Two hundred and seventy-five. Cheers surrounded him

The carriages of nobles and wealthy men were mixed in the crowd.

They were all dressed up, enjoying people's admiration and respect, as if they were not fleeing but attending a gathering of nobles.

The order in front of the city gate was barely maintained, because there were always some residents who were greedy and wanted to take away everything. The guards had to yell and urge them to throw away most of their things, otherwise they would die in the wilderness.

There was actually someone trying to leave the city dragging at least 100 pounds of stuff. If the guards hadn't stopped him, he wouldn't have been able to walk ten miles.

Soon, the village chief Abdel and others appeared and said goodbye to Lu Li.

"See you at Storm Point."

There was some chaos in front of the city gate when they left - a family of three wanted to return to Spin City after receiving three boxes of cans. The guards stopped them and said that there was no food in Spin City and there might be danger before stopping their behavior.

"Why not lie to the people here?"

Gulian asked Lu Li next to him: "If there is a strange attack here, maybe those who don't want to leave will leave obediently."

"Because it might really arouse some weirdness," Lu Li said.

The Lord of Nwaebili stood on a high platform, overlooking the dark crowd on the street, and sent guards to rearrange the team: women, children and children were given priority to leave the city, and young adults were queued behind.

They have better physical strength and can walk faster.

The evacuation lasted half an hour, and half of the city's population left. But soon the guards told them that some residents secretly returned from other city gates after collecting cans.

"Why?" Gulian asked puzzledly.

"They are in poor health, some are children, some are too old...it is impossible for them to reach Storm Point before dark..." the guard lowered his head and said.

Lu Li glanced at the crowd in front of the city gate, those old people, those who were stumbling. Their eyes seemed to be filled with helplessness and despair.

"City Lord." Lu Li turned his head and looked at Nwa Ebili City Lord.

Lord Nwa Ebili lowered his head slightly, indicating that he was listening.

"Collect all the carriages in the city and let those who can't get to Storm Cape before dark take them."

The slowest carriage is faster than two feet.

"Many carriages are in the hands of nobles and wealthy merchants, and they need to load property..." Lord Nwaebili hesitated. He didn't think those nobles were willing to give up their property, even if they were on their side.

"Weird won't be interested in those things. They can come and get them anytime." Gulian said.

"I'll try."

The Lord of Nwaebili called the guards and asked them to herald the carriage.

Most of the nobles and wealthy people were dissatisfied, but due to Anna's "magic", they could only free up the carriages containing unimportant goods and let the city lord arrange them for the elderly, children, and disabled people.

An hour later, the last group of people evacuated out of the city.

In the early morning, the mist-filled Revolving City was silent. Empty wooden boxes were piled up in a mess beside the city gate. The figures of the nobles and rich men on the high platform were gone, leaving only Lu Li and Anna.

The guards lined up in front of the city gate, and a carriage drove up, with Lord Nwa Ebili and Gulian sitting in it.

"Are you really not going to leave with us?" Gulian asked complicatedly.

"As I said before, we are going to solve the Time of Silence." Anna answered.

Gulian had known about it for a long time. But when he heard about it for the first time, the Lord Nwaebili and the guards were shocked and exchanged words with each other. In the end, they turned into respect.

Lord Nwaebili took off his hat, put his palms on his chest and bowed deeply: "The people on this land will remember you."

"I'm waiting for your good news at Storm Cape." Gulian said.

After saying goodbye, the city owner's carriage was surrounded by guards and left the city gate, catching up with the migrating crowd that stretched for more than ten miles.

Rumors spread across the land that a demon slayer named Lu Li was going to solve the Hour of Silence.

"Let's go to the dungeon." Anna looked away.

Walking off the high platform with Lu Li, they walked side by side on the deserted and messy streets.

Another city that disappeared due to weirdness.

The dungeon is underground in the city lord's mansion.

The iron door leading to the dark dungeon was open, and the iron key to the cell door hung on the wall without anyone noticing.

The guards gave up here, and no one thought to pay attention to the prisoners imprisoned in the dungeon. When the torches on the wall are extinguished, darkness will swallow everyone here.

Lu Li took off the torch key and walked into the dungeon with Anna.

Pairs of eyes looked over from behind the iron fence. When they discovered that Lu Li was not a guard but had the key, they crowded in front of the iron fence and asked loudly, or begged Lu Li to let them out.

"Only those who commit serious crimes equivalent to murder will be imprisoned in the dungeon, but you have the final say." Anna said softly.

Some small sounds in the dungeon would also spread. The prisoners who heard Anna's words cursed loudly, and some of them shouted that they were wronged.

A gust of breeze blew past Lu Li, and muffled sounds came from the cells where the yelling was the loudest, and the sounds suddenly stopped.

The remaining prisoners remained silent.

Lu Li and Anna walked to the cell where the members of the Church of Silent Hours were imprisoned.

Behind the iron fence, five figures wearing cloaks gathered in a circle and muttered something, which was very recognizable.

Anna stepped forward and whispered the church's motto during the quiet time: "People only think in silence."

The muttering stopped, and the figures looked up and looked outside the iron fence.

The wise old man looked at Lu Li and Anna, and his kind tone made it difficult for him to associate with cultists: "I saw the guards left an hour ago. What happened outside, kid."

"Everyone in the city has evacuated, leaving an empty city."

Anna answered, took the key from Lu Li's hand, and opened the cell door after trying several times.

"Thank you children, even if it disappears in silence, it is a good ending." The old man said happily.

The four believers remained silent, as quiet as the name of the church.

They walked out, and the emboldened prisoners begged again.

The old man stopped, glanced at their faces, shook his head slightly and said, "A group of sinners..."

Surrounded by the believers, the old man ignored the cries in his ears, stepped onto the steps, and his silhouette disappeared at the entrance of the dungeon.

Snap——

A bunch of keys arced across the arc and landed in front of the first cell. A few seconds later, a dirty hand grabbed the keys and retracted into the darkness behind the iron bars.

"The lost people have all left..."

On the street, the old man sighed.

After finding some food and clothes in the empty city, the old man asked Lu Li and Anna if they wanted to go back to the Church of Silent Hours with them - where they would be baptized and see their "Lord" at the same time.

Lu Li and Anna came here for this reason and did not refuse.

After resting for a morning, Lu Lianna set off with the believers, and her destination was the oasis where the body of Silence was located four hundred miles away.

In the afternoon, people walking in the wilderness encounter silence.

The believers were indifferent. Only Lu Li stopped during the sound of the bells and answered the believers' gazes: "I am not pious enough to the Lord to get rid of His rituals."

Lu Li's calmness made his words more credible.
