205. Anna

The view extends along the coastline, blocked by the port of Rodeste in the bay.

However, even if you can see the elm forest in the south, it is not much different from what you can see from the top of the cliff.

Anna noticed what Lu Li was looking at, so when she returned in the afternoon, she brought back an object surrounded by Remi Jimmy: a telescope.

This seems to be a telescope that was removed from a certain coastal street for viewing the scenery. The screws that should be fixed to the stone slab are still hanging on the bracket.

Remy and Jimmy liked this thing very much. After installing it on the edge of the cliff, they couldn't wait to go over and look at the sea and the ruins of Belfast. However, the aberration was serious and the magnification was only less than 60. After playing for a while, Remy continued to become a farmer's caregiver.

In the farmland, Jimmy's monster clone lay in a small piece of beach paved next to the wooden house - he brought it back specially when he left the beach.

After the novelty between the Jimmy siblings ended, Lu Li walked to the telescope.

He first observed the ruins of Belfast and Rodster Harbor for a while, then turned the telescope to point to the elm forest in the south.

"There are traces of wooden boats on the rocks around the ghost prison. The pagans may have landed on that island."

Anna's voice sounded next to him, and Lu Li left the telescope.

"I can't see anything," Lu Li said.

The island is still further south. If you want to see it, you have to go outside the bay or stand on the southern edge of the elm forest.

This is some kind of good news, at least the top of the cliff is not in the sight of the prison that houses many ghosts and the pagans.

Unexpectedly, Adangfuya also went over to try the telescope. The direction she was looking at was the top of the mountain in Belfast...the direction of her and Tesla's home.

After afternoon tea, the residents walked out of the cave into the mist in the middle of the night and returned to their respective cabins. Lu Li also fell asleep with Anna's "good night".

Anna, who accepted his suggestion, was reading a novel that she was usually interested in. Unfortunately, the plot she longed for usually made it difficult to impress her, and Sarah's memories, which were ten times more profound than the story, were constantly pouring out...

There is depression buried deep beneath the calm, and it is about to burst out.

When morning comes, the surging mist quietly recedes.

The young shoots emerging from the soil were covered with morning dew, and crops were growing on nearly one-third of the cultivated land.

Not only crops, but also many buds that had awakened from dormancy emerged from the soil near the cave. At first, Remi would remove them and plant them in front of the wooden house and take good care of them, but as more and more plants grew, they became sparse.

It became normal and she was no longer surprised by it.

Although any botanist would go crazy upon seeing this.

"It's a pity that it's getting colder and colder..."

Remi watched her brother get out of the quilt and tremble, and found a coat for him from the closet.

Lu Li can counteract the changes caused by plant disasters, but what about the laws of nature...

Remi thought that the crops in the cultivated fields and the plants on the cliff top would soon wither, and her mood became sad.

"There should be a spare fireplace at Lu Lilili's place, right?"

The coolness of the coat made Jimmy gasp: "Or... or please ask Anna to bring one back from Belfast."

He even thought he would catch a cold if it kept getting colder like this.

"You can't use a fireplace in a wooden house," Remi said. As for building a stone house... it would take several days, and you would have to find a place with enough stones in the forest.

"Then just heat the stove or something, even light a fire." If it gets cold like this, Jimmy even thinks he will catch a cold.

"Let me ask Lu Li." Remi pushed open the wooden door, and the cool sea breeze rushed into the hut. She said to her brother who was about to stop breathing, "He should have woken up."

Lu Li woke up from his long dream.

The charcoal in the fireplace has dimmed, and the weak flame in the oil lamp is swaying slightly.

Anna was holding the book beside the desk in the darkness, but the thickness of the pages was almost the same as before going to bed last night.

"Anna."

Anna seemed to wake up from a dream, her eyes in the darkness were confused: "...Have you had a nightmare?"

"It's dawn."

The confusion faded, and Anna noticed the dying fireplace and the dying oil lamp: "Sorry... I was fascinated by it."

Anna brushed away the hair hanging in front of her forehead and added new wood to the fireplace. The invisible wind blew in the fireplace, and the dark charcoal rekindled brightly in the depths, and the flame gradually burned.

While she was filling the oil lamp with kerosene, Remi walked into the cave and told Lu Li that Jimmy wanted to warm the stove as the weather turned cold.

"There are extra heaters in the cellar."

This kind of portable stove, which does not take up space and can provide warmth, suits Lu Li's needs. However, thick smoke will be everywhere in the cave, so a fireplace with a chimney is more suitable.

Remy returned to the cabin with the heater that Jimmy was missing.

Jimmy hid in the house until the weather got a little warmer in the morning, then moved from the hut to Lu Li's side under the Annie tree.

[The last storm of the year will arrive in Himfast early tomorrow morning]

Rain clouds deep into the tranquil plains of the Selma Mountains are turning into storms. Usually storms form over the sea and hit the land, but this time it is bizarrely the other way around. But there are so many weird things happening this year that people don't even have time to think about it.

The reason is that we can only deal with new crises tiredly.

The Allen Peninsula Enquirer warns people in all areas of the Allen Peninsula to stock up on resources to deal with trouble.

This is destined to be the most difficult storm to deal with.

The storm will arrive in Himfast early in the morning and a little later in Belfast, but not later than mid-morning.

"The storm is coming."

Lu Li handed the newspaper to Jimmy, who was walking dully.

Jimmy took it in a daze, then remembered that he couldn't read and took it to Remy.

Soon, Remi came to Lu Li with the "Allen Peninsula Investigative Journal" and said, "We have to be prepared."

The cultivated land and newly grown plants will inevitably die in this storm, but with Lu Li, they will take root and sprout again sooner or later.

There are enough resources in the cellar, so what they need to worry more about is whether the wooden house is strong enough to prevent leakage, and Anne's safety.

The damage caused by the storm to the trees was devastating. If nothing was done, Annie, who had just recently become seriously ill and almost died, would not be able to survive the storm.

Instead of guarding Anne all that day during the storm, Remi came up with a better idea: building a temporary cabin for Anne.

It's not difficult, and it doesn't even take too long. You don't have to worry about the location of doors and windows, or worry about rain leaks, as long as it can block most of the wind.

The longest time it took to build Annie's cabin was that Jimmy spent more than an hour looking for wood, and it only took less than twenty minutes to actually build it.

A cramped wooden house to house Annie was easily built. There were no doors or windows, and the gaps were big enough to fit a finger into.

Then Jimmy, brother and sister, and Adangfuya who helped, began to strengthen their wooden house.

Throughout the afternoon, there was the lively sound of nailing wooden boards everywhere on the cliff top.
