Chapter 4 The Doctor Doesn't Help

Yuan Qingling was stunned for a moment, and some memories suddenly came to his mind. The day before Brother Huo's accident, the original owner had just scolded him and asked him to cover the wooden boards on the latrine more tightly. His accident should have happened from the latrine.

He rolled down and was injured by a nail.

And these tasks should not be done by him.

Not only that, because the people she came to marry were sold out. She took her anger out on these people arranged by the King of Chu. She often hit or scolded the people around her, and even her grandmother was hit by a cup.

A lot of blood was shed.

The original owner had a bad heart. No wonder he was annoying.

"Ask his grandma if I can go see him?" Yuan Qingling asked.

"If the princess had such a kind heart, she would not have ended up like this. There is no need to be hypocritical. Grandma and Brother Huo don't want to see the princess either." After finishing the green shoots, he turned around and went out.

The door is closed again.

Yuan Qingling sighed softly. Is the child going to die soon?

She didn't know how serious Brother Huo's injuries were. She didn't know how the doctors here would treat his wounds. If they weren't handled properly, it would probably be a corneal detachment, eyeball explosion, and infection.

Life was more important to her than anything else, but she still couldn't eat with peace of mind. She opened the medicine box, took a few antibiotics, and walked out.

His mother-in-law sold herself to the royal family. Brother Huo was a slave born in the family and lived in the short courtyard behind Fengyi Pavilion.

Yuan Qingling turned around several times and finally found it.

"What are you doing here?" His mother-in-law saw her and stared at Yuan Qingling with a pair of red and swollen eyes, full of hatred on her face.

"I want to see Brother Huo." Yuan Qingling.

"You leave, our mother-in-law and grandson can't bear it!" His mother-in-law said coldly.

Yuan Qingling tried to apologize, "I'm sorry, I didn't know that asking him to repair the latrine would cause such an accident..."

"Accident? He is only nine years old and can only do some sweeping. But you ask him to repair the hut. There are special people in the house to do the repair work, but you don't allow other people to do it. You just ask him to do it.

If you want to embarrass him, he is only nine years old, why are you so cruel?"

Faced with his grandma's angry questioning, Yuan Qingling didn't know how to defend herself.

She has never been good at words.

She had no choice but to hand a few pills of antibiotics to her nanny, "Give him these pills, three times a day, two pills at a time..."

The pill in her hand was knocked to the ground by her grandma. She crushed it and said, "No, please come back, princess. I don't want to scold anyone, but I want to do good deeds for my grandson."

Yuan Qingling looked at the medicines turned into powder and felt very distressed. There were not many antibiotics in the medicine box.

Looking at her grandma's angry and sad face, she knew that there was nothing she could do, so she had to turn around and leave.

Brother Huo became critically ill that night.

Her mother-in-law still won the heart of the King of Chu. After the King of Chu knew the situation, he specially asked his retainers to invite Dr. Li, a famous man in the capital, to come over. When Dr. Li saw the situation, he shook his head without giving any prescriptions and asked him to prepare for the funeral.

His grandma cried heartbreakingly, and her cries reached Yuan Qingling's ears. Yuan Qingling walked out quickly and grabbed Lu Ya who hurried over, "What happened?"

"Brother Huo is almost gone." Luya blurted out in desperation, not caring about hating her.

Yuan Qingling was so anxious that she went back to the house, grabbed the medicine box and ran over.

His mother-in-law knelt on the ground and begged Doctor Li. Doctor Li looked at his retainer Tang Yang for help. Tang Yang said in embarrassment, "Doctor, why don't you give it a try?"

Doctor Li sneered, "Try? If I take over the job for a dying person, it will damage my reputation."

After hearing this, her grandma almost fainted from crying. She kept gasping and shouted, "My poor grandson!"
