Three hundred and two. Real police officers

There are only a limited number of spices on the shelves. In the back corner, several bulging sacks are piled up. Two of the sacks have their mouths open. One bag contains wheat flour and the other contains potatoes.

These potatoes and wheat have been left over from last year's autumn harvest.

The remaining vegetables, such as carrots, onions, eggs, etc., were piled in the corner near the entrance of the cellar. The meager quantity together could not fill a sack.

Although greenhouse cultivation has achieved initial results, production limitations make vegetables still a scarce resource, or in other words, a luxury food that only the upper class can afford.

On the other side of the cellar were hanging beef, sheep, and pig steaks. Qiaoqiao had been shocked by these piles of meat hanging on hooks when she explored the cellar before.

Lu Li walked to the sack, raised the oil lamp to disperse the shadows inside the sack, and reached out to pick up a potato.

The skin of the brown potatoes was covered with dried mud. Lu Li scraped off the mud around his fingers, along with a small piece of the potato's skin.

Under the surface of the slightly green potato, blood-colored threads connect, forming blood-like, disturbing red veins on the surface of the potato.

With the shape of a potato, it looks like a human embryo.

This scene didn't fit Lu Li's understanding of potatoes. He picked it up and showed it to Qiao Qiao who was walking next to him. He got a response: "It looks disgusting."

Lu Li put the potato back, picked up a new piece, and rubbed the skin on the wall.

The same red veins appeared, and because of the previous scratch, the "blood vessels" on the surface were crushed, and a red liquid like blood spilled out.

"The food is all contaminated." Lu Li speculated that the changes in the food may be related to the blood rain, and put the potatoes back into the bag. "Are you hungry?"

Qiao Qiao was almost used to Lu Li's jumping style of speaking. She felt the same as when her teacher was distracted for a moment and found that she couldn't understand it at all.

Usually at this time, Qiaoqiao could only pretend to understand - she took out the wrapped dried meat and shook it before replying: "Just a casual mention. What's in those boxes?"

In the innermost part of the cellar, several wooden crates were leaning against the wall, covered with hay to prevent moisture.

Wow——

Very suddenly, the sack containing potatoes tipped over, and the round potatoes rolled past the retreating two people and hit the shelves.

Boom——

The crisp sound of impact and movement echoed in the cellar.

The atmosphere in the cellar suddenly became deathly silent, and the two of them remained motionless. Qiaoqiao held her breath and looked at the cellar door in the darkness, while Lu Li stared at the scattered potatoes.

The cellar door did not open, nor did the scattered potatoes suddenly move.

Maybe it's just a coincidence.

"Maybe you didn't put it away properly." After waiting patiently for dozens of seconds, Qiaoqiao breathed a sigh of relief and said.

But in the next second, her pupils suddenly shrank.

The faceless figure appeared silently in the cellar. But it was not beside Lu Li and Qiao Qiao, but in front of the wooden boxes.

When Qiao Qiao was in a daze, an afterimage suddenly shot out from beside him and hit the faceless figure that appeared quietly.

Snap——

The afterimage remained still, revealing the outline of the psychic gun, and bursts of smoke rose from the chest of the faceless figure hit by the psychic gun.

"Anna." Lu Li whispered.

A cold aura surged out, approached, and enveloped the faceless figure.

Invisible power enveloped the faceless figure, making it unable to escape or move. Only the psychic gun passed through the stand and fell to the ground.

Anna's figure emerged and she clenched her palms at this moment.

The cold power suddenly became violent, restlessly turning into countless transparent spikes and piercing into the body of the faceless figure. The next second, the restrained faceless figure disappeared.

This silent battle came to an end quickly, with the faceless figure not making a single sound from the beginning to the end.

Anna's figure faded again, and the cold atmosphere in the cellar was gradually dissipating.

"How is your strength?" Lu Li asked.

Anna's voice came from the void: "It's very weak... almost like an ordinary ghost. The psychic gun you threw almost killed it."

It is this kind of weakling that can wreak havoc in a small town and be feared by people.

Qiaoqiao exclaimed at this time: "Why did it appear?! Could it be... there is a third person!"

"Of course." Lu Li said, walking towards the place where the faceless figure had been, and looking down at the wooden box in front of him.

There are slight gaps between the wooden slats of the wooden crate, making it difficult to peek inside, but if there is something inside and you want to peek outside...

Lu Li raised his hand and opened the wooden box.

A complex face mixed with fear and relaxation emerged.

The figure in the wooden box looked at Lu Li with wide eyes for more than ten seconds, then turned over in the wooden box with difficulty, and rushed towards Lu Li with his back, showing his hands tied behind his back.

Lu Li took out his dagger and cut the hemp rope. He quickly tore away the wet cloth stuffed in his mouth. He retched a few times and tried to speak, but then he quickly covered his mouth.

"I have eliminated the weirdness." Lu Li said to the young man in the wooden box. "You should have discovered it just now."

The young man hesitated and said, "...you can actually kill that monster...are you an exorcist?"

Lu Li nodded in acquiescence: "Who are you."

"I am police officer Fran from Shadow Town. You guys...I haven't seen you before. Are you from outside?!" Frando breathed a sigh of relief, and then said excitedly: "Those monsters have disappeared!

?”

Lu Li's eyes swept over Fran's dirty police uniform and said, "Not yet, let's come in and find someone."

Lu Li's words extinguished Fran's newly raised hope.

He stood up from the wooden box. The long crouching made his blood and joints extremely uncomfortable. He struggled to step out of the wooden box. Fran sat on the wooden box and breathed a sigh of relief and asked: "Who are you looking for?"

"Oliver, he's not a resident here."

"Oliver... I remember this name." Fran frowned and thought, and asked, "Did the Eevee caravan entrust you here?"

Qiao Qiao, who was watching, suddenly became excited.

Lu Li introduced Fran: "She is Oliver's sister. I will accompany her to find Oliver."

Jojo couldn't help but move forward: "If you know anything about Oliver, please tell us!"

"You guys are so brave...Okay, if you save me, I will tell you what I know and let me think about it."

Fran sighed, recalled what happened before, and spoke slowly.

"We were looking for him before all this happened, but before we could find him, the town was suddenly filled with terrible monsters. My teammates and I lost contact with the captain, and then the monster you killed appeared, and she killed

She killed several of my teammates, and our weapons and guns were of no use to her, so we scattered and ran away..."

"I was alone and hid in old Mike's house. When I saw him, the poor old man had already lost his head... I hid there until night and found that there were more and more monsters outside, and they fought several times.

I almost rushed into the house, so I plucked up the courage and ran back to the police station, and then..."

Fran lowered his head and said with some embarrassment.

"I was knocked unconscious..."
