Chapter 73 Descendants of the Sirens

In the wind-eroded barren wasteland, a towering boulder stands.

Rolf stood on the top of the stone, looking at the terrain in the distance with his broad field of vision. He occasionally looked back and lowered his head to compare with the map in his hand to determine his location.

The map in his hand was drawn by Ravenclaw himself after traveling to Avalon.

Last year, when Rolf entered Ravenclaw's Chamber of Secrets, he saw a letter left for him by Ravenclaw, and the map was attached to the letter.

At the time, Rolf was still wondering why Ravenclaw left the Avalon map, but he didn't expect that it would come in handy a year later.

Just saying, Ravenclaw is so scary!

Shirley sat next to him, placing the Dragon Bone Sword horizontally on the stone surface. She held the wand in her right hand and waved it gently.

The blood stained on the sword body, under the pull of magic, turned into drops of blood, suspended in mid-air.

All this blood comes from the dragon scourge - Aerys.

While living in the Tower of Babel, Shirley read many books about dragon disasters, which recorded many uses of its blood.

Therefore, even a small amount of blood stained on the sword is a precious magic material and cannot be wasted!

Shirley quickly took out a small potion bottle, and blood beads of different sizes suddenly fell into the bottle, making a crisp sound like falling rain.

Both Luo Fu and Shirley were busy with their own affairs. Only Nelisi had nothing to do and had no choice but to hold a telescope and stare at the escaping Iris.

Seeing the dragon disaster flying away and away, and finally disappearing in the shadow of the sun tree named Helios, she finally looked away and said with some confusion:

"Are we just going to let Iris go away like this? It already knows the existence of the Dragon Bone Sword. Next time it attacks, it must be on guard. I'm afraid it won't be so easy to kill."

"There's nothing we can do about it." After using magic to seal the medicine bottle in an orderly manner, Shirley explained softly:

"If we are trapped by Queen Gros again, we will have to rely on Aerys to 'rescue' us."

Although Luo Fu, who was holding the map, did not speak, he nodded slightly in agreement.

If Iris hadn't broken the magic shield over the city, it would have been difficult for him to escape with Shirley and Niles.

Such a good "key" cannot be killed for the time being.

Even if he really wants to slay the dragon!

After hearing Shirley's explanation, Nelisi was silent at first, then turned to look in the direction of the royal city, and said worriedly:

"Queen Gros will come after us again?"

To be honest, my life in the Tower of Babel has been really comfortable in the past half month or so.

Every day I eat delicacies such as phoenix and fire dragon meat, drink wine brewed with magical fruits, and have a pile of books with thousands of years of history to read...

Nelisi even discovered several ancient books on potions that had long been lost in the magical world.

But although it is nice here, she still wants to go home!

"Queen Gros needs Rolf to help her lift the curse, and she will definitely not give up." Shirley first gave an affirmative answer, and then quickly added:

"But it's hard to say whether she will come after her."

Seeing that Nellie was a little confused, Shirley explained:

"When we escaped today, Queen Gros was chasing us, but she was suddenly tied back by several chains."

Hearing this, Naili Shi also suddenly remembered the unexpected scene, and she guessed:

"Did a wizard intervene to stop her?"

"There is such a possibility." Luo Fu, who had been silent for a long time, finally raised his head and said, "But I feel that the other possibility is greater."

Nelisi looked confused, while Shirley looked at the boy knowingly and said softly:

"You want to say...curse?"

"That's right." Luo Fe nodded with a serious expression: "I once asked Gross why he didn't go to the Fountain of Good Luck to wash away the curse on his body.

She told me...she couldn't get close to the Fountain of Good Luck."

"I was very confused at that time, what kind of curse could prevent her from finding the fountain of good luck." Luo Fu narrowed his eyes and said:

"Now that I think about it...if she was imprisoned in that city, everything would make sense."

Listening to Luofu's analysis, Nelisi's eyes widened and she said excitedly:

"Then aren't we safe?"

"That's not necessarily the case." Shirley shook her head and said, "Even if Gross can't pursue him, she can still send other wizards, just like the Prime Minister - Levias."

"That's right." Luo Fu followed up the ponytail girl's words and continued:

"Although Livias is very old, he was a very famous dark wizard back then. If we really catch him, we may not be our opponents."

"So..." Luofu raised the map in his hand and said, "The top priority now is to find the Fountain of Good Luck as soon as possible and leave Avalon quickly."

Shirley stretched out her hand to hold her hair that was blowing in the breeze, and asked softly:

"Have you determined our location?"

Luofu hummed, flattened the old map on the stone, pointed to a place and said:

"According to my observation, we are probably here now, about four hundred miles to the west, which is the Fountain of Good Luck."

Shirley and Nailishi both looked at the map, but Nailishi quickly questioned:

"No, it's clearly marked on the map. This place is called Fast Forest, but..."

Nailishi looked around, but what she saw was not a forest, but an extremely barren red wasteland.

"This is a map from a thousand years ago." Luo Fu said with a smile: "It is normal for the geographical environment to change, as long as the general direction is correct."

The skull-headed Egg, who had been silent all this time, suddenly stared at Rolf with two blood-red eyes.

"Do you really have to find the Fountain of Good Luck?"

Rove folded the map, put it in his pocket, and asked, "Any questions?"

"The magic garden where the Fountain of Good Luck is located was once the summer palace of the Sirens." Egg warned:

"After the protracted war that year, the magical hub of the entire garden was destroyed. The magical creatures raised by the sirens broke away from their restraints and took up residence in the garden... In short, it is particularly dangerous."

Rolf didn't pay attention to Egg's warning, but asked with interest:

"When you say 'big war'... do you mean the battle between your mother Scylla and the Siren?"

Egg stared at Rolf, "You know a lot."

"I heard what Queen Gros said." Luofu said with a smile:

"She said that a thousand years ago, the Sirens and Scylla had a battle and almost sunk Avalon."

"That's right." Egg said, "After that battle, Avalon, which was originally floating around on the sea, was forced to be stranded in the North Sea."

"Why did the two sisters conflict?" Luofu asked curiously:

"Queen Gros said she didn't know, but you are Scylla's son. You must know the reason, right?"

"Well..." Egg hesitated for a moment and said, "I heard from my mother that it seems that Siren helped a wizard to steal an important item from her."

"Wizard?" Rolf raised his eyebrows and said, "It can't be Ravenclaw, right?"

Ravenclaw stole the olive tree of Groth, took away the crown of Babel, and stole the golden apple tree of Scylla...

Luofu naturally thought of her immediately!

However, Egg quickly denied: "It's not Ravenclaw, that's a man."

"The siren and that man gave birth to a child back then."

When Luo Fu and Shirley heard this, they looked at each other for a moment.
