Chapter 27: Cave Mansion in the Mountain

Feng Ziqing lay on his back and climbed a few steps from the entrance of the cliff to the exit. Below the exit were several long and pointed rocks, one of which was tied to the other end of a rough vine. This should be a long and sharp stone.

The handwriting of a tailed monkey.

My vision was dark, and I could barely see clearly that there was a winding and long narrow corridor going down from the exit, with a faint light in the distance.

He jumped down after the two long-tailed monkeys, bent forward, looked for the light, and walked step by step to the other end of the corridor.

After walking for about half a cup of tea, the light became brighter and brighter, the corridor became higher, and finally we arrived at the other end of the corridor.

Standing at the exit, he looked up and said, "Hey, this is not a cave, it's a cave."

What a bargain, hahaha

Feng Ziqing leaned over, jumped, and landed heavily. He couldn't wait for the adult long-tailed monkey to lead the way, and ran straight to the center of the cave.

This is a cave.

The cave has a radius of more than ten feet and is in the shape of a semicircle.

In the center is a small attic with three floors and a simple style. There is no plaque on the main door, and the doors and windows are closed at this time.

On the right side is a clear spring three feet wide, with bubbles emerging from time to time. The spring water divides into streams, one flowing west, passing in front of the steps of the attic, and flowing into the lotus pond on the left side of the attic. One flowing east, passing by a four-corner pavilion, inside the pavilion

There was only a futon on the ground and nothing else.

The stream flows further forward, and an unknown flower is planted. The stream circles it in a circle, and finally flows to the innermost side of the cave. In the water circle, the flower buds hang low and have withered for a long time.

The lotus pond is not big. There are only lotus leaves floating on the surface, but no lotus flowers. Next to the lotus pond is a sword stand about two or three feet wide, which is either inserted or scattered on the ground. There are more than ten swords in total, most of them are covered with dust, and some of them have been damaged.

It's rusty.

Further forward from the sword platform is the real entrance and exit of the cave, which is as tall as two adults. Standing in the cave and looking out, you can see the cliffs below and the mountains, lush trees and river in front of you.

Feng Ziqing stood at the entrance of the cave and looked at it for a long time. He couldn't help but admire it. It was such a beautiful place to hide in the world. He opened his mouth, but a sentence or two of poems suitable for the occasion did not come out of his mouth. He shook his head. Alas, hunger makes me unable to

What a poetic talent.

Behind him came the chirping sound of the little vervet monkey, tugging at the corners of his pants, urging him to follow. He looked up and saw that the adult vervet monkey was already squatting in the corridor on the first floor of the attic, waving to him.

He bent down and clapped his hands, and the little long tail jumped lightly on his arm. Feng Ziqing raised his hand and put it on his shoulder, and strode towards the attic.

After crossing the clear spring stream and going up the steps, one person and two monkeys walked around the main door and came to the back of the attic. He tried every window on the way, but it was still closed.

Feng Ziqing was wondering when the little long-tailed monkey on his arm jumped down and ran under the row of windows. He took a closer look and jumped hard, but did not touch the window.

Seeing this scene, Feng Ziqing laughed loudly. Who had installed the window so high that the little guy couldn't even touch it?

The adult vervet monkey shook his head, came to the little vervet monkey, picked it up, and threw it up. The latter jumped up with the help of his strength, pushed his hands forward, and with a "bang" sound, a window was hit.

He opened the door and broke through the window first.

A man and a monkey followed closely behind.

The main hall is relatively empty. There are no stairs on both sides to go up to the second floor, and there are no gaps in the roof.

Walking around the beams and pillars to the front of the main hall, what caught my eye was a confession, which was slightly broken. There were seven tablets on the confession, arranged in two rows. The two at the top were slightly larger and the five at the bottom were slightly smaller.

Feng Ziqing took a closer look and saw that the top two blocks were engraved with the names of the mountain guard Yi Meng and the mountain guard Chen Yue respectively; the bottom five blocks were engraved with the mountain guard sinners, and there were two more rows of small characters, which wrote which continent and country the person was from.

How come to this.

The little long-tailed monkey lifted up the cloth under the confession, got in, and pulled out a large wooden basin filled with red and green wild fruits.

The little long-tailed monkey picked a big one and handed it over. Feng Zi took it with a chuckle, touched its head, sat down on the ground, picked two big ones from the wooden basin, and handed them to the big and small ones respectively.

Long-tailed monkeys. The small long-tailed monkeys immediately danced and chirped, and the big ones also started to scream.

Just like that, one person and two monkeys sat on the ground and started to devour everything, and then they ate everything.

With a burp, Feng Zi patted his belly, with a satisfied look on his face. He felt a little guilty in his heart. After all, these should be their rations for several days, and he ate them all in one go. He felt a little bit sorry.

He stood up, patted his butt, and walked around the hall to see if he could find anything. The result was unsatisfactory and nothing special.

There shouldn't be. There are no stairs outside or inside the palace, and there are no holes in the roof. How can we get up to the second floor? Well, maybe it's similar to Qingfeng Village. Is there some kind of deception?

Feng Ziqing climbed out of the window, picked up a bunch of small stones, and threw them at different locations into the attic.

As expected, there was no obstruction on the first floor. On the contrary, when every stone was about to hit the windows on the second and third floors, it would bounce off an invisible wall and fall near the attic.

Since it doesn't work from the outside, let's check it from the inside.

Returning to the temple, he patted the two long-tailed monkeys, pointed to the corner, and motioned them to hide aside. Then he kept throwing stones on the roof of the temple, making constant noises.

Still to no avail.

Feng Zi touched his chin lightly, it seemed that this didn't work either.

He sighed, feeling a little helpless. There might be good things on there, but it was a pity that he had no luck with them.

He walked to the beam, folded his hands on his chest, leaned back casually, and made a "bang" sound.

Huh? Something was wrong. He knocked with his fingers and found that it was indeed hollow. He groped along the beam and finally found a slight groove at the bottom corner of the beam.

He pressed lightly, and there was a click sound, and a circular hole about half a foot wide appeared in the center of the beam. He stretched his hand in and touched it. Sure enough, what was inside was the real beam, and

The periphery of the beam and column is a circle of shell, and there is a pull ring above the inside of the hole.

Good guy, I asked you why the beams here are much bigger than outside. It turns out there is a secret inside.

Feng Ziqing pulled the ring down with his hand. There was a roaring sound. He looked for the sound. On the roof in the west corner of the hall, a thick wooden board slowly rose up, and then moved to the side. A wooden staircase slowly

Stretch downward and finally land on the ground.

The sound of the machine stops, and the entrance to the second floor is right in front of you.

The two long-tailed monkeys squatting in the corner were dancing and dancing, their eyes full of curiosity. Feng Ziqing took the lead in climbing up the stairs and walked to the second floor.

After the two monkeys climbed up to the second floor, the holes in the beams and columns slowly closed, the stairs began to slowly retract, and the wooden boards returned to their original positions.

Compared to the first floor, the second floor can be said to be spotless.

This is a study room. Two light cyan talismans hang side by side on the roof, illuminating the whole room. They should be the bright lamp talisman and quiet dust talisman that Deng Zhi mentioned before. They are common objects placed on the mountain outside.

.

There are bookshelves on both sides, and between the bookshelves is a table with four immortals, with two tables and stools on each side; a landscape painting hangs on the wall in the middle, with an inscription that reads, "Guardian of the Mountain, our Covenant", and the inscription is exactly Then Yi Meng Chen Yue and the two of them.

Below the painting is a long table with a thick book placed diagonally on it, and an old porcelain vase placed on each side with a few dry flower branches inserted in the vase;

It has been uninhabited for a long time, but it is spotless. It must be the handiwork of a practitioner.

Looking around, there seems to be nothing special except for the two talismans above the head.

Feng Ziqing came to the table under the painting, picked up the thick book titled Shou Shan Long Lu, and started to read it.
