it."

It turns out that discovering Barty Crouch Jr. was just a pure coincidence... Fudge took a breath, he almost thought that the boy knew everything.

Umbridge saw several people chatting, but she hesitated to speak. Finally, she couldn't help interrupting the three of them, and said in a low voice:

"Mr. Fudge, according to the time, the Quidditch World Cup final will start at half past seven, but it is almost eight o'clock now... everyone is waiting for you!"

Fudge's expression changed drastically. Because of Crouch's incident, he actually forgot about the World Cup.

He was extremely anxious and said: "Quick... quick... let's go to the stadium quickly!"

"You go ahead." Dumbledore said, "I will take Crouch back to the Ministry of Magic first."

"OK!"

Inside the Quidditch stadium, a deafening roar could be heard, like a pot of sticky porridge boiling.

This was the Quidditch World Cup final, and it was delayed for half an hour. It was really outrageous!

Therefore, the boos and yells of nearly a hundred thousand wizards created a huge noise.

As tonight's commentator, Ludo Bagman, sat in the top box, waiting for Fudge, while vividly describing the scene of capturing Crouch.

"When Rove said that Barty Crouch Jr. was still alive, Crouch was shocked and he immediately drew his wand..."

"Then what!" Ginny asked quickly.

Ron, George and Fred also listened attentively.

"It was too late, but soon, Rove punched Crouch in the face and knocked out all his teeth!"

Lucius Malfoy and Narcissa Malfoy looked at each other after listening to Ludo's words, and they both saw shock in each other's eyes.

Barty Crouch Jr. is still alive.

Harry had heard from Sirius not long ago, but now he stopped listening to Ludo and focused his attention on the Malfoy family.

Harry was surprised to find that Draco Malfoy didn't come to watch the final!

This is very unusual!!

"Ludo, Minister Fudge is here!" Arthur Weasley suddenly reminded.

"Is it finally here?" Ludo stood up, walked to the door of the box, looked towards the ground, and sure enough he saw Fudge and his party standing in the center of the stadium.

Fudge, who arrived in a hurry, didn't have time to go to the top box. He directly pulled out his wand, pointed at his throat, and said breathlessly: "The voice is loud!"

Then, his words were like thunder, resounding throughout the stadium.

"Let's get started... Ludo!"

Ludo received the order, and his voice echoed in the stadium, loudly reaching every corner of the stands.

"Ladies and gentlemen...welcome! Welcome to watch the final of the Quidditch World Cup!"

The audience finally stopped cursing and burst into cheers and applause.

"Well, without further ado, please welcome the mascot of the Irish national team!"

When Fudge saw that Rolf was about to walk along the stairs towards the box, he quickly grabbed him and laughed loudly:

"Rolf, just stand here, watch the mascot's performance and then go up. This is the best place to watch, and the view is better than the top balcony... There will be a surprise soon."

Luofu nodded, followed Fudge and stood in the center of the field, looking towards the sky.

Then, there was a "swish" sound, and a huge thing flew into the stadium, like a big comet.

It flew around the stadium before splitting into two smaller comets and heading towards a set of goal posts.

An arched rainbow suddenly appeared across the entire stadium, connecting the two big shining balls.

The crowd erupted in exclamations of "ouch, ouch", as if they were watching a fireworks show.

At this time, the rainbow disappeared, and the big shining balls connected and blended with each other to form a huge, shining...

Green skull!

Luofu looked at the green skull in astonishment, this was such a...surprise!
