Chapter 114 The beating secret box

The forbidden book area is located in a spacious square room. The floor and ceiling are decorated with dark wood. The walls are surrounded by tall bookshelves filled with magic books.

Three people and one female ghost shuttled between the bookshelves and walked deeper.

They soon came to the end, and a huge transparent magic cabinet appeared in front of them. Inside the cabinet was a very old leather box.

That night three years ago, it was here that Luof caught the silverfish. The moment he caught it, he heard a woman's voice.

Shirley and Hermione, who were also nearby at the time, did not hear the sound, but Rove was very sure that it was not an auditory hallucination... although the sound was very soft and disappeared quickly like the wind.

Since then, the young man has been to the library many times, bringing the silverfish with him every time, but he has never heard any more sounds.

"The entrance is right here." Helena pointed to the transparent magic cabinet and said softly:

"Open it, touch the leather box, and it will appear at the door of the secret room."

Rolf raised his eyebrows. He had asked about this magic cabinet. Dumbledore said that it had been placed here since the library was established, but no one knew its purpose.

Unexpectedly, it turned out to be the entrance to Ravenclaw's Chamber of Secrets!

"How do I open it? Do you have a key?" Rove asked.

"There is no key." Helena looked at the magic cabinet and whispered: "You only need a password and it will open automatically."

Rolf, Shirley and Hermione looked at each other and said in unison:

"Extraordinary intelligence is mankind's greatest wealth?!"

"Yes." Helena nodded, "But you need to speak runes."

The request was very simple... The young man quickly recited the Ravenclaw "famous saying" that everyone knew in runes.

I saw the smooth cabinet surface of the magic cabinet suddenly glowing with light. It was very weak at first, but gradually became brighter and brighter, illuminating the entire library.

Then, with a loud "click", the door of the magic cabinet opened.

Luofu reached out and picked up the thick leather box. He didn't know what material it was made of, and it felt rough to the touch.

He just opened the leather box, and when he touched the pages inside, they suddenly turned automatically, faster and faster, and then the pages scattered into the air like colorful butterflies.

The tornado formed by the pages of the book fell down and swallowed everyone including Helena - whoosh! - several people disappeared and were sucked into the book.

Luo Fe only experienced a moment of dizziness before he landed on a piece of solid land. He raised his head and the expression on his face suddenly froze.

Something is very wrong!

There is no long and dark passage in the memory, no wooden door with an eagle-shaped bronze door knocker...

Rolf did not appear at the door of Ravenclaw's secret room as Helena said, but stood in a strange place!

The boy looked around and found that Shirley, Hermione and Helena had also disappeared, and he was standing alone in a dark, dusty room.

In the center of the room, there is a big tree, which is rooted in a sealed box.

Rolf was suddenly surprised to find that this place looked very much like the third painting in Nico's "Book of Abraham".

Only there is no wizard with a sword and a green dragon!

What you see in front of you is not a painting, but a real scene:

The box seemed to be alive. It was beating, and every time it jumped, it made a deep vibrating sound.

Rolf looked around and found that there was nothing in the room except the box that was beating slowly and lowly and a big tree.

A blood-red human face suddenly appeared on the tree trunk, staring intently at Luo Fe.

"...Ravenclaw..." A voice sounded, half whispering and half moaning... "Ravenclaw...Ravenclaw..."

The leaves suddenly made a rustling sound, and on each leaf, a blood-red eye opened, staring at Luo Fu coldly and quietly.

Those blood-red eyes were rolling, flashing, and extending upwards in layers. It felt like countless eyes were staring directly at Luo Fu, which sent chills down his spine.

Luofu looked for an exit, but the walls of the room seemed to be slowly moving and rolling, trying to trap him.

The boy yelled, and the dizziness reappeared. When he opened his eyes, he found that he had left that terrible room and appeared in front of a wooden door.

The wooden door had no handle or keyhole, only an eagle-shaped bronze door knocker.

The entrance to Ravenclaw's Chamber of Secrets!

Shirley and Hermione seemed to have just landed and were looking around.

Hermione pointed to the other side of the passage and asked, "What's over there?"

Luofu didn't say anything, he was still breathing with a sigh of relief.

Helena on the side, floating in mid-air, explained: "The passages lead to the secret rooms of Hufflepuff and Gryffindor respectively. The four giants used to meet often to exchange magic experiences."

Shirley keenly noticed that something was wrong with the boy, and she asked softly: "Rolf, what's wrong with you?"

Rolf did not answer, but asked: "Shirley, did you encounter any problems when you just came through this book?"

"No." The girl with the ponytail looked at Luo Fu, shook her head and said, "It was like using a door key. It floated in the air for a while and then landed."

"Is that so?" Luofu said silently, so he was the only one who saw the scene just now?

Shirley didn't ask any more questions, but took out a handkerchief from her pocket and gently wiped the sweat from his forehead.

"I'm fine." Luofu smiled reassuringly at her.

Helena pointed to the wooden door and said softly:

"The bronze door knocker has been magically locked since my mother's death. Hufflepuff told me back then that a key was needed to open it again."

"Professor Ravenclaw has given me the key."

As he spoke, Luofu opened the box and took out a magic book from inside. He shook it slightly, and soon a magical creature with silver-gray fine scales and nine tails at the end of its abdomen came out.

A thousand years ago, Rolf found Cassandra to help him divine the location of the key. She said it was in the library, but for some reason, it was always moving.

Rolf guessed that the key left by Ravenclaw was this... silverfish that is over 900 years old!

The silverfish sniffed hard, flew out of the book, and entered the bronze door knocker.

After a moment, the bronze door knocker seemed to come alive. The eagle's beak immediately opened and asked in a gentle, musical voice:

"If yesterday is placed tomorrow, it will become two days ago. Should the day after tomorrow be today or yesterday?"

Luo Fu thought for a while and said: "The day after tomorrow should be today."

"Correct answer." After the voice finished speaking, the door opened with a creak.

Rolf took a deep breath and stepped into Ravenclaw's secret room... after a thousand years!
