Early the next morning, my father and mother had obviously reconciled.
My mother returned to her normal self, busy making breakfast and doing housework, while my father sat in the living room and read the newspaper.
Sure enough, both Nagayama Ken and Nagayama Nanako are happy in their marriage.
Nagayama Naoki had to leave early in the morning, and there was still a long journey waiting for him.
However, Tsuruko persuaded him and finally let him give him a ride to school. It seemed that he must experience a luxury car.
...
After leaving Tsuruko some distance away from the school, Naoki Nagayama continued his self-driving tour. The next section of the road was basically along the coastline, so he could enjoy the sea view.
It seemed that there was a light rain last night, and the air on the road was fresher.
Occasionally the sea breeze blows, and you can even taste the light salty taste of the sea water.
While listening to the music from the car stereo, I admired the beautiful scenery of the coastline. Occasionally, when I got interested, I went to explore the beach nearby, or took photos of the blue sea on the rocks. Naoki Nagayama was immersed in this scenery.
I don't know the time at all.
The vehicles that occasionally pass by are full of trucks or hurried pedestrians, and few can be as comfortable and leisurely as Naoki Nagayama.
At noon, I had a seafood meal in Huxi City. There was nothing else, only one thing that was fresh. I continued my journey in the afternoon.
Nagoya's reputation has been famous since the Tokugawa Ieyasu era. The famous Nagoya Castle, despite the war, still stands in Nagoya City and is known as one of the three famous cities in Japan.
Other famous attractions include Atsuta Jingu Shrine, Tokugawa Garden, Daikannon Temple, etc.
After Nagayama Naoki arrived, he only had a quick glance at these scenic spots. For people who grew up in this new era, these temples are just a special scenery at best.
After an afternoon of driving, he decided that Nagoya's specialty food was what he wanted to try most, so he found a specialty restaurant in the city and started to enjoy it.
Nagoya people particularly like sauces, and the famous noodles and sauce-cooked udon really live up to their reputation, as well as tempura rice balls... Naoki Nagayama's stomach was full with these delicacies.
I found a hotel to make do with it for the night, and there was absolutely no "special service"!
The next day, Nagayama Naoki ate a kind of tea-style rice called eel tea for breakfast and started his journey to the mountains.
The mountain roads in the Showa era were not as complete as they were later, and you would occasionally encounter small animals crossing them.
Nagayama Naoki drove very carefully along the way, without even increasing the speed.
But I also took this opportunity to appreciate the green trees in the mountains, the red flowers along the road, the creek among the rocks...and of course the ubiquitous mosquitoes...
Naoki Nagayama didn't stop to take photos along the way. He only took a break until Iijima Town, where he tasted Nagano Prefecture's famous wasabi noodles.
The journey in the afternoon was slower. As the altitude increased, the temperature gradually dropped, and Naoki Nagayama felt a little cooler with the convertible hood on.
Sure enough, Yoshimura Otomo said that it is very feasible to go back to his hometown to escape the summer heat.
We arrived in Suwa City at 3 or 4 pm. If we continued driving, we might have to spend the night in the mountains. Naoki Nagayama decided to rest here for a day. I have to say that it is indeed a bit cold at night in the mountains.
A hot spring bath is still very comfortable.
On the fourth day of the self-driving tour, Nagayama Naoki set off from Kirigamine and drove on the "Venus Highway" known as the best driving journey. This can be said to be a sightseeing road specially developed for tourism and self-driving.
, it rises and falls in the mountains of Nagano, winding and winding, and there are many viewing platforms along the way.
The beauty of April in the human world is gone, and the peach blossoms in the mountain temple are beginning to bloom.
Although it is already mid-June, there are still many flowers in bloom in the mountainous areas, dotted among the lush forest leaves, and the colorful mountain pools are like agates strung together by streams, adding to the already beautiful scenery.
view wearing a colorful necklace.
The camera never stopped along the way, and Naoki Nagayama stopped at every viewing platform to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
It is said that in autumn, when the leaves change colors, this place will be like nature's palette. Naoki Nagayama is already thinking about whether he should visit in autumn.
The road deep into the mountains was winding and the altitude was constantly rising. Naoki Nagayama sometimes couldn't tell the direction even with a map. Fortunately, the parking stops along the way and some similarly driving vehicles gave us reminders, and we finally drove to Midi.
Original plateau.
We took photos at the road station with the highest altitude in RB, visited the Minohara Plateau Art Museum and bought a bunch of souvenirs...
It was already past 2 o'clock in the afternoon. I basically spent the day driving, taking photos, and enjoying the beautiful scenery. I even bought a lunch box in the store for lunch.
They say it’s easier to go up a mountain than it is to go down. If you don’t go down now, it might be dark when you reach the bottom of the mountain.
There are still beautiful scenery on the way down the mountain, but Nagayama Naoki just passes by. Unless the scenery is particularly beautiful, I won't stop to take pictures.
After following the traffic to the foot of the mountain, Naoki Nagayama drove to the hot spring village of Bessho to refresh himself and wash away his fatigue.
I drove for 4 consecutive days, crossing mountains and seas. Even though I was accompanied by beautiful scenery and delicious food along the way, I was really a little tired, and I didn't sleep well that night.
As soon as the day broke, Naoki Nagayama started his self-driving tour again, but this time he did not continue to the mountains. He followed the national highway, passed through Gunma, and drove straight towards Tokyo.
It seems like I didn’t go to Owano Town? No matter what, the closer to Tokyo, Naoki Nagayama’s mood got better and better. After turning on the stereo CityPop, you really have to listen to it on the city’s roads to get a better feel for it.
After driving all the way on the highway, in less than 3 hours, Nagayama Naoki could already see the buildings in Tokyo. It looked like he could have lunch at home in Tokyo.
Finally, at noon, Nagayama Naoki finally drove to Waseda's apartment, and had lunch at a ramen shop nearby.
Although there was constant food along the way, the familiar taste actually made him miss it.
...
...
The apartment had not been occupied for almost a week, so it was obvious that some dust had accumulated.
Naoki Nagayama returned home and put down the souvenirs and gifts he had collected along the way, and started cleaning first.
At the same time, I pressed the record button on the phone and went out for a week. It seemed that some people still left messages for me.
The earlier message was from Araki Shigetomo, asking Nagayama Naoki to inspect the disco's operation in June. The manager was indeed very responsible.
Wonta Nakai left a message to ask about the recent situation and wanted to make an appointment to get together.
Mother and Tsuruko left messages saying that they would be safe when they got home.
The latest one is Itou Shuichi: "Naoki-san, haven't you come back from your self-driving trip? I recently received an invitation to a TV series. If you receive the message, call me back to have a detailed chat and give you some suggestions~"
It seems that Shuichi Itou is preparing to make a TV series, but from an advertising director to a TV series director, it is a major change. I don't know if it will go smoothly.
Nagayama Naoki was thinking while cleaning, and then responded to relevant information based on the messages, especially the appointment with Itou Shuichi to go to the studio tomorrow to discuss in detail.
After a self-driving trip, these photos need to be developed by someone, the souvenirs purchased need to be arranged, and the gifts and postcards need to be divided and sent to different people in the afternoon.
After such an operation, it turned out to be dark...
I didn’t go out for dinner, so I just cooked two side dishes and watched the TV program slowly.
Late at night, Naoki Nagayama finally slept in his first house in Tokyo again. This time, he slept deeply.
