53. Obey the law and be a good citizen

Lu Li shook the empty umbrella and folded it again, thoughtfully.

It sounds like Richard and the Fat Ghost are members of a certain team. So the question is, what is the intention of this group of people?

Lu Li analyzed all the encounters after falling into the underground layer, and finally locked the clue on the word "container".

Richard said this word repeatedly, and the Fat Ghost called this thing "the chance of resurrection"

The two words "container" and "opportunity of resurrection" put together are very close to the truth of the matter.

Lu Li's black eyes turned slightly. Was their intention to take over his body? If so, is Athena's husband related to this matter?

He suddenly raised his eyes slightly and turned to look at the corridor behind him.

A translucent ghost floated out of the darkness.

Lu Li said: "Caught?"

Anna, who floated to her side, moved her eyes to the side and hesitated.

Lu Li frowned slightly and said, "I injured his knee."

Anxiety appeared on Anna's face, she closed her eyes and said firmly: "He hid in a place, but...but I didn't dare to go there."

Lu Li showed a look similar to confusion.

"That's it...oh, come with me!"

Anna turned around and floated back. Lu Li followed the lost Anna and finally found the passage to the second underground floor after passing the same corridor three times.

But in the corridor ahead, there were more than twenty plastic dummies standing scattered.

"These are the things..." Anna hid behind Lu Li and poked her head out from her shoulder to look around.

Wow——

Lu Li, who was dragging the radiator, held the steel pipe with both hands and stepped forward quickly.

After a gust of wind and clouds, strewn limbs and broken arms were scattered on the ground, including some smashed and broken limbs. The scene was cruel and bloody.

Lu Li, standing among the wreckage with a murder weapon in his hand, raised his eyes: "Are there any more?"

"Well..." Anna hugged her head and let out a cute whimper.

"It's okay, you can get familiar with it slowly." Lu Li neither expressed his disappointment to Anna nor taught her what to do, he just mentioned it lightly.

Anna was just a noble lady from a wealthy background during her lifetime. It is obviously unreasonable to want her to instantly accept her identity and focus on fighting.

Drag the radiator to the stairs. At the end of the stairs is a door, which is locked from the inside.

So Lu Li waved the radiator again, causing debris to fly out with a loud noise, and a large piece of the door was dented and slammed open.

The original color of the stained ground cannot be seen, cans, water bottles and other garbage are scattered on the ground, and the dirty bunks and beds are piled with bedding and clothing, many of which have obvious feminine characteristics.

It is impossible to determine whether these are the clothes of former medical staff or the victims...

There is a row of telephones placed under the wall directly in front of the door, with messy wires hanging around.

The sour, musty smell and other smells mix together to form an unbearable strange smell.

This seems to have been transformed into a living area, and Richard hides here to survive.

Lu Li walked in with Anna following closely behind.

beep beep beep——

"ah!"

The sudden sound scared Anna almost out of her mind, and she shrank into Lu Li's body to overlap with him.

Lu Li looked at the phone that suddenly rang and walked away.

Anna was left where she was. It took a while for her to react, and she shivered behind.

Didi——

The phone was picked up and held to his ear.

"It seems that you have found my place, but unfortunately, I am far away from here." Richard laughed from the phone, and then suddenly roared: "You ruined a part of our plan.

You are a sinner! I will find you...and then let you die a miserable death!"

Richard laughed unbridled and suddenly stopped in the middle of his laughter.

He heard a strange dialing sound on the other end of the phone.

"Wait, what are you doing?"

Lu Li held the receiver with his shoulder, picked up the receiver of the phone next to him and asked, "Can I use other phones?"

"Uh... ok." Richard replied hesitantly.

"OK, thanks."

Lu Li dialed the dial and dialed a number skillfully.

"So what are you doing!?" Richard yelled, feeling slightly uneasy.

"There is a dead body in the corridor. You committed a murder. The police should be called to deal with this kind of thing."

There was silence for a few seconds, and then Richard stuttered incoherently: "But...but...but isn't this kind of situation usually a personal grudge? Why did you call the police!"

"I am the type who abide by the law and call the police when encountering illegal cases." Lu Li replied: "I am usually very busy and have no time to deal with personal grievances."

"Then how do you explain this!" Richard yelled in anger. "If you dare to say that this place is haunted, the police station will never let you go!"

"Omit the supernatural content and just tell the truth. Whether they believe it or not, it is the police and you who should have a headache with this kind of thing, not me."

At this time, a female voice sounded from another microphone. Lu Li motioned for Richard to be silent and spoke to the operator.

"Hello, I am in the abandoned lunatic asylum near Watchtown. This place was once called the Sixth Mental Hospital. I found a dead body here. The time of death was just in the past few days..."

"Okay, the police will arrive later. Please stay at the scene and wait for the police to arrive -"

After hanging up the phone, Richard, who had been holding it in for a long time, cursed loudly: "You will regret it!"

Lu Li ignored him and said, "I have something to ask."

"Huh? You fucking ruined mine and you still want to ask me questions!?" Richard was a lot like throwing away his phone, but that was all he had left now.

Lu Li's expression remained calm: "I also answered the questions you asked before."

"Is it an equivalent exchange..." Richard suddenly calmed down, his ferocious expression gradually faded away, and he shouted coldly: "Huh... what do you want to ask?"

“Where are the hospital’s patient information kept?”

Richard became a little wary: "You want to know what these do?"

"It's related to the commission I accepted. I want to check the information of a patient. His name is Edward. It would be great if you know this person."

"I don't know!" Richard didn't want to answer, and he really didn't know him. After the words were spoken, Richard, who was getting more and more suffocated as he thought about it, yelled angrily: "You accept the commission and complete it! Damn it!"

Why do you come to ruin my business!!!"

"You knocked me out first."

The atmosphere fell into absolute silence.

After dozens of seconds, the other end of the phone remembered Richard's distorted, hoarse, and tired words: "Go out of this room, turn right and walk to the end. Behind the door there is the archives room. The patient information is all

There. The doctors didn't take away this piece of paper before they left. You'd better hope that what you're looking for hasn't been eaten and wiped by the lunatics who stayed behind."

"OK, thanks."
