Ninety-nine. Some guesses

Black volcanoes stand tall on the distant land, and the stretching black ridges block the boundless sea of magma.

Except for flame life, even high-level demons dare not set foot too deeply into this ocean.

At this moment, there was a figure walking slowly forward on the magma sea. Where he landed, the magma immediately cooled into black rock with a roar.

He walked step by step towards the black volcano in the distance.

The weathered, dilapidated town stands prominently at the foot of the black volcano.

The buildings in the town have long been submerged by the cooling magma, and half of the door is hidden under the magma rock.

The origin of this town cannot be verified. Maybe some high-level demons know the story here, but Ruth obviously will not waste her precious soul on useless curiosity.

After entering the town, Lu Li saw many skeletons on the side of the road. Some were similar to humans, or some were not.

This town is by no means as safe as Ruth said.

After traveling through the town, Lu Li found the tavern on the edge of the town. Unlike the submerged buildings in the town, this building was built on volcanic rocks.

It was apparently built after the last volcanic eruption.

Some strange, ugly mounts full of characteristics of hell creatures are entrenched outside the tavern.

"If you don't get close to them, they won't attack you." Ruth reminded from behind. "By the way, don't bring that hungry demon in."

"They're going to attack her?"

"No, it just might make you looked down upon."

Passing between these hellish creatures, Lu Li arrived at the door of the tavern. Before holding the doorknob, he turned back to look at Ruth.

Ruth, who no longer kept her distance on the road, backed away again: "Don't worry, there is no danger. And I don't want to be thought that I am with you, so you go first."

Without saying anything, Lu Li looked away and pushed open the door of the tavern.

Take Whitley with you.

Ding bell——ding bell——

The wind chimes behind the door echoed crisply.

The whispers everywhere in the tavern suddenly disappeared in an instant. They all looked at the figure who came in and followed him with their eyes.

The Hungry Demon next to his legs was ignored.

Being shrouded in the aura of high-level demons that filled the tavern, Whitley seemed extremely frightened and followed Lu Li's legs closely.

Lu Li glanced past the guests at the surrounding wine tables. Without souls, all existences are the high-level demons that Ruth said.

The heat was left outside, and the temperature in the tavern was comforting to the soul.

Lu Li could almost guess why they were looking at him, so he ignored them and walked to the counter to sit in an empty seat.

"It's been a long time since I've seen such an energetic new face." A humanoid demon behind the counter took a deep breath. He also didn't look at Whitley. His eyes fell on Ruth who had just walked in behind Lu Li: "Blind hunting.

Demon, did you bring him?"

It is almost as innocent as a human being, with only the two black horns on its forehead proving its identity.

After the voice of the humanoid demon fell, the "guests" in the tavern returned to their original duties, and the conversations everywhere started again.

"I'm not blind, and I don't know him." Ruth replied unhappily and sat down in the empty seat closest to the door.

Opposite her was a high-level demon that looked like it was made of rock, with dark blue flames burning in the gaps between the rocks.

As Ruth sat down, the high-level demon regained his aura, and the flames turned into light blue.

Ignoring Ruth's attempt to conceal it, the humanoid demon looked at Lu Li again: "So you know all the rules here?"

"Exchange." Lu Li replied.

"You passed. This glass of wine counts as a welcome gift." The humanoid demon grinned, took out a glass full of wine from under the counter and pushed it in front of Lu Li: "If you want to give something or get something, just shout out, who knows?"

If you are interested, I will take the initiative to sit next to you."

The wine in the glass was swaying. Lu Li lowered his eyes and did not pick up the glass of wine.

"You'd better drink it. The welcome wine can dispel the toxins left in your soul by the hellish environment. This is a reminder from a stranger."

Lu Li picked up the wine glass and raised it to signal to Ruth: "Thank you, stranger and stranger."

"snort."

Ruth snorted and turned her head.

"Can I transfer it to other... demons?" Lu Li asked the humanoid demon.

"You are its owner now."

The humanoid demon said that he didn't mind how Lu Li used it, and then watched with interest as Lu Li lowered his head and fed the newcomer wine to the hungry demon at his feet.

Whitley knew this was what he needed, grinned and swallowed the entire glass of wine - no miracles happened.

"The soul in the body of this hungry demon can only support its instincts, and the newcomer's wine cannot help it." The humanoid demon sighed, and took out a new wine glass from under the counter and pushed it to Lu Li: "Think of it as having two new customers today.

.”

"Thanks."

Lu Li thanked the humanoid demon, picked up the wine glass and drank it.

Perhaps because he didn't belong to hell, Lu Li couldn't taste anything from this glass of wine. It did have an effect. After drinking it all, Lu Li felt as relaxed in his soul as he did when he first came to hell.

"Are you the owner of the tavern?" Lu Li asked.

The humanoid demon put away the empty cup and smiled kindly: "He's just an old manager who can't walk anymore."

Its exposed wrist is covered with complicated black lines.

"Can I ask a trivial question?"

"If it wasn't free."

The humanoid demon's answer reminded Lu Li of Hades, but the difference was that one was about trading and the other was about greed for money.

The trouble was that Lu Li didn't have the remuneration he could pay.

clatter--

There was an inaudible knocking on the table from behind.

A smile line appeared in the corner of the humanoid demon's black eyes: "Someone paid the bill for you."

"The terrain of hell is similar to that of the human world, right?"

This can reduce some transaction value. If you directly ask how it is different from the human world, you may have to pay more.

"This problem is not trivial, but it is not that expensive either." The humanoid demon replied with a smile: "Yes, hell is like the human world expanded many times."

Everything corresponds.

A majestic and huge black volcano that resembles a mountain range, and a magma sea outside the black volcano.

Sugard Mountain, and the ocean.

"What's the ratio between them?"

"Some places are much worse, and some places are no different."

"Thanks."

Lu Li had no problem for the time being - it was considered a transaction issue.

"How much would it cost if I needed to rent a fast mount?"

"I don't have a mount." The humanoid demon shook his head and replied. "Do you need me to ask for you?"

"It's the best."

The humanoid demon nodded, and suddenly said loudly in a voice that could be heard in the entire tavern: "Our new friend wants to rent a fast mount. If any of you are interested in the transaction, please quote your price!"

Nightmare beasts, skeleton horses, magic eagles, and chaotic shouts like those in a human tavern sounded out one after another.

Lu Li wrote down what the demons shouted, and at the same time scanned the guests carefully.

Not having a soul like Ruth... meant that it was difficult for Lu Li to exchange his status as a "psychic" for the content of the transaction.
