One hundred and sixty-six. Believe in the prophet

Twisted Church Camp.

A roaring giant bonfire greets the last group of guests.

The Church of Shadows arrived first, and the pagans who followed were uninvited guests.

The pan-believers in the Twisted Church camp did not object to this cooperation, and the believers of the ancient deep-sea god led by the Tentacle Cultists even more enthusiastically supported this jihad, but some residents were worried that this would arouse the hostility of the remaining old god.

The twisted figure still chose to cooperate with Lu Li because it would make the church stronger and because he believed in the prophet.

"It's a pleasure to work together again, like before..."

The low hum of the twisted figure is like a musical instrument, echoing in the empty church.

He, who was the "Book Elf" twenty-four years ago, selected the books Lu Li needed.

This kind of nostalgia and reminiscing can indeed make people let go of their insistence on cooperation.

After Lu Li arrived, Bishop Jon retreated behind him like an old servant and followed him.

Lu Li took out the book "Belfast" and bent down to put it on the bench next to him: "Do you know the result?"

"The prophet told me..."

The twisted figure is not concealed.

Perhaps the future the Eternal Dreamer saw told the twisted figure a prophecy, and he used "Belfast" to hint that Lu Li also belonged to the indispensable horseshoe nail.

"How far are the pagans from here?" Lu Li asked.

"I feel them in Belfast... approaching."

The upcoming battle will not be against the Twisted Vine Church, so even if they win, they will not be able to bear the loss of the camp being destroyed.

They placed the fighting location in a neighborhood outside the camp, and the Twisted Camp and the Church of Shadows were already making preparations.

As the only untrustworthy human being, Lu Li will not go near the battlefield.

Without the distorted faith of the church that allows believers to have a semi-permanent consciousness, even the pollution from the aftermath of a battle would cause Lu Li's sanity to collapse and fall into madness.

A believer entered the church, picked up the sleeping Pusius in his hands, and took him as a bait to the ambush like a sacrifice.

Soon after, the twisted figure and Bishop Jon also left together, and Ophelia also went to help.

Only Lu Li and the merchant were left in the empty church burning candlelight.

This is the safest place in the camp.

A simple sentry tower built in just a few dozen minutes stands in the middle of the block.

The Tentacle Cultists and their companions smeared magic circles on the broken streets and ruined houses, hoping to return the curse and their hatred placed on Pusius to their enemies.

Thirty-six followers of the Church of Shadow gathered in a former tavern hall to impose a vicious curse on heretics.

Everything is ready. After a brief commotion, they hide themselves, the light dims, and darkness and mist occupy the place again.

The snowy nights here are quiet.

Time passed quietly, and something gradually emerged from the darkness at the end of the street.

They held oil lamps in their hands and squirmed forward in two lines.

An unbearable rotten stench filled the air around them.

They passed through the fog and stopped at the intersection, painting the edges of the broken streets in a circle.

"Human, where are you?"

An obscure whisper rang out from the front outline, and in the deep darkness only the wind and snow answered it.

"We don't want to fight. Let's find humans to help us build ships."

The silhouette continues to whisper slowly.

call

A dazzling fire lit up in response.

Twisted and broken light and shadow surround the twisted figure floating in the low sky.

"What does shipbuilding mean..."

He said.

"The gods they believed in were devoured by strange things. The gods passed down oracles before they died. They were shrouded in darkness, no longer bright, and left this land."

The devout Shadow Church bowed in front of Lu Li and narrated everything.

"The pagans came to Belfast and built ships in the port, but they were unable to build ships and were forced to stop. At this time, you were noticed by them as you passed by, and you left a mark on Pusius to follow you."

"They want to get the shipbuilding blueprints from you."

"Where are Katrina and Andrea?" Lu Li asked.

"The tentacles... said... they... were not... those... heathens."

They were not the ones who left the pollution in Himfast, nor were they the ones who took away Katarina and Andrea.

The actions of these heretics who tried to build ships to escape and the Himfast pollution coincided accidentally.

"They want to communicate with you." The believer continues to convey the purpose of the pagans.

Twisted Figure would not let them enter the camp rashly or get close to Lu Li. However, they had a suitable communication candidate in Pusius.

The twisted figure and the believers stayed outside the camp to stare at the pagans. Ophelia returned with Pusius, who asked Lu Li to communicate with the leader of the pagans.

Just like the news brought back by the believers, they only want the blueprint of the ship.

It is unknown whether the pagans decided to negotiate because of the power behind Lu Li or whether they had thought so from the beginning.

Everyone thinks it's the latter.

Lu Li can indeed give them what they need. And giving the ship blueprints to a group of fleeing pagans will not threaten the living environment of mankind, at least not as much as the threat of worm invasion.

Ask businessman Anthony to contact the city hall and send back the news that Mayor Mateus seems to be dealing with something important. The Privy Council made the decision and gave Lu Li some blueprints for ocean-going ships that were not battleships.

The pagan leader selected a medium-sized ocean-going ship of similar size to their half-built keel. It paid for it with a sack full of strange currency and the recovery of Psius's mark.

It seemed that the deal was not equitable, and Lu Li and the others, especially Pusius, had to pay some price for it. But it would be a good thing for everyone if a fight did not break out.

The pagan leader who obtained the blueprints sent an invitation to Lu Li and other people in the camp, hoping that they could go to the port to watch the sailing when the fog and eternal night cleared.

After the pagans left, Bishop Jon whispered to Lu Li that they could keep these pagans... as long as they paid some price.

"It's better not to... They have taken away the mark, right? I feel very good now." Pusius didn't want to cause any more trouble to everyone.

In the end, Lu Li did not waste these followers of Anna on meaningless things.

Lu Li stored the bag containing 96 strange coins in the merchant's body. Lu Li looked for the tentacle cultist who had returned to the camp and asked it: "Can you tell me the information about the old god forces that are hostile to you?"

"Why do you need to know this..."

The Tentacle Cultists were confused.

"Our companions disappeared after being contaminated, and it is suspected to be related to them."

The Tentacle Cultist glanced at Lu Li, Ophelia, and even Pusius like a toad: "I will tell you."

Treating the enemy strangely does not require the meaningless sense of glory of "killing the enemy with your hands". Hostility will make their hatred destroy everything of the opponent, and they will do whatever it takes.

"If you can weaken them, you will receive a gift from our Lord."

"We...don't...need."

Ophelia didn't want Lu Li to turn into an ugly, slimy fish.

Just then, the pagan leader who had left came back.

"What you are looking for, Andrea, is a ship?" it said.

"My fellow countrymen, tell me... it, stay, bay, is going to sink."
