135. Ruins, Abyss, Cultist, Tree, Brown Car

"Ask Andrea why she brought us here."

Lu Li said to his eldest sister, unfolding the map.

They have not walked through it. This ruins should be between Belfast and Himfast, and its location is not marked on the map.

Lu Li recalled whether there were any ruins on the south coast of Allen Peninsula, but found nothing.

"It said your destination is here." The eldest sister in the hood replied at this time.

Andrea mistook this ruins for Himfast Port.

A misunderstanding or some kind of coincidence.

"Mr. Lu Li, the prophet's prediction..." Pusius reminded Lu Li when he remembered something.

Wow——

Folding the newspaper, Lu Li looked around at the ruins shrouded in gray-white mist.

The foggy weather did not leave much unknown in this ruins. Time has eroded everything that can be taken away. Standing in the center, you can almost observe the entire ruins.

There are still some strange phenomena existing in this ruins. For example, all the statues are missing their faces. They are unnaturally damaged, and their heads all have obvious signs of being gouged.

"Is there something weird here?"

"I didn't feel anything!" the eldest sister said, retracting her hood.

After thinking for a moment, Lu Li said to Catalina and others who were looking at them: "Explore the ruins and don't spread too far."

"OK!"

Pusius felt that they had never been so close to the answer, so he couldn't wait to run out, his face pressed to the ground and sniffing, and his face was covered with dust.

Catalina walked in the opposite direction to it, pulled out her dagger, and explored the ruins with her back slightly arched like a cheetah.

"I...protect you."

Ophelia did not leave Lu Li.

"Thanks."

Lu Li moved forward and went deeper into the ruins.

Standing stone pillars and collapsed stone statues could be seen everywhere. Lu Li quietly looked for traces that did not belong here, such as writing, messy footprints, or corpses.

Stomping on the gravel under his feet, Lu Li stepped onto the center of the ruins.

Here you can see Pusius and Pusius sniffing in the mist, and Andrea's huge black shadow is looming on the sea.

Lu Li kicked something in the gravel. He pushed aside the surrounding gravel and revealed a square stone protruding from the ground.

"There's a hole here!"

Katarina's shout suddenly came from the left.

Lu Li withdrew his gaze and approached Catalina with Pusius, who was running back.

She stood next to an incomplete stone statue. Behind the stone statue, at the bottom, a deep cave leading to the ground was revealed.

"Do you recognize the claw marks?"

Lu Li observed the claw marks on the edge. The cave was dug out by these marks.

"About twice as big as us, with hair, and limbs as flexible as hands." Katarina analyzed the strange features of the claw marks, and took out a fluorite and threw it into the cave.

The weakly fluorescent stone fell straight down for a distance, hit the edge and popped out of sight, and the sound of Gulu's rolling disappeared deep into the depths.

The cave slopes sideways at four or five meters.

"I'll... go down first."

After preparing to enter the cave to investigate, Ophelia spoke.

"be safe."

"I love you too."

Ophelia hoarsely expressed her love to Lu Li, while Caterina and Pusius crawled into the cave with strange expressions on their faces.

A rich burning smell rose from the entrance of the cave, and the dark cave lit up with dark lines like burning charcoal.

The rustling sound disappeared deep into the cave. As several people on the ground waited quietly, Ophelia's rough whisper echoed.

"There are caves... they... left."

"Let's go down too."

Lu Li said, Catalina blocked him, held a dagger in her mouth, and went down second with an oil lamp.

After a moment, Catalina's shout sounded from the edge of the light.

"Come down."

Lu Li picked up Pusius and slid it into the cave.

The dark red lines in the cracks of Ophelia's body became dim. Catalina returned the oil lamp to Lu Li, picked up the fluorite, took it back, and looked at the rock wall that Lu Li was observing.

The underground cave leads from the ground to this cave, and traces of human tools can be seen on the edge of the cave.

"Is this a mine?"

"It might be a shelter." Lu Li looked away.

He knew of a sanctuary on the Arran Peninsula.

Tesla, Baron Joseph were there... and the shelter was never opened.

"Shelter? Here?" Catalina looked up in surprise.

"You'll find out if you keep moving forward." Lu Li's gaze fell deep into the cave.

But there are still other possibilities. For example, this is an abandoned mine, or a cave dug by exorcists to solve the ruins. But it is more likely that the shelter is deep——

Weird would not pointlessly dig a tunnel to this place.

There are also prophecies from the Ever Dreamer pointing to this place.

Hope they are not late.

Ophelia, the most powerful, walked in front.

Pusius followed at the feet of Lu Li and Catalina.

"Where did the weird footprints go?" He found no weird footprints closest to the ground.

"Blowed away by the wind?"

Catalina wetted her fingers, raised them, and shook her head at Lu Li, who was looking at him: "There is almost no wind here..."

"Maybe it was swept away by weird hairs."

The traces of the burrow are still new, not too long ago from the excavation, at least they did not exist before the last rain.

Moving deeper into the cave, what he saw along the way confirmed Lu Li's guess.

Stone gates that were dug out by strange holes, steps that wind down for hundreds of meters, several secret doors that were integrated into the rock but were dug out by strange things - no one would build these underground.

snap——

Passing through the last secret door, the reverberating sound of falling stones brought the result that they had arrived at a space suspected of being a refuge.

This vast underground world is dark and silent.

The shelter appears to have been abandoned long ago.

"There... there is a sound."

Ophelia turned her head towards the corner of the underground space.

"Go over and have a look."

The oil lamp dispersed the darkness around them, and they passed a group of wooden houses. The dust and dilapidation in the surroundings indicated that these houses had not been inhabited for several years, or even longer.

It took more than ten minutes to walk through the shelter and arrive at the stone wall where Ophelia heard the sound.

They saw the gap in the secret door and heard the chaotic noise behind the gap.

There is still a space deep in the shelter.

Drilling through the gap and continuing forward along the secret passage extending downward, they were able to see the strange full picture of the invasion in the cave at the end: its body was larger than imagined, with hair on its surface like plush balls, and dozens of slender monster claws.

From deep within the hair.

They heard the noisy shouts on the other end that were blocked by strange things, and they were human voices.

"Do you have any idea?" Lu Li asked Ophelia.

"It...is afraid of...fire."

The gaps in Ophelia's body flashed with dark red light, slowly overflowing...

The scorching heat wave made Catalina and the others retreat. Only the protected Lu Li stayed in place, watching the magma gush out of Ophelia's body and flow around him toward Weird.

The hair has become a strange burden, and the magma has turned its hair into balls of fire, even its flesh and blood are burning.

In the sudden burst of painful howls, Weird was destroyed by magma and more powerful power.

The strangeness gradually dissipated to reveal the situation on the other side: holding weapons and torches to fight against the strange shelter residents.

It also revealed Lu Li's silhouette.

After the dim ashes like sparks, the surging and fissuring dark red magma flowed around it.
