One hundred and six. The end of the assessment

The assessment was officially over, and several pairs of eyes with strange colors approached Lu Li.

Owen's cheeks twitched twice and shouted: "You guy... what have you done?"

"Maybe Lu Li accidentally typed it wrong...right, please explain it quickly, Lu Li." Frank kept winking at Lu Li, asking him to find an excuse.

"That's right." Lu Li looked at everyone calmly.

"What?" Frank was stunned.

"That's right." Lu Li repeated it again.

Frank couldn't understand Lu Li's words, and looked at the others with questioning eyes: "What do you mean it's correct..."

"He was the one who beat the little girl, idiot." Doma grinned.

Frank couldn't understand it even more: "But...but why did you do this?"

Lu Li's dark eyes lowered: "That little girl is very dangerous."

"ha?"

"There was no fearful expression on her face, and the four different monsters did not fight over each other." Lu Li briefly recounted what he had said to Truss.

This was not enough to convince Owen. With an incomprehensible expression on his face, he asked: "But these are just your guesses. If you guess wrong, you will kill an innocent little girl!"

Lu Li's expression remained unchanged. He looked at Owen who was very close and looked up at him: "That's just a portrait."

"...But this will cause our experiment to fail!"

"Won't."

The words spoken with that indifferent expression were so firm, as if they were telling a fact.

This made Owen, who was already prone to doubting himself, hesitate without thinking about whether what he did was right.

"You no longer need to question Lu Li on this point."

A gentle voice came from the side. Tesla, wearing a top hat, walked out from behind a wooden door and came to them with a cane. The graceful Rachel walked beside him.

"He is the man who just gave this open question a standard answer not long ago."

"So it was right to attack that little girl?!" Owen felt that his worldview was being impacted.

"Absolutely. It's reasonable to do this when you don't have any information and can only rely on your own judgment." Tesla, who was paying attention to the whole process, thought that Lu Li would change some decisions because of the "group", but the young man he admired did not.

That changed. "More importantly, his actions were consistent with those of the investigators."

"What do you mean by behavior more consistent with investigators?" Frank asked quickly.

Tesla pointed to the monocle hanging on the bridge of his nose, smiled and said: "See the essence through the phenomenon."

Before this, there was no correct answer to this question.

In other words, every answer is correct, and the purpose of its existence is to test people's observation ability. As long as the people being tested tell the reasonable information they observed, they will be considered qualified.

Lu Li gave a deeper answer to this question. It is foreseeable that when the newcomers who participated in the assessment later answered four monsters when faced with this question, it was difficult for the people in charge to be as satisfied with their answers as before.

"I have a question."

Rachel suddenly spoke, this was the reason why she followed Michael out.

"I want to hear your thoughts on the other four monsters, or why you think the little girl is more dangerous than them? Let's start with the grass-like dementor."

Lu Li looked at the portrait on the wall. A dozen blood-red eyes appeared densely in the silhouette of the dark grass. He answered without thinking: "That's just a bunch of grass hiding a nest of rabbits."

The bright red lips under the black mesh raised a curve of interest: "Where is the vampire monster that looks like a bat?"

Lu Li looked at the second portrait of a monster with short lower limbs and thick upper limbs, about three meters tall: "I have almost come into contact with similar creatures, and one of them has a pretty good personality."

Refers to the older brother Jimmy in "Investigator Trial".

"That twisted wraith."

"It's just the soul after death."

"The last fish-and-frog-like deep diver."

Lu Li looked away and replied: "Maybe it's an ordinary monster that just came home from fishing."

"Monsters don't know how to fish, okay..." Owen muttered softly.

Lu Li nodded: "So this question is very idealistic. Whatever you believe in your heart is what it is."

"Idealistic, I like this word." Rachel thought about the meaning of Lu Li's words, pursed her lips and smiled, without saying anything else, turned around and left, walking behind a certain door.

At this time, Tesla tapped the ground with his cane, drawing attention to himself, and said loudly: "Little guys, go back and wait for the news. The Investigator Committee will determine within a few days whether you are suitable to join the investigators."

Frank looked at each other, and he said: "It is a coincidence that we can form a temporary team together, but we don't have a bad feeling about each other during the contact, right?"

Owen frowned: "What do you want to say?"

Frank smiled sheepishly: "It's a pity to be separated like this. We can form a formal group and help each other get together when nothing happens. What do you think?"

"It doesn't sound like much...but if others agree...I don't care."

"As long as there's a fight."

"..."

Frank finally looked at Lu Li: "Where are you, Lu Li?"

"My business card. Don't contact me if you have nothing to do." Lu Li handed over his business card.

"It means I can contact you if I have anything, right? I understand." Frank blinked, pulled up Owen and Daniel, and politely said to Tesla: "Mr. Tesla Director, let's leave first."

"I wish you good luck." Tesla waved his hand and watched them walk into the pipeline accompanied by alliance personnel.

Tesla smiled as he watched their figures disappear around the corner: "Who do you think among them can join us?"

"have no idea."

"Would you like to take a guess?"

"No guessing."

Lu Li has always been uninterested.

Tesla smiled nonchalantly, raised his cane and pointed at the opposite side: "Let's go to the rest area and talk."

The alliance personnel began to remove the portraits on the wall. Tesla was leaning on a cane, and his shiny black leather shoes followed the cane's landing point, and a gentle voice said.

"I want to know why you have the idea that monsters can fish."

Tesla thought it was strange that Lu Li would have such an idea, but Lu Li didn't think so: "We can't fight against a group of brainless monsters."

"You are right... Some of them have intelligence, can think, and are even smarter than us. Unfortunately, most people have not realized this, nor have they realized the horror of this..."

"How do you think we humans can emerge victors in this battle for survival?"
