Two hundred and two. On the way to the voyage

[Plankaner Town: Facing a deserted land, you are no longer lonely; backed by rocky mountains, it is like a small Belfast; with beautiful environment, you can enjoy the unique golden beach; with a refuge cave, you are no longer afraid of tsunamis and storms; neighbors...

…nobles, professors…scholars…]

A broken wooden poster stands crookedly on the edge of a gravel-buried road.

The road behind leads to a quiet town silhouetted in the mist.

Ophelia walked in front, with Lu Li, Pusius and the God of the Deep lagging behind. Believers gathered around and behind them, breathing life into the silent town.

The corrosive sea breeze that lasts day and night has made the town no longer colorful, and has been covered with gray gauze by the gravel.

Passing through this small town that can accommodate several hundred residents on a gravel road, Lu Li stopped the God of the Deep Sea from rashly advancing to the top of the mountain and retreated to the small town.

This is not the Allen Peninsula, everything around is strange and unknown.

Let the believers explore the surroundings while Lu Li unfolds the map.

The map of the Lennon Islands before it was broken does not have town information, but it seems that you can analyze which island it is based on the mountain. There are only two mountains in the Lennon Islands: Snake Head Mountain and Watcher Mountain.

One is on the main island of the Lennon Islands, and the other is on an island called Santa Lena. The latter is more likely.

There are no debris reefs around the island, and the town of Plankaner was built in the old days. The intact sea area and buildings indicate that the island is still complete. Obviously, the center of the Lennon Islands is the most completely broken place.

Santa Lina Island, located in the southwest, corresponds exactly to their location.

"Why don't you just go up the rocky mountain?"

"Because you have to be careful, you see there are so many caves on the mountain..."

Pusius looked at Lu Li who was carefully observing the map, and whispered to the God of the Deep Sea.

"Rocky mountain, cave, can you see that mountain?"

Lu Li frowned and looked up. The fog still enveloped the entire island, leaving only the outline of the mountain.

"Of course I can see it," Pusius replied in confusion.

"I can...see it too," Ophelia said.

Everyone could see the entire island and the mountain, except for Lu Li's vision, everything was covered in mist.

Because Lu Li is human?

Lu Li asked Pusius about the details of the rocky mountain, and in his mind he pictured a bare mountain peak with only rocks and deep caves.

The caves are dense and eye-catching. Compared with the "refuge cave" written on the wooden poster, the entire mountain is more like a honeycomb, growing ominously and horribly on the mountain.

"Will the power of the residual body affect vision?" Lu Li asked.

"I don't know..."

"Can your power help me clear the fog?" Lu Li asked again.

"I can't find the source..."

"Your Excellency, the Life of the Deep Sea, can't you even do anything about it? The recovered body obviously kept the entire forest alive." Pusius drooped his ears regretfully and asked Lu Li: "Mr. Lu Li, the fog has no effect on you, right?"

"Not yet."

The sanity counter did not go off, and delirium did not occur, except for the itching of the wound on his palm due to the tight bandage.

"What is that?"

Pusius, who was looking at the rocky mountain, suddenly exclaimed.

They saw various silhouettes coming out of the cave. They were lined up in two rows, surrounding the strange town in the center that was close to the foot of the mountain.

They seemed to have no ill intentions. Two rows of monsters stayed outside the town, and the fat, swollen monster like a toad knelt down and worshiped, staying close to the people on the street with piety.

"I feel... the breath of my followers."

As the God of the Deep Sea whispered, Lu Li caught a glimpse of the outline of a giant frog in the mist.

The slippery body secreting mucus was covered with gravel, and a strange cry came from under the head buried in the ground: "Your most loyal slave is guarding your holy body and has been waiting for your return!"

"Do you know me?" the god of the deep sea whispered majestically.

The outline of the giant frog trembled when he heard the sound: "The lord who controls the ocean, the eternal ancient god, the patron saint of the world, the ancient ruler of ancient times, the god of the deep sea! This humble servant is your most devout believer!"

They were lucky that the third body was actually protected by believers who still believed in the God of the Deep Sea.

"Did you just talk about the holy body?"

"Yes Master, He is at the top of the mountain!"

"Take me there."

The outline of the giant frog still did not dare to raise its head and look directly at the god, and screamed: "Your slaves have not felt faith from them, are they enemies!"

The God of the Deep Sea suddenly became quiet, and the shadow under his cloak faced everyone.

Ophelia was quietly brewing strength, Lu Li watched quietly, and only the heartless Pusius didn't realize anything.

"They...are my companions," He said.

"Please ask the God of the Deep Sea and the envoys of the gods to follow you."

The silhouette of the giant frog climbed up with its head lowered, leading everyone back to its hands and onto the rocky mountain.

"You...who believes in me?"

Lu Li listened to the whispers of the God of the Deep Sea and observed the giant frog's men. They were made up of all kinds of weird things, and he even saw ghouls and mantises among them.

"It was Lord Campbell who led the slaves to become your followers."

"Who is Campbell?" Pusius, who was following at his feet, asked in a low voice.

"I..." The God of the Deep Sea paused slightly: "There are some things that are difficult to remember clearly. It seems that they were my followers from the last era."

The giant frog followers led them into the cave. As they went deeper, the rock walls were replaced by carpeted floors and a corridor-like arrangement in a manor house hung with crystal chandeliers.

There are even windows in the corridor, and outside the window are the underground gardens illuminated by fluorite, and clusters of brightly blooming flowers crowd the green lawn. If it weren't for the lack of natural light, they would have thought they were in some aristocratic manor.

Ophelia particularly liked this place. Every oil painting on the wall and every standing sculpture made her stare at it for a long time. She could recognize these famous oil paintings and sculptures. If they were not too complete, she would even think they were genuine.

The same goes for Pusius. He saw almost endless books in the library he passed, enough for him to die of old age.

But for Lu Li, everything here is covered with a veil of mist that isolates the world. The flowers and plants are not bright, and the oil paintings and sculptures are not heavy. Everything gives Lu Li an indescribable sense of isolation, as if the world has rejected him.

The giant frog quickly crawled away and prepared for the next ceremony before retrieving the body. They had to participate in one more ceremony.

That is a ritual left behind by the God of the Deep Sea who was once an ancient being.

Although the God of the Deep Sea has long been forgotten, his devout servants still remember it. Unfortunately, limited resources make the giant frog cry and unable to fully restore the ritual.

After the banquet ceremony, they will be able to take back the body parts. However, they still need to cleanse their bodies before participating in the banquet.

Servants dressed in human clothes led them into the guest rooms, brought them hot water, towels, and clothes that fit their respective body types. Perhaps the giant frog deliberately arranged for a human, or at least a beautiful girl who looked human, to enter the room to serve them.

Lu Li.

And Lu Li recognized her.

"Jojo."
