One hundred and twenty-eight. Mortuary

Boundless darkness squeezes in from all directions, and the small, dark enclosed space is enough to cause a nervous breakdown.

Lu Li pushed himself up and turned his body from a prone position to lying flat on his back.

The cold wall pressed against his back was not Lu Li's illusion, the gravity had indeed changed.

If this is a coffin, then the exit of the coffin should be...

Lu Li held the coffin lid in front of him and pushed it aside.

Surprisingly, the coffin lid could still be pushed open. Lu Li only pushed open a gap through which he could observe the outside world to prevent himself from being attracted by the gravity of the "kitchen".

The conveyor belt barely resumed operation, with occasional pauses and rewinds. The "chefs" returned to the stove, and a steady stream of fish carcasses were transported to the stove through the "chefs" machetes.

Lu Li was lying in the coffin, not standing up. Everything in the "kitchen" outside the coffin was not parallel to him, but above his head.

An indescribable sense of confusion welled up in Lu Li's heart, and the loss of direction brought nausea and dizziness.

After frowning and observing for a while, Lu Li closed the coffin lid and looked for other possible exits in the coffin.

If not, the coffin placed here becomes meaningless.

Lu Li pushed his body down first, but the bottom of the coffin didn't move at all. The sound after tapping with his knuckles was dull, and there was no space underneath.

Then there were the left and right sides. Pushing and moving had no effect, but when Lu Li knocked on the wall on the right, a faint echo came from the next door more than ten seconds later.

Someone is knocking on the wall on the other side.

The coffin fell into dead silence for an instant. Lu Li held his breath slightly and listened attentively, but there was no sound from the next door.

Lu Li pressed against the wall and listened carefully to the sounds on the other side.

Bang!

Suddenly a vibration came through the wall, which stung the eardrums for a moment.

Lu Li frowned and ducked away, his deep black eyes filled with emotion.

He exhaled a breath and ignored the movement next door for the time being. He raised his head and raised his hands to push the top of his head.

Squeak——

Amidst the unbearable friction sound, a gap was pushed open on the top of my head.

Another exit appears in the coffin.

Lu Li did not immediately escape from the narrow coffin through the exit. He retracted his palm, moved his head, and peered through the gap to see the outside world.

In the corner that can be spied, there is a decaying morgue covered with rust. As always, a black substance coats the surface.

Who would place a morgue on the ship?

Lu Li thought subconsciously, but then he was forgotten.

Like the unusual gravity in the coffin, which distinguishes the color black, the scene in the kitchen, logic makes no sense on this ship.

So is he also lying in a morgue at this time?

Slowly push open the door of the morgue. The rust that grows wildly on the metal like a plant makes the door obscure and difficult to push.

There was silence. In the room filled with rusty morgues, the door of one of the morgues was slowly pushed open, and a head poked out.

There is no figure here, and the counter on the wrist is still ringing at a constant speed.

Lu Li climbed out of the suffocating morgue and fell to the cold ground.

Getting up from the ground, Lu Li spread out his painful palms. Several scratches appeared on his palms near his wrists, and several red threads appeared besides black. The surrounding black material had a strange dark red color.

Lu Li wasn't sure whether it was a previous scratch or whether it was caused when he just pushed open the rusty cabinet door. It was better to be the former.

Tetanus has no cure here, and although the black substance is scary, it is unknown, and the worst outcome is the same as tetanus.

Lu Li is not afraid of death, but he doesn't want to die in a meaningless way.

Just like one day in the future, two new investigators stood in front of the tombstone and talked about the life of the tomb owner: "He is the mysterious descendant, the Lord of Belfast, the founder of the investigator system, the king of the four weirdos, the Crescent Moon"

The Storm Lord of the Bay, the evil spirit trembled under his power." "Then what was the cause of his death?" "Tetanus."

Lu Li tore off a piece of fabric from the hem of his shirt, wrapped it around his palm a few times and tied it tightly.

Lu Li looked around and walked towards the exit of the morgue.

Squeak——

The familiar sound of teeth grinding suddenly sounded beside me.

On the right side of the morgue that Lu Li climbed out of, the door of the adjacent morgue slowly opened a gap.

Bang!

Lu Li suddenly stretched out his hand and smashed the cabinet door back into place. With his other hand, he twisted the lock on the outside of the morgue and locked it.

Bang bang bang bang——

A crashing sound began to echo from the morgue. Lu Li stared at it and retreated to the exit of the morgue.

It was a normal carved wooden door, and the back of the door led to somewhere on the ship.

But the door was locked.

There was a door lock hanging on the latch of the carved wooden door. To go out, Lu Li needed to open the door lock.

Lock the door of the room from the inside.

Lu Li turned around and looked around the morgue amidst the crashing sound of the morgue echoing in the empty space.

So the key is inside some morgue here.

Ignoring a certain morgue that kept making noise, Lu Li came to a row of morgues next to the door. Six of the nine morgues were locked from the outside.

Ignoring the locked morgue for the moment, Lu Li opened the morgue without a switch at his feet. The moment he opened it, a turbulent black substance poured out from the morgue.

Lu Li retreated immediately to avoid them, waiting for the black liquid in the morgue to be completely drained, revealing the dark and empty interior.

Except for a puddle of black material on the ground, there is nothing inside.

After a brief hesitation, Lu Li did not open the second cabinet. He walked around the morgue, passing the rows of morgue cabinets, and found an almost rotten wooden box in the corner.

But it was still not an object that Lu Li could open with his bare hands. To open it, Lu Li needed to borrow some tools.

Still have to continue to open the morgue.

After walking past the morgue cabinet, which had returned to silence, Lu Li opened the second cabinet in the row next to the door.

There was no black substance flowing out, and there was nothing strange about it. There was a denture in the middle of the empty morgue.

To a certain extent, this is unusual.

Lu Li opened the third cabinet in this row and found it was empty.

There didn't seem to be anything Lu Li needed in the unlocked morgue.

Lu Li shifted his gaze to the locked morgue, reached out to turn on the switch, and pulled open the door.

The charred corpse of an unknown creature lay in the morgue.

After closing and locking the cabinet door, Lu Li opened the second locked morgue. There were also corpses inside, but there were only a pair of arms that were aligned and torn apart.

The third locked cabinet brought a surprise to Lu Li.

A crowbar lay quietly in the morgue. It was also rusty and covered in black material, but it did not reduce its hardness. It would be extremely easy to use it to destroy certain wooden boxes.

Secret room puzzle?

Lu Li thought, took out the crowbar from the morgue, turned and walked towards the carved wooden door.

Pin the crowbar behind the door latch, grab the handle of the crowbar with both hands, and apply force suddenly.

The entire door latch snapped.
