27. Lu Li's Dream

The warm and bright morning sun shines into the auditorium, and tiny floating dust floats around.

The students were surprised to find that although the New Year's decorations were cleared away late at night, the old professor's sunny creativity was preserved.

Fudot hurried over and regained her elegance and pride as she entered the auditorium. She raised her chin, stared at the black-haired figure bathing in the sun with her peripheral vision, and sat down in her seat as usual.

"That's just my cousin."

"What."

Lu Li's dark eyes moved slightly as he was eating quietly.

"The person who dances with me..." Fudot tried her best to maintain her pride.

Lu Li's dark eyes became silent again and he chewed his food silently.

Fuduot asked Xiangrou, the first to arrive: "What's wrong with Lu Li?"

"It seems that I haven't woken up yet." Dog Rou is in good condition. The food at the New Year's dinner is impeccable in taste and taste: "It's the same when I'm very sleepy."

"Lu Li is not you." Fuduot couldn't hide her dislike of dog meat.

She didn't know that Gorou was right.

Lu Li was still immersed in the effects of the Sweet Dream Potion, or rather the side effects.

After waking up, everything that happened around him gave Lu Li an illusion of unreality. It was as if he was still sleeping in a dream and had not yet woken up.

Maybe it was a side effect of the Sweet Dream Potion, or maybe it was because Lu Li woke up so that the effects of the medicine hadn't worn off yet.

It was not until the end of the first mystery class that Lu Li resumed his weak thinking amid Professor Hagrid's worries.

The level 1 trial in the inner world that was originally going to be held today was temporarily put on hold. Apart from the necessary classes, Lu Li spent most of the time reading in his dormitory.

A confusing day passed, and Lu Li, who fell asleep that night, fell into a chaotic dream.

When a new day came, Lu Li regained his senses, no longer confused, and had never been so clear-headed.

And the knowledge I learned yesterday is completely engraved in my mind.

So in the next two days, Lu Li passed the level 1 trials of Weird Knowledge and Botany one after another.

Now, the last two credits left before promotion to the middle grade are the Divination Level 1 Trial, and Divination is still a little more mature.

"Meditation...perception...the answers come to mind..."

In the darkness and nothingness, the lingering whisper of the nameless lady sounded in my ears.

"Your will travels through nothingness...your eyes glimpse the truth behind the cards...your ears whisper answers...your hand writes the truth..."

The dim blue candle dimmed, and the light of the oil lamp gradually brightened, making the divination classroom bright again.

"Let me see...Mundo...Raphael...oh, there are seven little guys who haven't written anything." The nameless lady turned to the other students. "Larue...right; Vasily...um...

...Of course it is correct; Mendy? Your handwriting is getting worse and worse... let your hands practice how to write... Fudote... you are very talented, aren't you..."

"Then there is our Mr. Lu Li... Unfortunately, you are wrong again."

Divination, which obviously requires the talent of perceptual thinking and inspiration, has not spread its wings of blessing to Lu Li.

Lu Li couldn't waste too much time on Divination, which only required level 1.

He needs a special approach.

During the divination class the next day, Lu Li sat in the lecture theater. It seemed to be no different from usual, except for a book-shaped chess piece placed on the table.

Today's divination class is still about guessing the tarot cards. In the dim blue candlelight, the nameless lady with a ghostly face turned out the tarot cards and guided the students into a meditative state.

"The answer appears in your mind...your will travels through the void...your eyes glimpse the reality behind the cards...the answer whispers in your ears..."

Between the unnamed lady's words of guidance, a voice passed through the misty void and whispered in Lu Li's ears.

"The Hanged Man..."

"...your hand writes the truth..."

Bright light replaced the darkness. Lu Li wrote the answer "The Hanged Man" on the parchment and put down his quill.

He looked around and couldn't find the outline that he thought about day and night, so he silently picked up the Doomsday Apocalypse Book.

The nameless lady continued to comment one after another, and it was Lu Li's turn: "... Mr. Lu Li... you succeeded... by chance or necessity, the answer will be revealed tomorrow..."

At lunchtime, Lu Li appeared in the auditorium with a stack of tarot cards.

Lu Li needs Gorou to help him practice divination.

"He just wants to eat, so I'll help you." Fudot glared at Gorou who wanted to say something, turned out a tarot card and held it down.

Lu Li put down the Doomsday Apocalypse Book under the curious gazes of those around him, closed his eyes and was immersed in inspiration.

The noise faded away, and nothingness enveloped the world.

"tower……"

The murmur passed through the mist and sounded in the distance.

"Tower." Lu Li said calmly.

"Right, then the next one."

The cards and noise faded away again, and Lu Li listened quietly...hearing a lost whisper: "Wheel of Fortune...where are you?"

"Wheel of Fortune."

"That's right again, do you want to continue?"

"continue."

In the chaos where everything was nothing, a whisper slowly sounded.

"Hermit...continue...continue..."

Lu Li gradually frowned as the voice got closer...

He opened his eyes at this moment, and the nothingness faded, and bright sunlight shone between the tables, chairs, and figures.

"It's a 'bystander', you should stop." Fodor pursed her lips slightly and stared at the bloodshot eyes appearing on the edge of Lu Li's black pupils.

Because he relied on low sanity to bring inspiration, Lu Li fell slightly into a negative state called "bystander" in divination science. If he continues to divination, Lu Li's body may be temporarily occupied by some being...

These disappeared when Lu Li picked up the Doomsday Apocalypse Book, although the inspiration also disappeared.

At noon the next day, Lu Li fulfilled the words of the nameless lady: accidental or inevitable, the answer will be revealed tomorrow.

In the Divination Level 1 trial, only Lu Li and a freckled girl named Vasily participated.

Vasili, who was praised for his talent by the nameless lady, was surprised when Lu Li appeared here and waved to him.

Lu Li nodded in response and sat down.

The cold gatekeeper handed out parchment papers, most of which were the same as other level 1 trials, requiring only theoretical knowledge.

Only the last question has changed: a tarot card printed on the back on parchment.

[divide its cards]

Lu Li took out the Doomsday Apocalypse Book, released his palms, and closed his eyes.

Sense...listen...touch.

"die……"

Whispers lingering with a cold aura sounded, approaching quickly.

Lu Li suddenly opened his eyes and held the Doomsday Apocalypse Book. The coldness brought from the void quickly faded away.

Lu Li was not suitable for divination again in the short term, but it was no longer needed. He wrote the answer on the parchment and left the divination classroom.

A few minutes later, outside the rest area, Lu Li knocked on the door of the occult office.

"Professor Hagrid."

Professor Hagrid behind the door was filled with mixed emotions of emotion and excitement.

"I know why you're here...can you give us some time to discuss?"
