Chapter 24 Rolfs plan

The captain's office, which used to be quiet in the past, was extremely noisy today, with quarrels and shouts happening one after another.

Those voices came from the portraits on the wall. They were all the captains of the Mayflower, and they were arguing fiercely about how to deal with the current situation.

Captain Carlos ignored the chattering of the old captains. He poured himself a cup of cappuccino and put it on the table without drinking it.

And he was sitting quietly in an armchair, looking through the window at the island and the mermaid statue in the sky.

The old man suddenly remembered what the old captain Roger told him when he and Kurga were interns on the ship "Golden Jackson":

"In the Grand Line, storms, dangerous magical creatures, and pirates are not scary. The real big terror is...the unknown."

What is unknown?

Things beyond the dual understanding of science and magic!

Carlos looked at the mirage, which was like a maggot attached to a bone, and thought to himself:

"This is probably the unknown, right?"

It's really scary!

At this time, the door banged and Carlos said roughly: "Come in."

When Luo Fe pushed the door open and entered, the portrait of the captain on the wall immediately stopped arguing and turned to look at him.

Captain Carlos also looked at the boy. As if he saw the last straw, he stood up and asked impatiently:

"Rolf, did you bring the mirage on board?"

Luofu raised his eyebrows slightly and said in surprise:

"Mr. Carlos, the mirage is an endangered species in the Far East. It is illegal to travel with it across borders. Why do you think I would do such a thing?"

Rolf was indeed surprised. He upheld the ancestral motto of the Scamander family and the motto of Hufflepuff House. He had always been law-abiding, honest, and never engaged in illegal activities... There was no reason to doubt him.

Carlos looked at Rolf with a strange look.

Two years ago, when Cabrosaurus attacked the Mayflower, Roof took out a horse-shaped water monster from nowhere and fought with it;

Last year, the Saint attacked the floating dragon ship, and he summoned a fire dragon from nowhere to prevent the ship from crashing...

You have been involved in anti-pornography campaigns every time, why do you still ask why you are suspected?!

Coupled with Rolf's grandfather - Newt Scamander - he is even more of a heavyweight.

Decades ago, it was revealed that they were illegally carrying Thunderbirds and Winged Demons, destroying half of New York.

Later, he almost destroyed Paris, stayed calm for two years, and brought a unicorn with him to cause a big fuss at the International Federation of Wizards Conference in Bhutan... His crimes were so numerous that they are too numerous to describe!

With such a buff, it is difficult not to suspect that it was Luo Fu who brought a mirage with him, and then caused the mirage!

Of course, the words must not be so straightforward, Carlos said tactfully:

"I mean... have you found anyone suspected of carrying mirages?"

"Nothing has been found yet." Luo Fe shook his head and said seriously: "Mr. Carlos, I didn't bring any mirage with me. This mirage really has nothing to do with me."

Carlos still trusted Rove. Since he said it had nothing to do with it, it really didn't matter.

The old man motioned for Luo Fu to sit down, and then said feebly: "Then you come to me, is there something urgent?"

"I just used magic to detect mirages from a distance." Luo Fu sat on a large carved oak armchair covered with red velvet and said softly:

"I found a ghost ship, heading towards the Mayflower."

"Ghost ship?" Carlos' expression suddenly changed: "The Palselope we encountered two years ago?!"

"It's not it." Luo Fu denied. "What appeared this time was a new ghost ship. I also saw a painting on that ship."

Luofu quickly explained the content of the painting.

Hearing the description that "the Mayflower will be sunk by huge waves", Carlos's face turned pale and he was shocked.

No need to guess now, the mirage must be related to this ghost ship.

He has always believed that the ghost ship is an ominous thing, and any wizard who boards the ship will be cursed by the God of Death.

After encountering the ghost ship two years ago, Carlos was safe and sound for two years. He thought he was safe. Now it seems that the curse may be late, but it will certainly not be absent.

The old captains on the wall were also whispering to each other, and an even more intense quarrel broke out.

Carlos stared at Rolf and asked slowly: "Roff, do you think... that could be a prophecy?"

Luofu did not answer, but said seriously:

"Never mind whether it's a prophecy or not, we must be prepared to save ourselves now."

"Self-rescue?" Captain Carlos sat slumped in his chair.

"Rolf, we can't leave this sea area. No matter how the Mayflower sails, it can only circle around."

The old man picked up the mirror on the table again and said:

"I just used a double-sided mirror to connect with the outside world, but the mirror failed and the old captains on the wall couldn't go to their other frames."

"We're trapped to death in the North Sea!"

Luo Fe fell silent. It seemed that the door key and the disappearing cabinet must have expired.

The situation was trickier than he imagined.

"Then we can't just sit back and wait for death, Mr. Carlos." Luofu said with sharp eyes: "Something must be done."

"Is there anything I can do?" Captain Carlos sighed deeply, picked up the cappuccino in the cup, took a big sip and said:

"Although the Mayflower is waterproof, if it encounters huge waves above level 7, it won't be able to survive for long."

"I do have a plan," said Luo Fe, "but it's a bit bold and I need your support."

"What's the plan?" Carlos asked.

Luofu stretched out his hand and pointed upward, and said slowly:

"Hide in the sky, so that no matter how strong the wind and waves are, they won't affect us."

"In the sky? You mean using a broomstick?" Carlos murmured:

"But there are not so many broomsticks on the ship, and it is impossible to transfer all passengers to the sky."

"No." Luo Fu held down the table and said seriously: "I mean to let the entire Mayflower fly into the sky."

Carlos wanted to say that the Mayflower did not have the ability to fly, but he suddenly remembered something and froze in place.

Luofu smiled slightly and said:

This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading! "Will the rune horse, fire dragon and thunderbird be enough to make the Mayflower take off?"

If that’s not enough, I also have Rock Thief Dragon, Bird Snake, and Airwing Bird here..."

Carlos: "..."

He looked at Luo Fu blankly and couldn't help but cursed:

"You also said that you did not carry any illegal magical creatures. Just picking out one of these is enough to sentence an Azkaban prisoner!"

Rove quickly left the captain's office, and Shirley was standing in the corridor waiting for him, carrying a suitcase.

Nelisi was also there, and when she saw Luo Fu, she folded her arms unconsciously.

It seems that the forbidden curse·X-Dragon Claw-grabbing hand that Rolf accidentally cast on Nelisi caused a lot of harm to her.

Shirley and Rolf walked side by side and asked, "How's it going, Rove?"

"Captain Carlos has agreed to my suggestion," said Rove.

"That's good." Shirley nodded: "I just calculated that four magical horses plus a fire dragon are enough to lift the Mayflower."

Nelisi followed Luo Fu and Shirley, listening to their conversation, and couldn't help but interject:

"But where are we going to find these magical rune horses and fire dragons now?"

Shirley turned her head, smiled brightly at her and said:

"Nelisi, haven't you heard the saying? Whenever Scamander is in urgent need, magical animals will fly."

Nailishi shook her head in confusion.

Rolf also laughed along with the ponytailed girl: "In short, there is no need to worry about the magical beasts. For Scamander, that is the most trivial problem."

Nelisi narrowed her eyes and looked at the mysterious Luo Fu and Shirley suspiciously.

The three of them quickly walked to the deck, when fog suddenly began to form on the sea.

In the distance, the ghost ship finally appeared, speeding towards the Mayflower.
