79. Escape from the pagan camp

"Sithorn...we can ask him to help us leave..."

Professor Hagrid thought about the betrayal that made him heartbroken.

"He's part of the camp."

Professor Hagrid shook his head gently: "Sithorne is pure. I know this. It was my wife...Mim who bewitched him. Maybe I can get him to help us."

"Where to find him?" Lu Li said nothing more.

"I have no idea……"

The dark house fell silent.

Lu Li came to the window and peered into the outside world through the dusty window.

Red light flashed by from time to time, the pagans in the camp were full of trust in their eyes, and there were no patrol figures in the deep streets.

"Let's go back." Lu Li said.

The door opened a crack, and Professor Hagrid, like Lu Li, extinguished the oil lamp and quietly came to the dark surface at noon.

In the distance of the silent Midnight City, the shadow of the World Tree, which symbolizes human civilization, and the four shimmering alchemy towers seem to be close at hand, but seem to be out of reach.

Professor Hagrid calmed down and retreated deeper into the camp with Lu Li.

When the eyes of the church lighthouse scanned at a fixed frequency, Lu Li and Professor Hagrid had already hid in the narrow alley between the houses.

Everything went well at first, the problem appeared in the middle.

As the most frequently scanned area, this journey requires speed and agility. This is somewhat limiting for Professor Hagrid, who is just an ordinary person without mysterious powers.

An accident happened and Hongmang left briefly. When Professor Hagrid followed Lu Li and ran into an alley more than ten meters away, he tripped over a protruding stone and fell down in front of the alley.

The red light was coming rapidly in the distance. Lu Li caught the oil lamp before it crashed down and made a louder noise, grabbed Professor Hagrid and dragged him into the alley.

The red light followed closely, leaving only the dust rising and the shoes that flashed back into shadow.

An unexpected scene happened. The red light stopped at the entrance of the alley, and the dangerous red light penetrated the edge of the alley.

Deep in the narrow alley, only a few dozen centimeters away from the red light, the calm Lu Li and Professor Hagrid, who endured the pain, remained quiet.

After a long pause, almost when Lu Li thought that the heretics were alarmed, the red light left and no footsteps approached.

Professor Hagrid relaxed his body, regained his breath, and was about to say something when the red light came down again in horror.

Lu Li and Professor Hagrid held their breaths.

After a pause of more than ten seconds, the red light slowly left and seemed to return to normal.

Lu Li waited patiently for a few minutes to confirm that his eyes were no longer looking at this place. He left the hiding place and led Professor Hagrid through this dangerous journey quickly. After dodging two red lights again, he returned to the original house.

squeak

Lu Li slowly closed the door and lit the oil lamp.

The spreading dim light illuminated the room, and Professor Hagrid, who was breathing heavily, was startled by the pagan on the wooden frame.

Now he was in a terrible state. His clothes and palms were torn after falling, and his feet were sprained. The dirt, gravel, and flesh were mixed together and there was no time to clean them.

They have more important things to do.

"After I fell asleep, I repeated in the ears of the pagans the scene of our arrival."

Lu Li reminded Professor Hagrid what to say, leaned against the corner, and slowly fell asleep.

A weak hazy light group floated over the pagan's position, and Lu Li merged into a misty dream. The pagan's consciousness was scattered everywhere, with no subject and nothing.

"I saw Lu Li and Professor Hagrid being taken to the camp..."

Rumbling whispers suddenly sounded from the sky, and the mist seemed to become thinner.

"I saw Lu Li and Professor Hagrid being taken to the camp..." Gu

Ten seconds later, the echoing whispers sounded again, and the mist became thinner. Lu Li lowered his head and saw the emerging soil.

With each subsequent repetition, the dream changed, the haze thinning, revealing more of the outline of the campsite.

"I... saw... Lu... Li..."

The whispers echoing in the sky gradually lengthened, repeating again and again before becoming an unrecognizable distant echo.

And the pagan dream has turned into a camp, and a carriage is slowly approaching

Professor Hagrid's wife Mim and Sithorn drove the carriage into the camp, and Lu Li and Professor Hagrid were taken out of the carriage. The pagans leaned towards them gently, and then Lu Li and Professor Hagrid were taken deep into the camp.

Mu drove the carriage away, and Sithorn grabbed the bundle and walked towards the warehouse at the edge of the camp.

Remembering the warehouse Sithorn stepped into, Lu Li exited the dream.

"Have Lu Li and Professor Hagrid been taken to their locations?"

Professor Hagrid asked Lu Li who opened his dark eyes.

"Um."

Recalling the baggage Sithorn took away, his things should be there. Even if Sithorne can't get rid of the bewitchment, Lu Li can get back the Doomsday Apocalypse, the psychic gun, the stomach bag, and the eyeballs.

The premise is that the pagans have not discovered the power of the apocalyptic book.

And they have to go through the eyeball patrol area again.

Lu Li checked the unconscious heretic and confirmed that he would not be able to wake up in a short time. He left with Professor Hagrid and sneaked into the house where Professor Hagrid was imprisoned while hiding his eyes.

Further outside will be the camp square. Professor Hagrid, who injured his ankle, cannot go there. Only Lu Li can wear a black robe and pretend to be a pagan. And he can only watch it from a distance. Up close, he can feel the human atmosphere that belongs to Lu Li.

"You stay here. If the heretics show up, try to delay it."

Lu Li put on his black robe, left the oil lamp and Professor Hagrid behind, and walked out of the house.

Silently leaving the patrolling range of his eyes, Lu Li imitated the pagan's slow walking, like a walking curtain

In the camp square, several bonfires were burning to dispel the chill and darkness. Some pagans gathered around the fires, muttering and praying.

Lu Li's appearance did not arouse any attention or suspicion.

The black eyes under the shadow of the black robe stared at the warehouse on the edge of the camp, which was taller than the surrounding buildings, and slowly approached.

At this moment, a believer walked out of the edge house.

He faced Lu Li, raised his hands... and placed them vertically in front of his chest, keeping his palms spaced apart.

Lu Li slightly walked away from him to keep a distance. He imitated the movements of pagans and kept his hands vertically apart.

This kind of thing belonging to the church usually comes with hidden dangers...but Lu Li had no time to worry about it.

The pagan didn't notice anything strange about Lu Li, and Lu Li didn't encounter any more trouble. He successfully arrived at the tall wooden door of the warehouse, pushed open the gap, and stepped sideways inside.

Darkness surges in the barn.

At this moment, the flames spread and burned in front, and the lit torch revealed a familiar face.

"As expected of Sir Lu Li... you can escape from prison even by yourself."

Professor Hagrid stood on the wooden ladder of the warehouse, with an expression of admiration and respect, as always.

And two pagans holding torches stood beside him.

"This is a trap, you are the one who set up the conspiracy." Lu Li's black eyes reflected their outlines.

"Yes...the ceremony has been completed."

Professor Hagrid opened his arms enthusiastically, and his tone was unusually low.

"Light and darkness, trust and betrayal, friendliness and hostility, kidnapping and escape, hope and despair, life and death...we call it balance."

"Dear Sir Lu Li, you are the best sacrifice we can offer to the Lord."
