250. Traces of Anna and Aunt Mary

The negotiations that Count Forli Adler had been waiting for did not occur, only the businessman's cold agreement.

Under the firelight of the fireplace, Count Forli Adler frowned with the dignity of a superior.

He felt it was too simple. Simplicity is often not a good thing in business. It usually means hidden secrets, trouble and the other party's demands for themselves.

"That might cost tens or millions of contribution points."

Count Forli Adler leaned forward slightly, stared into his eyes under the hood and said seriously.

"Mr. Lu Li's contribution points are enough to pay." The businessman replied.

Count Forli Adler sat back on the sofa, and the only sounds left in the hall were his breathing and the subtle crackling of the fireplace.

After thinking for a moment, Count Forley Adler asked: "Can I know the identity of Mr. Lu Li?"

"Can't."

Merchants will not sell information about exorcists, at least not to non-exorcists. However, Count Forley Adler seemed to have misunderstood something, and he looked like this.

"I understand...the Adler family agrees to this acquisition."

On the other side, the captain, who had been waiting for several minutes, was taken back to the hall by the maid.

The empty and bright hall contains only the count and the butler in front of the fireplace.

"I agreed to his acquisition."

Count Forley Adler responded to the captain's eagerness and asked the maid to take away the blanket, intending to end the visit. "You know what to do, Gray."

Apparently while Captain Gray was waiting in the drawing room, the Earl went to find out something.

"certainly!"

Captain Gray trembled slightly with excitement, bowed and said, "I will let Mr. Lu Li remember the earl's kindness..."

Count Forley Adler was so satisfied with Gray's intelligence that he didn't even care about the betrayal of his subordinates. He waved his hand: "Very good. You can go over and leave a good impression on the new boss."

The butler led Captain Gray out of the mansion, and the cold night wind failed to cool down his excitement.

Now, he is the chairman of Fourteen Shipping Company, and it was all just because that man wanted to cancel the night route——

The horseshoe galloped on the bluestone road, and the carriage returned to the commercial street outside Prince's Port, telling Lu Li that Earl Fuli Adler had agreed to his acquisition. Then he announced to the astonished second mate that he would be the first mate from now on, and sent him

Go to port and tell the crew of the Raistlin to speed up.

Captain Gray showed his ability in front of the new boss, and Lu Li also arranged the position of chairman to him as agreed.

The new chairman of the Fourteenth Shipping Company could have transferred other captains, but he did not do so and chose to lead the voyage himself.

An hour later, Tarr, who became the first mate, came and told them that the Raistlin was ready to set sail.

As daybreak approached, the early morning mist filled the harbor.

This medium-sized cruise ship with only two passengers blew its whistle and slowly left the port.

Normally, continuous sailing would cause the crew to complain, but this time it was different.

Because it was sailing in the relatively safe daytime, and everyone knew that the voyage would be paid five times as much, and there were rumors that they were passengers of their new boss.

I heard that Captain Gray even spent all his wealth to buy some fruits and vegetables at huge prices just to prepare a delicious meal.

But no one laughed at Captain Gray for being stupid. From the captain of a cruise ship to the chairman of a company with dozens of merchant ships, everyone knew what to choose.

Knowing that Lu Li was in a hurry, Captain Gray even asked the cruise ship to sail at full speed on the river just to reach the destination as soon as possible.

At full speed, the Raistlin arrived at the ice-free port of Wiener at 4 p.m. two hours ahead of schedule.

It is currently the largest port in Mainland China.

The crescent-shaped bay has some similarities between the ice-free port of Vina and the port of Rodestre. The dozens of ships floating around the bay seem to give people a sense of the past prosperity of the port of Rodeste.

However, Weiner City does not have the strong commercial atmosphere and hustle and bustle of Belfast. This seems to be related to the fact that the streets are gray and black stone buildings, with thick smoke coming from the chimneys, and passers-by are also wearing dark clothes.

And Weiner City has a substantial city lord's palace.

Under the gloomy clouds, seagulls circled over the port, and the sound of ships dispelled the desolation brought by the cold sea breeze.

The Raistlin docked slowly in the harbor. What surprised the port workers was that there were no passengers on this cruise ship. There were only a few crew members standing on the deck and building bridges.

"Do you know anyone here?" Lu Li asked.

Celica leaned against her side weakly. The whole day's sailing made her a little seasick.

"Please leave it to us to find out the information." The first mate, who was already the captain, said respectfully.

I watched the first mate leave the cruise ship. Not long after, he came back with a familiar letter.

There was still a little newsboy standing guard at the port, carrying a letter for Lu Li.

In the letters were notes left by Aunt Mary and Anna respectively.

Mary Poppins once again urged them to stop. She was about to take a boat across the channel to a deserted land. This was her last letter.

Lu Li thought that the note left by Anna was the same. But unexpectedly, Anna said that she found some clues, which pointed to the existence behind Mary Poppins who fell into the conspiracy-maybe an evil spirit.

Anna was not sure whether she could fight the evil spirit. She planned to give it a try and left a message to leave a clue after arriving in the deserted land. If Lu Li wanted to continue following, he could follow the clues to find her.

"Can we go to the deserted land?" Lu Li put away the envelope and asked Captain Gray calmly.

Captain Gray looked troubled: "The Raistlin is too small to cross the ocean, and the crew needs to rest now..."

Boiler workers have worked intensively for more than 12 hours and they need a break urgently.

"The last cruise ship to the deserted land will leave in half an hour. If you need it, I will contact them to reserve a ticket." The first mate said at this time.

Lu Li nodded lightly and looked at Celica: "The rest of the journey is not suitable for you to follow. You go back to Prince's Port with the Raistlin."

"No, I will wait for you here." Celica did not ask to follow, but she did so with her own persistence.

Lu Li didn't say anything, walked off the Raistlin, and waited at the port with Captain Celica and others.

The first mate returned a few minutes later and complained to Captain Gray that the Ashurie was only willing to provide second class cabins because both first and first class cabins were full.

Lu Li said he didn't care, and gave a thousand shillings to Celica, asking Captain Gray to take care of Celica temporarily. After saying goodbye, he boarded a large ocean-going cruise ship named the Ashuli.

The final destination of the Ashuli is the Lennon Islands. It will stop briefly at Qiaotou Port in the Deserted Land, where Lu Li will disembark.

Lu Li stood on the deck, looking down at the Raistlin not far away. Many passengers also gathered on the deck, waving goodbye to their relatives and friends below.

After a while, the deep and distant sound of the ship sounded, and the Ashuri was towed out of the port by the tugboat and slowly sailed out of the bay.

Lu Li withdrew his gaze and left the deck, walking into the cabin.
