54. Lost of the Port of Rodster

"The Port of Rodest is an important port for the Allen Peninsula and the Main Continent. The Council of Elders and the United Organization will not sit idly by."

Lu Li replied, but what he said was the result under ideal conditions.

A strange fog shrouds the city, making it difficult for the Exorcist Alliance to respond quickly. If the port falls into silence as Finn said, the disease is likely to begin to spread——

Belfast is no longer safe.

Snap——

Lu Li turned on the radio and adjusted the frequency to a secret channel.

[...It's difficult to control...sands...to be touched by human pus, nor...bodily fluids...sands...melt...ugly...flesh...keep a distance...sands...terrible abscesses...through

Spirit... rustle... sanity is polluted... need help]

The Exorcist broadcast was noisy and difficult to decipher, but it kept repeating the same content. Lu Li listened calmly for a few minutes and pieced the content together.

[Roadster Port has completely lost contact, but there are still some survivors and exorcists fighting. Only a small part of the human pus infected by the disease has spread outside the port, making it difficult to control. However, they are difficult to hide, as long as they are discovered in time

Treatment can prevent the spread of infection. Do not be touched by human pus or their body fluids. Any form of contact may be infected with diseases for which there is currently no antidote]

[Their characteristics are easily identifiable. They are roughly humanoid creatures wrapped in horrific abscesses. They are composed of ugly flesh and blood. Their shapes are not fixed, and their abilities are not fixed. The place where large abscesses and swellings grow is the place to launch an attack.

Please keep your distance]

[Human Pus will withstand physical and demon-breaking damage. Using a psychic gun will usually kill it in 2 to 3 shots. If it hits the head covered by abscess, it will kill Human Pus in one hit. The dead person

Pus is also infectious, please note. In addition, human pus does not have the contamination of sanity points]

[Human pus and the diseases it carries are temporarily controlled in the port, but there is a shortage of manpower. Please ask the exorcists from Belfast to come to help, we need support]

Lu Li adjusted the broadcast to other stations, which only reminded people not to go out.

Turning off the radio, Lu Li walked to the desk, opened the drawer, and hung the holster on his waist.

"Shall we go to the refuge?" Anna asked.

"Go help."

At midnight, Lu Li was walking on the quiet street with two oil lamps in his left hand.

The oil lamp emitted a faint light, barely dispelling the fog around him.

The light from the windows on the street dispersed the strange fog and extended into the distance along the road. In the dark corners that only light could not reach, something seemed to be surging. Contrary to what you thought, the outside world was not oppressive.

Except silence itself.

Finn was able to escape alive because of his own luck and because of these gathered lights.

It was difficult to rent a carriage at this time, so Anna picked up Lu Li and floated along the street to the port. The two oil lamps in Lu Li's hands collided from time to time, making a crisp "ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding."

Outside the window, you can only see a figure floating in the air and passing quickly.

Anna, who is keen, sometimes feels the presence in the mist surging ahead, so she hugs Lu Li and walks around far away.

Lu Li, who only relied on his low sanity to get inspiration, was completely unable to sense weird things outside the range.

After passing a few blocks, the shrouded fog suddenly turned into a light orange-red color like a burning cloud, and deepened as Anna moved.

The smell of burning wood began to float in the air and faint shouts came from the distance.

"There might be a fire ahead." Anna looked forward, her eyes seeming to penetrate layers of fog and see the burning house. "Do you want to go around?"

"Yeah." Lu Li said calmly in Anna's arms.

After holding Lu Li back to the intersection, Anna passed through another block.

During the ten-minute journey to the port, they encountered three houses on fire. There was even a wooden house with thick smoke coming out, and the residents fled in panic.

When they saw Lu Li in a strange posture, as if he was being held by an invisible being, floating in the air, they closed their mouths in fear and averted their eyes, not daring to look, as if Lu Li himself was a being in the fog.

When they were close to the port, only one or two blocks away, Anna put Lu Li down.

"There are many people ahead." Anna, who felt the human aura, said, preparing to hide herself.

"Don't go back to the other world."

Lu Li stopped Anna's move.

There are many exorcists gathered at the port, and Anna, who can no longer contain all her aura, may cause misunderstandings if she hides in the other world.

With Anna floating beside him, Lu Li walked forward. As he got closer, the fog faded, and some figures holding torches and oil lamps came towards him.

But they are not exorcists, just ordinary people.

Residents living in coastal streets near the port were evacuated by police and moved to open areas.

They noticed Lu Li and the illusory figure beside him, and moved away in panic, not daring to look at them.

It seems that Anna should be allowed to hide in the other world temporarily.

Lu Li thought, but before he could say anything, a young man roared out of the crowd and rushed out.

"You monster! I'm going to kill you!"

His companion stopped him and dragged him nervously to the corner.

Anna was slightly startled, then realized that he was scolding her, and a hint of violence flashed deep in his eyes.

"Come on! You bastard raised monster! Kill me! Just like you killed my sister!" The man with red and swollen eyes, who seemed to have cried not long ago, struggled hard and cursed at Anna.

Anna suddenly looked at Lu Li and explained seriously: "I didn't."

"I know."

Lu Li looked at the man who had lost his mind and his yelling was becoming more and more unpleasant, and frowned: "Tell him to shut up."

Bang——

As soon as the words fell, the man who was struggling to free himself from his friend felt as if he had been hit hard. His body froze for a moment, and then he knelt on the ground holding his stomach and retching violently.

This scene intensified the fear of Lu Li among the surrounding people. The commotion dispersed and they began to jog as far away from Lu Li as possible.

The commotion ahead was finally discovered by the police officers in the team. They loudly asked the frightened people to stop, and then looked at Lu Li and Anna warily.

Lu Li took out his investigator badge and spoke proactively: "Senior Investigator Lu Li, I'm going to the port to help. He insulted my assistant and I got a lesson."

The police officers looked at each other, and the middle-aged deputy chief of police breathed a sigh of relief. He glanced at the man with tears and runny nose, kneeling on his knees and retching, and said in disgust: "Idiot."

"Escort Mr. Exorcist to the port, and don't let these blind civilians get close." The deputy police chief ordered the men beside him, then bowed slightly to Lu Li and said, "I leave the safety of Belfast to you.

"

Lu Li didn't speak, just nodded and continued walking forward.

When he passed by the retching man, Lu Li's calm voice sounded.

"Reason is the reason why we defeat weirdness. Don't use courage in the wrong place."
