Chapter 227: Rolfs death?

Helena stared blankly at Shirley and the silver pendant in her hand. Her whole body was stunned, and she was extremely shocked inside.

This is the key to Gryffindor Castle. Why is it on Shirley?

Hermione also looked at this scene with bewilderment.

Only Luo Fu is calmer...of course in comparison.

He did know that Shirley was related to Gryffindor, but he did not expect that the pendant she had worn since childhood would be the key to the castle.

Rolf suddenly remembered that he had returned to a thousand years ago with the pendant, but it was a pity that he did not take it out and let Gryffindor see it, otherwise it would definitely scare him!

After Helena was in a daze for a long time, she finally came to her senses and asked: "Shirley, where did you get this key?"

"The nun in the convent said that it was on me when she found me." Shirley reached out and took off the pendant and held it tightly in her hand.

"I always wear it around my neck as a protective talisman."

"That's it..." Helena was a little disappointed when she heard this.

Back then, not long after her mother Ravenclaw died, Gryffindor disappeared, and Helena always suspected that it was him.

The reason is very simple. After he rejected Barrow's pursuit, he was killed by Barrow who wanted to destroy him if he didn't get it.

Gryffindor also liked his mother, but was also rejected by her mother.

With Barrow's "jewel in front", it is difficult for Helena not to suspect that the missing Gryffindor... also did the same thing!

And since Shirley has this key, she is most likely a descendant of Gryffindor. Her parents and elders may know the truth back then.

But since Shirley was an orphan and grew up in a monastery, nothing could be found.

However, Helena believes that with her wisdom, sooner or later she will find evidence to prove Gryffindor's crime!

If Rolf knew what Helena was thinking, he would probably lament that there was only a wrong name, not a wrong nickname... The idiot beauty lived up to her reputation.

Hermione said impatiently: "Shirley, come and try to see if you can open the door."

Shirley hummed, walked to the door, aligned the key body with the key hole and inserted it, then slowly pushed it in, stuffing the entire key body into the hole.

But there was no movement from the door. Just when Roff couldn't help but wonder if he had guessed wrong, the door suddenly "buzzed" and slowly opened inwards, revealing a spacious foyer.

Helena raised the corners of her mouth slightly and reminded: "Before going in, you'd better use the head soaking spell."

Rolf nodded. This castle may not have been visited by anyone for many years. The air quality is extremely worrying. You should really use the Bubble Charm to protect yourself.

Wait...when did Helena become so smart?

Luofu didn't think much, cast a Bubble Charm on himself, and strode into the hall. He looked up, looked at the room, and was stunned for a moment.

The foyer is covered by a large flat dome with sail arches, and eight Corinthian columns stand on both sides. The columns are exquisite, and the tops are exquisitely carved with honeysuckle. They are exquisite and light, and the central frieze is also full of intricately carved patterns.

Coupled with the huge lighting window, the foyer space appears extremely spacious and magnificent.

But that’s not the point. The point is the interior decoration of the foyer:

The walls, floors, and dome are all veneered with gold foil; the columns are made of white marble, but are also inlaid with gold foil; the intersection lines of the capitals, column bases, and column bodies are all inlaid with gold-coated copper hoops.

Even the windows are painted with gold powder, so the top, bottom, left and right complement each other, making it splendid and dazzling.

There are also gold particles flying in the air - the dust that gold has peeled off.

These golden dust suspended in the air blend with the bright sunlight pouring in through the large windows, creating an extremely luxurious atmosphere.

Luofu couldn't help but take a deep breath. Even though he had the Bubble Curse, he still felt that his lungs were plated with gold.

Shirley and Hermione next to the boy were doing the same action.

Luofu sighed softly, no wonder Helena reminded them to use the head soaking spell, it turned out to be this reason.

Or my knowledge is shallow.

He suddenly thought that his old Scamander house, located on the fertile plains, looked like a slum compared with Gryffindor Castle.

The Scamander family is indeed a poor family!

But then again, Shirley has the only key to this castle, doesn't that mean that the castle belongs to her - rounding off, doesn't this castle also belong to Rove?

Roff walked around the foyer and found two majestic lion statues near the arch:

The whole body is made of gold, the teeth are ivory, and there is a pair of bright eyes inlaid with gems...it is worth a lot at first glance.

They visited the foyer and walked along a porch into the living room.

This place is not as luxurious as the foyer, and can even be said to be extremely shabby:

There was thick dust everywhere, the wooden frame against the wall collapsed, the rotten wood broke and collapsed, the containers dropped to the floor, and the smell of mold filled the whole room.

There are several portraits hanging on the walls, set in large gilded frames. However, due to age, the portraits in the frames have lost their magic and cannot move at all.

The names written in bold letters below are also blurry.

Just as Rove was looking around for valuable magic items, Shirley's urgent voice suddenly sounded.

"Rolf, come here quickly and see what this is?!"

Rolf immediately ran towards Shirley, and then he saw a large pool of blood on the ground from a distance!

The blood stains had dried and completely solidified on the floor, as black as the night.

Next to the pool of blood, there was an open wooden box.

Luofu picked up the box and found that there was nothing in it and no words engraved on it. There was only a simple pattern on the lid:

Triangular eyes with a vertical line in the middle of the pupil.

The Deathly Hallows... no, it should be said to be the symbol of the ancient wizard!

Rolf narrowed his eyes and stared at the box. For a moment, he remembered the death scene he saw about himself in Ravenclaw's death well!

Two wizards stood opposite each other. One was his future self. He was very tall and seemed to be sixteen or seventeen years old.

There is also a wizard, her back is turned to him, but judging from her graceful back, she can be sure that she is... a young witch

Then the young witch held a sword and suddenly stabbed it deeply into Rolf's chest. When he took his hand away, the sword remained inside. He groaned and fell to the ground.

Just beside the two people's feet, there was an open box.

Luofu stared at the box in his hand. It was exactly the same as the box he saw in the well of death.

The young man looked at the pool of blood on the ground again. For some reason, his hair stood on end.
